I love this weapon but i could not handle nursing spewers with it at all. Edit: After some testing, i can confirm the interuptiong people have claimed is not consistent. There are times it will interrupt them, others where they still get the puke off and i die. I dont know if it has to do with how many bolts hit the spewer or not (prolly not) but either way be aware of the puke and keep strafing left or right of it. DO NOT DIVE. The puke can still track you perfectly even with diving which is so counter intuitive.

@@ryell0913 It's actually really good against spewers because it stuns them from spitting. so you can just stun lock them to death.
@@baconx6476 Thats what everyone twlls me and that has worked with the bile spewers but the nursing spewers just shrugged it off. The blitzer did not interrupt the spit.
@@ryell0913 Really? I'm pretty sure I've fought both bile and nursing and they were both stunned by the blitzer to stop their shots.
I really like the new Arc-Blitzer. It just has the same problem as the Arc-Thrower where dead bodies can obstruct the shots, and sometimes shoots the ground for whatever reason. If it had consistent live-target shooting I'd love it some more.
It also seems to be bad for close-quarters fighting.
@xonxt Yes, generally, you want to spread the shots, so shooting up close isn't ideal. Firing at melee distance seems to miss the shot entirely, too.
@@Eight-Bytes ADS and FPS mode both extend the barrel forward compared to hip shooting. When they are in your face, try hip shooting in their direction. Should help it be more consistent there.

@TwistedFox42 also diving backwards to fire gives u that space needed for it to register targets as well. I use the blitzed for almost everything lately, mainly because I like the run n gun kiting style, put a rover on and nothing medium and below should reach u.
Yes, the performance drop is a known issue that affects many divers. I'm hoping it gets smoothed out with the hotfix.
I think its the patrols. I play on PS5 and when theres 3 patrols and a bug breach it really tanks my fps no matter where they are on the map. I look away from the massive swarm and my fps goes back to 60 Edit- this is helldive with general 2 man squads

The game is also crashing more frequently than before in different ways. At least on pc. They always mess shit up with each new patch.
Some people can't even play the game. My friend got his game down to 5 fps on a rig that can run it at 60.
I like the Rover with the new “nerf” it hasn’t killed me anymore but it still kills the small enemies fast enough.

I’ve been using the normal guard dog. I enjoy it. I do wish it had more ammo. It can run out pretty quick but I’ve enjoyed it
i was always rover main and before the buff to regular guard i liked it a lot more (didnt kms as much) and then with more damage its been great, really don mind the reload part bc it gets more than enough kills
I tried out the "buffed" Guard Dog and it still feels terrible. It needs to reload after killing like 2 hunters
Honestly I’d consider this a QOL change than a nerf. The only reason you take rover is to kill small ads and it still performs well at that, but the change made it so you’re not constantly getting obliterated because the laser keeps hitting you
That fight back when everything was going to hell was inspirational.
Important Advice for people who were always getting killed by the old rover: It always wants to move to be above your right shoulder, paying attention to that, you can 1) avoid it’s laser killing you and 2) direct its targeting to bias directions. I’ve only ever been killed by my own rover once thanks to having noticed this quickly.
The stagger hasn't been nerfed on the blitzer, stalkers used to be able to zerg you between shots, now you can keep them still because of the RoF buff
The Blitzer still sucks against stalkers. I think it fails to damage them when they are cloaked.
4:40 I think the stagger is still the same in my observation. I had a wall of Hive Guards and Brood Commanders yesterday at Helldive and they just can't get near me always got beamed by "unlimited power" lol

Who even likes the fog... All the enemies can track you through it but you can't see shit of the game.
I hate fog. It brings nothing but frustration to the game. No part of it is fun.
I love it. Maybe too many planets have it but it’s not that big a deal and it’s atmospheric. If its causing stuttering issues that’s a different story and should be fixed
@@Honeybadger5408 the texture pack sizes are comically large, especially fog and smoke. Fog alone can drop players down by almost 40 FPS

Aim just above the enemeis for more cosistent results. The gun shoots in a cone at 120 degrees out to 30m. As a result, your best results will be keeping them 10+m away as that causes the width of your firing cone to be at its widest and pick off the most heads.

