  • I have so much respect for Dr. Davis. This is the closest I’ll get to hear her speak in my lifetime…I had tickets just before covid hit and then the event was cancelled…that was my last shot, but I’m excited to see this at least.

  • Critical Race Theory may not be taught TO children, but it is practiced upon many, if not most these days (depending on the school or school district.

    • What would she have us do with the likes of Richard Ramirez (The Night Stalker), Payton Gendron (The Tops Shooter), Dennis Rader (BTK) ect?

      @tombailey6021@tombailey6021 Жыл бұрын
    • She would most probably ask that we build healthy communities and fair environments where moms and dads do not have to work 4 jobs a day leaving their children to their own devices. Violent offenders are part the human race and I guess that when the environments are healthy, the violent "gene" might be kept in check. Mind you "violence" also refers to emotional violence and prejudice. There are some in prominent positions who are just as bad (if not more) violent than those who are in prison.

    • @@mangoyacho Do you think she would promote marriage before having kids? Probably not. Do you think she would support the teaching of an objective moral code like the Ten Commandments to children? Probably not. Do youthink she would ever acknowledge the importance of fathers? Definitely not! All of human history parents had to work and toil and sacrifice their lifesblood to raise children into decent human beings. And for the most part they did it. What happened? Secularization of society perhaps?

    • You obviously didn't listen to her conversation. When she corrects when she gracefully corrects the wonderful poet that she in fact is not for prison reform that she is a prison abolitionist she asks the audience since gender violence meaning violence against women perpetuated by men is the most prolific crime and form of abuse in our world please note the global most cause of death for women is being killed by a man over anything else while men globally is heart disease. She says now what should we do with these offenders of violence towards women obviously she states being that if we in fact incarcerated all of those who committed an act of violence against a woman that who would be incarcerated the most I current statistics tell us what it would be it would be people of color, people living in poverty, and working class people. Please note that by people I mean men. And then if we lock up all these men globally where the hell will we be then. In that thought right there it shows you how much she values a man, she values life. I'd say she would be quick to admit how important the role of men is in our society.

    • And I agree with other commenters here I'm imagining that we would have to become quite creative as I am sure that we are all fallible and can all make poor decisions even in the best environments but I know that she values safety she certainly isn't wanting rampant crime we have to think bigger than the boundaries we currently set in our society.

Children that young are not capable of discussing THEORY about anything Duhhhh 🙄 You do not even realize that the politicians that have you people all filled with hate and making VIOLENT threats against teachers and school board members only since trump the criminal got here, are playing you for idiots. At the bloody expense of the rest of us who have to pay the consequences of your ignorance.
