  • The entire production was impressive from start to finish. The editing was very well done, particularly the "Swan Lake" portion! Incredible work done by Glenn, Beau and all involved with the massive task of bringing this beautiful armoured beast back to form! Loved every second of this video. Very much look forward to the zimmerit application and seeing it move around under it's own power. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Loved seeing all the exhibits when I was there last week & as a bonus I got to say g'day to a few of the guys. The Open Hatch tour was really interesting, old mate who did the talking was very knowledgeable & i learnt some new things for sure. I got to see the panzer IV G started & get driven around the track outside. Kurt even opened the viewing platform up so we could go outside & watch. Thanks to all the crew there, I would highly recommend a visit.

Would y'all's be capable of running other than it's basically a cobbled together wreck? Looks like it was definitely blown apart by something.

  • Even after 80 years of technical progress, this Tiger 1 tank still impresses by his massive presence and the aura of physical enforcement together with some kind of majesty which transpire, reaching our imagination. Impressive work you have done to rebuild this engin from scratch. Nevertheless, we should keep in mind that it is a killing machine, built to serve an despictable ideology.

I watch a lot of Tank rebullds and Aus-Armor is the best quality, good music, great narrative. No other tank rebuild show can compete. I also appreciate the work of the filmer - he narrates well, with great selection of music and good film of the project. I am an American and got into 1/16 scale tanks and Aus-Armor is a fun learning experience. Cheers to all of you and Bo's Dad, and all the other builders..

  • UNBELIEVABLY GRAND !!!! Without a doubt, the Tiger 1 is the predecessor for all MBTs today regarding its design and functionality. It had power steering and an automatic transmission -- which the drivers said were stupendous (and became standard design years later). It also had a turret floor which meant that the crew did not have to keep readjusting their positions as the turret turned -- thereby increasing crew effectiveness for the mission as well as cohesiveness. The Tiger crews truly believed that they OWNED the battlefield and talked about how safe they felt in them as the tank took hit after hit. The Tiger 1 brings together the 3 main factors that are applied today: 1. FIREPOWER, 2. PROTECTION, and 3. Mobility. While it is true that the Tiger is underpowered, the Germans could have designed an engine to give it better speed and reliability. Without a doubt, the engines of today would make this behemoth MOVE. The Tiger 1 is a masterpiece of design no matter what its detractors will tell you. It dominated the battlefield and created such tank aces as Michael Wittman, Kurt Knispel, Otto Carius, Johannes Bolter, and Walter Kniep.