I think you should consider taking Guard Dog Rover instead of Shield Backpack in this build. It cleans up the huge Hunter/Pouncer packs very nicely and it combos with the stagger from the Blitzer
I made the exact same comment. The guard dog rover has a super fun level of synergy with the Blitzer. The shield backpack is always a great pick, but I personally enjoy the game more when my strategems augment each other's effectiveness.
The Senator has medium armour penetration, so it's actually excellent at taking out Hive Guards and Brood Commanders, which your other weapons here are not so efficient at dealing with.
The Blitzer ignores armour, so he very much could have taken a more useful sidearm, like the grenade pistol for nest clearing.
@@Crimnox_Cinder I must admit it will take a lot for me to give up on the grenade launcher secondary plus stun grenades. Maybe the next warbond will help me reconsider.
Did you just watch the same video? The Arc Blitzer is notoriously good at dealing with Brood Commanders. It pops their heads in 2 shots.
@@connman8d617 Unless it hits a bush, or a corpse, or the wrong enemy in front of you because you can't really aim it. I don't think it's a bad weapon, it's just very mid. I have watched about 80 minutes of footage people using it recently, and the footage absolutely supports that conclusion. If you have to use tons of Napalm Strikes and your sidearm constantly, then the Arc is not actually THAT good at trash clearing.

Hard-agree on the EAT + Quasar being the play after the recent nerf to Quasar. You need more regular rockets for diff 9.
The Recoilless is also fantastic, since there's now a reload animation cancel for it, which is absoutely busted. (effectively speeds up the reload time massively)
@@piercearora7681 the reload is still suicide on diff 9, especially without a backpack to protect you. Recoiless has great dps but it’s just impractical

@@Rich-in6ds”Without a backpack to protect you” is a skill issue. I regularly take auto cannon, recoilless, or rocket launcher on difficulty 7-9 solo. You can learn to manage swarms without the safety of the training wheels (shield, guard dog, jump pack).
As soon as I tried out the blitzer I knew immediately that they are going to nerf it. They will probably buff the defender next and the cycle will continue.
yup, i've been soloing every mission type against bug with (relative) ease despite the increased population (because of the MO) and the increased patrols with the patch. All with the blitzer in the primary slot, I am so happy this weapon feels good to use now, it was the weapon I was looking forward to the most, and now it's finally here.

@@jakemaxwell3810 thats not even the problem. Good job dumbing down a legitimate issue because you dont actually understand it. The devs are not very good at game balance and theyve showed it pretty badly in nearly every "balance" update so far. They dont know what issues actually exist and/or how to actually fix them and they're VERY bad at knee-jerk reactions to non-issue weapons, nerfing things that dont need it, and buffing things in ways that either dont actually solve the issue with said thing or being utterly pointless. The game is by no means unplayable (besides them breaking the game every other update for PC) balance-wise but its not very great either when it could be very easily challenging and well balanced and enjoyable across the board. They also cannot seem to grasp that just because (X) thing is being used alot doesnt mean it needs to be nerfed or touched in any way, in every case so far it has actually meant OTHER things need to be buffed around (X); they cant seem to grasp that no matter what they do, people in general are always going to refine things down to find an "ideal" and just because it exists doesnt mean its bad, and depending on how they balance in the future it doesnt even mean the "ideal" is that much easier than any other option, sometimes its just the most versatile or accessible.
I have found that the Arc Blitzer paired with the Guard dog rover is an absolute monster combo. The Blitzer keeps the horde at bay while the rover lights them up. Plus, the issue with the Blitzer sometimes failing to one-shot hunters is far less of an issue because the laser will finish them almost instantly in that scenario. It's such a fun build that I actually ran it from time to time BEFORE the Blitzer buff.
Been loving the new Blitzer, the uptime for shots are much better and it just feels good to use. Sounds great and stuns most mobs.
You can cancel senator reloads by holding the stratagem button until the menu fully opens! Helps prevent reload bugs when swapping weapons too
Im stealing this loadout, im in love with EAT-17 recently and with quasar it just fits perfectly, napalm with upgrade outclassed gas strike so napalm for horde clear and a juicy shield back to keep urself alive, this loadout is in my opinion perfect, sadly devs dont want anything to be universally viable so something about this is going to get nerfed im just not sure what
Would love to see you try out the og Liberator. The damage upgrade on it makes it feel pretty good now.

Arc-Blitzer is just awesome. I go from "struggling to be a useful role player" in Helldive to "The Undying". Arc-Blitzer + Medium Medic Armor + Shield Bubble. I'll run a terminal with an active Stalker nest nearby spawning 4 Stalkers cause even if they boop me, I can make a bit of space and then just keep 4 Stalkers back til they die or ninja-flip away. You can hold a chokepoint all day with just occasional help needed for the Heavies.
Order with the rover is a solid combo. Keeps the jumpers off you so you can hold a decent distance.
Do you mainly drop chargers with EAT or quarsar? What do you prefer?
I've been running a very similar build even before blitzer buff, I think jump pack can also be nice as it adds to the speedy playstyle that the blitzer likes :)
The arc blitzer is definitely improved but still feel the breaker incendiary and sickle are better.

