One thing I love about this series is that the war isn’t 100% nukes all at once, slow gradual ones. I think that’s one of the more heartwarming things about this topic.
Always wanted to be in a slow burning, nuclear apocalypse. Makes it more suspenseful
Gotta admit the concept of an ongoing months-long nuclear war is more horrifying than one that is over in 3-7 hours.

@Clinton da 5 lol its a company town. I started working in the cafeteria when i was 12. Half the houses are remodeled trailers. And we only got cable wifi 1 year ago.
Would a place in the North Woods be safe, say, Bemidji? I'm probably going to school up there for my dream (well, pre-nuke, in this case), it'd be safer than the Cities or Rochester...we don't have any mountains, but I prefer lakeland woods anyway - it's not quite self-sufficient but the transition could be made, necessity is the mother of invention after all.

Gotta love he HAS to clarify (not Minecraft). Remember when that was a small-time indie game, less popular than Braid or Cave Story at one point? Goes to show: never give up on your dreams.

Fun fact lucky is the most important character, without him the others would probably died from suicide, he made the old man survive more, so they would not panic for being extremely outnumbered, he also made rob very disabled.

You’re better off it you do. The bigger the team, the better.
I would've under condition that he is not included in watch shifts, cant have weapons and has sleep in the center of the group away from whoever's on guard under watch of at least 1 with 2 on each shift. That way untill we know we can trust him preferably not until after we reach where we're going and definitely not taking detours suggested by him.
Lucky was a really smart addition to the story. In a post apocalyptic world, the bond between humans and dogs would likely be VERY strong and Lucky represents everything good about that relationship.

What do you mean "forget"? The emergence of wide spread cannibalism in this sort of scenario is entirely speculative, the feverish imagining of bullet n' bean hoarders. Even in the incredibly rare cases of people resorting to it after intense privation, it's pretty much always been people eating the corpses of those already dead, not hunting the living. People forming hunting parties and slaughtering other humans while there are still canned goods all over the place is just a deeply weird fantasy.

Just WOW!!! First of all, BIG kudos to the entire Infographics Show team for this series! The storyline is big screen cinema worthy and the narration is brilliant. I know I echo the sentiment of the rest of us who are now so heavily invested by saying that I absolutely cannot wait for the next episode in this series!! Job well done!!

This no budget no actor post apocalyptic story line is better then 95 percent of anything in the same genre on any streaming site. Thanks infographics for proving so many points whilst also being entertaining
This story is incredible and so in depth. I truly feel like you went through it and are telling your first hand account of what happened. The next video could be 2 hours long and I’d be here for it.

This mini series is getting really good on it's own right 🙂 The last part, when an osprey flew over then crashed. I was hopeful then a saddened. Somehow when a silver lining comes to view it got dashed right away. Looking forward on the next part of their journey

some parts of it remind me of the walking dead tbh so i see what you mean! cannibals, evil leaders on a farm and all that. even the way lillith is cold and then warms up to robby reminds me of maggie and glenn
multiple comparisons in plot and character building could be made. PS. i've never actually watched TWD but ive seen too many youtube shorts about it and the plot which is where i got my info from so feel free to correct me if im wrong.
@@NotSandhorst Coincidence cuz ive just watched 4 seasons of TWD and its so crazy similar, in a realistic way of approach. The character dynamic is the one of the most similar one. At the end of the day, both are apocalyptic event

I was listening to this and felts transported to another world. I didn’t even see the illustrations as I’m driving but man, this was amazing! Please keep it going. It’s seriously better than what Hollywood has been producing lately.
I've lived in California for 28 years and I'm impressed with how thorough and accurate this is. I'd love to see more of other cities in similar scenarios!

This story reminds me of 'Lucifers Hammer' by Larry Niven, but instead of a comet, it was nuclear war. Takes place in Cali as well, they go into the hills. Great book.

I love the fact that it also takes place near Big Bear. I use to live a couple of miles south of Big Bear in a rural area in Riverside County. U can literally see my elementary school over Big Bear.
