I basically get that performance on my 6800xt , granted I only use global illumination, not full rt. It plays great capped at 60 with fmf getting it to around 100-120 fps.
Absolutely I was able to get all RT at 4k with FSR 2 ultra performance over 100fps on 7800XT
@frogboyx1Gaming I haven't really messed around with other fsr settings. I just left mine at quality. It runs so smoothly like that. I just left it alone and enjoyed the game, haha.
@@frogboyx1Gaming what graphics settings? I've just ran the 7900xtx at fsr balanced 4k ultra not the ultra + and RT and I was 70 outside areas and dropping to 50s in Novigrad. It ran pretty smooth.
The argument against Nvidia is "you need to use all the tools".... The counter to that argument is "yeah but the tools are good" lol..
Aw. Cute. Its always nice to see how 1000$ nvidia gpus cant deliver good fps in 9yo titles with rt at 4k. RT is such a nonsene... Nvidia = 💩.
So which $1000 AMD gpu's deliver better performance with RT at 4k in 9yo titles?
I mean the 6900xt,7900xtx had an rrp of $1000. The 6950xt had an rrp of $1100. Do these perform anywhere near or better?
@@Spratty-wb3is that's not the point though. One brand is literally using it's Raw power for RT, the other has dedicated hardware and is still struggling. Also nobody was hyping AMD for ray tracing.

The original game may be 9 years old. That's kinda irrelevant, considering they did a full next gen overhaul on it with higher quality textures, runs on dx12 and other improvements, not just rt. It's no different than any modern game, really. Also, why would you need a single-player game to run better than that? Just look at the unoptimized mess that is Dragon's Dogma 2 and tell me this game is somehow worse...