If you aim above enemies you can usually take advantage of the auto targeting and hit multiple targets. Maybe more importantly- avoid the shots fizzling from hitting bodies on the ground
Question at 26:42 how are you able to keep moving and throw down a stratagen that easily. Did you remap the stratagen's to the arrow keys? or are you using a Macro?

You can remap strategems to any other input buttons like the arrow buttons or even extra buttons on your mouse if you have enough

2 people alternating shots with these is pure wave control. Run orbitals that clear heavies and youre golden. Additionally, they protect turrets insanely well.

consider throwing your EAT stratagem on a charger, have it chase you then use the EATson titans, youll one shot the charger or put it in bleed out state.
I wanna see you run this loadout with the guard dog rover instead of the shield. The rover helps to deal with the enemies that get too close
Brother the arc-12 blitzer is shoot and scoot weapon also is one shot to the brood commanders in the head from close range(meaning all the arc's have to hit the head in order to one shot them)and in order to hit multiple targets with it you have to keep them at the range you were at the heavy bug nest and constantly backpaddle to keep at that range and hit multiple targets.
The only thing the blitzer needs now, is for AH to fix the inconsistent targetting, and then it will be perfectly fine as it is now. This applies to the arc thrower as well
Same as arc thrower, aim above them and hipfire more for a wider spread to to help combat dead bugs absorbing shots
Getting a team of four and running arc resistant armor, Tesla towers, and blitzer or arc thrower is a ton of fun
My FPS has also been lower since this latest patch, I think people are experiencing this across the board. Also, how do you continue to move while using the stratagems, what binds are you using?

A weapon that has Medium armor pen, infinite ammo and stagger force is fantastic They're gonna fix that misfire thing eventually, but the most consistent way to shoot multiple targets, fire in the space between targets and hipfire. Stagger is underrated advantage in this game, you can stun lock every bug under heavy armor pen now.The stagger is the same, I'm able to move forward sometimeswhile shooting in to crowds Because of how obtuse the weapon feels for the DPS players, they're having trouble finding the best loadout to pair it with. I understand the logic of pairing this with quazar, but i don't think its completely ideal. Maybe before the patch it would be great but the charge is too long. And currently there's not many great secondary options to pair this with (the redeemer, senator, grenade pistol). For ammo based support weapons its definitely ideal for saving ammo and reserving them for more tense situations and enemies (flame thrower, autocannon, railgun, grenade launcher, machine gun, etc.) We need more weapon options for secondaries and support weapons or they need to stop changing weapons so drastically.
I really liked the Blitzer pre-buff but it's definitely my go-to primary now.
I would prever the weapons be more like in Helldivers 1. The Blitzer there is absolutely insane and does good work. Horrendous in teamplay with randoms since they love run in front of people that just shoot. Like, the #1 thing you learn in any army: Always go around the back of people, never the front. Tzk ^^ But yeah, the weapon is so much fun now. Before it was so disappointing and I wanna go a full electric build. Sadly the Tesla tower is relatively bad - or... not really good for anything. I hope with the new warbond there's more electric swing =) Edit: And thanks to the last patch am barely able to play. Before I was on a stable 30 fps. Now? I even play windowed in 1920x1080... and still don't have a smooth gameplay anymore... Stay crunchy.
I've seen the Tesla tower rock on bug missions with a small map. Placement is super important though.
Quasar + EAT17 is my favourite combo whenever Im not using my flamethrower
I tried the airburst rocket launcher yesterday and it’s actually really good now. Probably not for solo play but it’s a ton of fun now that it works
Especially good for eggs missions, can destroy them all with one well shot rocket
The Blitzer is fun now. Not the best gun you can bring, but it's fun. If they get around to fixing the issues with arc weapons not finding targets it'll be really good, but for now it's just a fun primary to bring. Just remember to stay in front of your friends.

with the recent patch im having a lot more fun with the Blitzer. now that my beloved Sickle has had its ammo cut in half im far more hesitant to use it on bug planets because you will literally run out of ammo on the first 2 breaches depending on difficulty, so Blitzer is now my go to for bugs. The Sickle and Autocannon are still king for me against the bots.
Best thing about nerfs and buffs they can always change shit you should do a poll on who likes the game since the railgun nerf and who misses it i feel like things are a lot more diverse now i use to only use eats and guard dog now it feels like i have such a hard choice when deciding what to land with

When you say 'animation glitch', I thought that was a 'I'm stunned' effect from being hit by the charger. Is that not the case, or did you mean something else I missed?

