Dude I'm imagining "Stop the train" missions where we either have to destroy an automaton train from delivering supplies as well as destroying the tracks to disrupt them further, and a massive, disgusting caterpillar like creature for the bugs that serves a similar purpose as a biological "train".
I remember those damn train escort missions in Helldivers 1 now...
my mind was a 12 man mission, 1 squad on the front, 1 on the back, 1 on the top, all having the task of protecting an armored convoy train full of supplies and/or Class-A citizens, they can help each other but each squad's objectives are still 'separate' so you can't just send squad mates from 1 section to another.
TF2 end of the line SFM type shit is what I'm imagining by your description lmfao
Picturing four Helldivers riding on a cargo train to the objective, having to fend off Automoton dropships dropping infantry on them to keep the trains fuel tanks from exploding.

And the train itself is armed to the teeth in armaments to fend for itself, however with so many Automotons after the train, it needs some Helldivers fire support to hold them off. Just make sure you dont stand in front of the trains own guns.

I would like the Helldivers 2 Devs to add a feature where you can play your own music in the game, like some audio player your Helldiver carries that you can use in-game to arrange your playlist. WE NEED TRAINS IN HELLDIVERS
New Mission Type: Convoy Defense. Mission Briefing: Escort an Armored Convoy to the Designated Stop Zone. Description: Divers will drop in on a specified Location nearest the Supply Convoy. Divers are required to prepared themselves in 30 Seconds with whatever ordinance they have. After 30 Seconds, The Super Heavy-Armored Convoy will automatically move in a set path on a rail-based track. Divers must defend the Convoy at all costs until it reaches the dropoff point, which also serves as an extraction point. The SHAC (Super Heavy-Armored Convoy) is not Invincible. It may withstand Extreme damage from large enemies but only to an extent. Divers can also Drop Sentries onto Specified Drop-safe zones located on the SHAC for additional defense. If at anytime the SHAC is destroyed, it will be considered Critical Mission Failure. Mission Related Stratagem: Repair Kit - Allows you to repair any damage done to the SHAC to a Decent Extent. Cooldown of 120 Seconds between drops. Use wisely. Choose stratagems wisely. offensive Stratagems can and will damage the SHAC if used too irresponsibly.
