  • The thing is, both of them are pretty great (Albeit, I haven't played Motorfest yet, heard good things about it), but the server issues seems like it's been a thing since 2017 with games having to be done in a certain way to connect to people or it just doesn't work in general until later. It's unfortunate how some games are rushed due to a deadline and making sales because of that, thus coding and developing can completely break alot of stuff, including servers. Hopefully it gets fixed for the ones that are playing Motorfest.

    • trust me once you play motorfest you will find a lot more problems with it. the reason you've heard good things is because pretty much every major automotive gaming channel was sponsored by ubisoft at launch

    • @@unwoundsteak17wonder why there’s problems… oh wait it’s because it’s a multi platform game, servers are crashing because of the low end consoles not being able to run them properly and things have to be pulled back for them to even run at all, if it was a PS5/series x and s exclusive game there wouldn’t be a problem with it

  • Fully agree Jack, I play all racing games mostly online with friends my self. With all the crap that’s been released lately for the large AAA titles it has really soured my view of them. I have been stuck on Assetto Corsa and BeamNG ever since! I don’t really miss these games at all with all the issues when there are other games that work better and they are mods built by the community that plays them 😑

  • works fine for us. we cruise in convoy everyday. if any of your crew notifications or HUD options are off it wont work at all. and that goes for anyone in the party. if one person turns any of that off the crew will be disbanded

  • This issue was in crew 1 and its still there and it was also in crew2 and they fixed about 1year later and now its in Motorfest.....

  • This is actually the first time I've heard a valid criticism on the game that isn't entirely subjective by opinion or personal experience. I've only played single player and the people I've watched review have seemingly also only played single player so far, so I didn't know or even expect this cause the game already runs really good for me on Xbox One, I'll have to see soon if it's the same for me on lobbies.

  • To fix this issue me and my friend would do a race and at the end you spawn next to eachother, we could never find eachother at all before.

  • I love Motorfest bur it's really annoying this issues. The Crashes, Online connectivity, the Mirrors something meah but it's there. By the way Motorfest it's very fun and a great game. My Favorite playlist experience until now was the Donut Media one. Very fun ideas and the last one the Most crazy and epic Event.

  • Even as I really love and enjoy FH5, the updates that are coming out now have features that should have been available at launch. They are really taking things slowly here.

  • At pc after 20 hours playtime. Online and offline i had no crashes or disconnects. Cars look and sound awesome. Handling, i still not happy about it. It feels really weird and off road is terrible. My wheel sometimes spins for no reason and this at very slow speed.

  • Another annoying thing for me with Motorfest is that on Series S, it’s 30fps for me and I can’t change it. I bought the X/S version for 110 bucks, yet it has framedrops and is barely ever able to keep 30fps when it can.

  • For me, who only has an Xbox One S, had so many issues playing FH5, kept crashing midway through a race or keeps freezing up during a race, the map barely renders in and keeps freezing the game multiple times, it’s making me want to…”Unleash Carnage!”

    • Bro you are lucky i cant see my friends sometimes we cant join crew and if we start race its loading screen for min or 2 and after that we play alone with bots not together and game crashed about 50 times in 40h..

  • The issue me and a friend have been having is we drive around and dont see each other, very frequent crashes, or we try to load up a co op race and it just wont load and splits us up. Thought it was cause I'm on PS4 and he is on PS5 but tried on PC and same issues.

    • That disappearing has been an issues since the first game, you just gotta make it work and get lucky but for the crashes me and my friend play on Us severs and haven’t crashed once on laptop

  • I've really enjoyed playing Motorfest on PC, but one major issue that I consistently have is that every time I take a photo in the game, my frames drop from 60 to 10. Have to reboot the game every time. 10/10 game otherwise.

  • My friend and I didn't have problems joining and seeing each other, but we would start a playlist up together and one of us would get booted and now we are stuck doing the event at the same time BY OURSELVES

  • no wonder motorfest doesn't have full crossplay, or crews with more than 4 players... Just irritating because they marketed the game as having crossplay but you can't even invite people on other platforms to your crew. Pretty much means I either gotta buy the xbox version or wait for full crossplay to be added if I want to play with any of my buddies.

  • Me and my Dad can't even play Forza together without him getting booted off which is super annoying so I usually have to find another player ( or two ) to cruise around with ( which don't get me wrong it's cool doing that ) but me and my Dad want to cruise online together but we can't he keeps getting booted off ( rant over ) anyways love the videos Jack and everyone one off us knows how annoying it it

  • Imagine paying 100 bucks for being a Beta tester for 2 years... Oh Forza Horizon 5, Cyberpunk and name more games/Dev's that do us dirty. I think, many if not all Devs these days are complacent and think we 'accept' this sort of shit at launch, while in fact many of us freaking don't, and yet no Dev team freaking listens to us or makes god damn sure their game isn't a shitshow at launch! As much as I like to buy all those new titles as preorder. FH5, Dirt 5 and NFS Payback (this last one first ever preorder btw) have all shocked me to the point I don't want to buy any new games no more, especially not in preorder. If I maybe want the game, Imma wait a half year first.

  • I figured out the problem. On the crew motorfest, you have to get in a race with your crew/party present and just quit the race and you’ll be able to see your friends forever