The best i could do for loadout for Bugs on high difficulties like helldive: Flame thrower - crowd control and charger killer Stun grenade - crowd control and stun locking grenade pistol - objectives and medium enemy damage Guard Dog Rover- Crowd control for smalls 500kg - objectives, bile titan killer and heavy crowd control eagle airstrike - Objectives, damages bile titans and chargers, crowd control OR 380mm barrage w/ upgrades - objective clear and heavy crowd control Blitzer - stun locking, kills smalls/hunters, sometimes mediums Armors passive: engineering kit or med-kit passive
if you want to consistantly arc this to multiple enemies you should fire from hip as ads will tighten the spread of the bolts
For team play, replace the shield with laser rover, and it feels like an astrate kill squad ramming through tyranids swarm
At about 27:40, you can see the instant he enters a flow state. The only reason his streak stopped at 81 was because the bugs got scared.
Unfortunate ending for sure, I also think the Blitzer is pretty good now, it just needs a tiny bit more to deal with that ending situation.That or nerfing the hunters ability to Matrix style dodge lightning lol!

Blitzer, rail, guard dog rover, Eagle airstrike. Grenade pistol. What I dislike most of it is that you can't target the stripped leg of a charger if your teammates damage it or that you have to be very careful supporting teammates shooting stuff that's chasing them.
The airburst launcher works great for egg missions

The blitzer two-hits armored bile spewers which was very surprising and a big pro to the weapon if you hate dealing with them (who doesn't?)

37:01 Two Hunters, one right behind the other, initiated the pounce attack animation at exactly the same time and both landed headshots at the same time, effectively insta-killing you. You can see two hunters land next to you when you died. Just extremely bad luck.
Since i main this weapon from release. I can tell you this much. The times it doesn't one shot a hunter is when eather you miss and only one of the arcs hits him or when there are multiple of them close to each other and the arcs jump to separate targets. You have to get used to how you aim the weapon when you do you can oneshot every hunter 90% of the time
If extraction get pretty crazy run out of the zone and have pelican 1 help clear the area as try to land
I prefer the Arc thrower it does pretty well against pretty much anything, bring 500kg and orbital rail for biles, if that doesn’t kill it finish them off with the arc thrower.
Would be cool if the charging chargers and stomping bile titans movements could kill smaller mobs and stun bigger mobs.

06:35 - yeah I have an Old setup, but I was running the game at 60FPS (60hz monitor) with medium+ settings, I had to lower to medium- almost low settings, still getting bad performance. I don't know what they did to the game or if the installation folder got corrupted??!
The non stop enemy spawns makes solo playing such a pain. As soon as you spawn in it’s nonstop for 5 mins lol
Can confirm FPS drops even on PS5. When there’s a lot of effects I drop to sub 30 on performance mode. Definitely very noticeable. If I had to guess the introduction of all the fog and the spore spewed being on every map is probably contributing to it.
Can you make another video on how to use Arc Thrower on bugs effectively? Maybe help some of the newer folks prevent team kills 😂

Is Napalm viable while damage over time is bugged? Does the bug affect all fire DOT?
fire DOT is only bugged for the players not hosting. unfortunately there’s no way to guarantee that’s you, because the network host and the person who started the mission are not guaranteed to be the same person - the game chooses the network host based on internet speed and how fast your PC/console is compared to other players in the lobby.
My Fps has gone down like 15-20 frames since this new update. Good showing crazy match.
DirectX12 troubleshooting The game was poorly optimized for DirectX12, so we look for the shader_cache folder at the link C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2 or through System Settings/Storage/Temporary files/Shader cache and delete it because it contains DirectX 12 version shaders, then in Steam, right-click on the game, select Properties... and in the General section, which will immediately open in the Launch Options, write --use-d3d11 and launch the game, at the first launch there will be a black screen for 3-5 minutes because the game now needs to be created shaders on DirectX 11 version, done. This method may give a small increase in fps, but the game will work more stably and there will be no drops in intense moments, which will make it impossible to play. I also advise you to change the DLSS (Render Scale) value to Native in the game settings, as the game will look clearer and consume less resources. Also, the quality of the textures is not affected much, regardless of the recommended amount of memory of the video card and you can experiment and change it to a higher value, I also advise you to set the drawing range to Ultra and turn off Vertical synchronization to avoid input lag and limit the number of fps by hertzing the monitor, I also advise turn on Anti-Aliasing/Smoothing and turn off Use Async Compute, as it gives an increase only on GT series cards.

If you have the personal shield up you won't get slowed by it.
With the Blitzer I like to dive back or to the side when the bugs get to close

They need to change the guns description in the armory screen. It says it arcs between ALL targets in front of it which is insanely untrue lol. It arcs to 3 enemies max and half the time it either only hits one or none lol

I prefer vringing the breaker incendiary to keep hunters off of me and flamethrower to deal with hive guards, brood commanders, chargers as well as hordes if enemies (Bile titans are handled by 500kg) (Also i dont play solo)
