The BMF Title should be a fight until finish competition. This means unlimited 5 min rounds, no judge decisions, no outside stoppage(unless it's the fighters corner throwing in the towel), they fight til Knockout or Tap out. both fighters should sign a contract stating these rules. It's the BMF title (no weightclass) it should have different rules for the title fight. And it should also include multiple weight classes so like masvidal can fight idk Jon jones or triple c if they wanted the fight and if you back out of the fight you vacate the belt. That would bring alot of prestige to the belt in my opinion and would definitely help sell PPVs it'll make the belt somewhat relevant instead of a one off. Anyone agree or disagree? Any other rules or changes to what I said as rules?

I'm a huge fan of both of these guys. I was so down for this fight. The stoppage probably,needed to happen though. Unfortunately nate has so much scar tissue to where his face opens up pretty quickly. The dude is bloody every fight... Masvidal is simply a fearless hand-to-hand combatant who’s willing to take a hit in order to successfully get his in. He’s not really defensive. Everything great about him comes from his reckless offensive style. In the UFC, it works, but if he thinks he’ll be able to do that against a guy like the 4x world champion, PFP number 1 that is Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, he’s clearly smoking something. He stands zero chance against Canelo. His fight IQ is on an entirely different level.

Nah it cheapens the Division titles. But strengthens the product. This is an unusual and still new sport. Where relatively pedestrian records are a signs of balls to the wall efforts, experience, but not lack of skill. The skillsets are so broad which is why we say anything can happen in MMA truthfully. It's about time the sport revisits wtf made the sport so intriguing in the 1st place...fun and interesting fights. Belts need not be on the line for top notched entertainment in a clash of skills. All these fuckin Interim belts and ignoring rankings and the superstar push era we're cheapening the product as well. Ronda, Conor, Sage, Van Zandt. All exposed. Dana's dumb fuckin ass is NOW legitimately shifting the focus on these hard working veterans whom literally carry the sports on their back. Hope it stays this way.
