  • 5-15 minutes the moment you wake up, make time to listen before you get up & get going. After a while these words become your mantra and no one can touch you!

  • Guys, I feel so knocked down because I've recently found out that my 1.5 year apprenticeship job will only be minimum wage after completion:( I've just worked for a year earning less than £5 just to earn minimum wage after it??? Its a company that doesn't talk about pay and I had to ask and ask to finally get a straight answer :( Feeling so stupid, like the last year was a waste- I could've been working a dead-end job and be on minimum wage the last year instead . At the company, there's no real room for growth or climbing a ladder; its worker (me), assistant manager, manager. That's basically it :( I had about 4 months left of my apprenticeship and then I wanna leave ASAP I just wanna make over minimum wage!!! Any advice?

    • Brotha I don’t know much about life but what I do know is that you can’t look at the time the passed as a waste , shift your mind into asking yourself what all that time taught you. Take the good out and take it all the way , if you learned something . You did not waste time

    • Use what you’ve learned, skills/mindset/communication/success through failures & find new opportunities with those skills. Some years in life will suck, but trust me you learned something that will open new doors. You just have to find yourself and focus on what you truly want & believe in. In your 20s I believe are growth years. If you aren’t growing each year, you’re getting too comfortable.

    • We’ve all been knocked down, friend. We just have to learn from it and get back up. If you decide to do something else, there’s that saying that goes you’re not starting from scratch, you’re starting from experience.

    • First of all try to stay positive, and grateful. Is there a way that you can take what you learned and do it for yourself? When I was a younger man I took an apprenticeship as a plumber. The job did not pay well but, my friends were starting to call me for small jobs here and there. soon others started calling for small jobs mostly because the bigger companies did not want to be bothered with it. You may be able to turn your lemon into lemonade.
