But what would happen if you make tiny holes with needle, instead of cutting it?
@@gaming2121 it would still work, but you would need to put a lot of holes into the cigar, and it would just take a long time in general
Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.
yes, that's right, I researched and found out that shrooms are helpful in many ways but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source I can reach out to
Sporeville... Is pretty commendable and a very intelligent mycologist. He saved my life honestly
they've helped me a lot as well I'm a war vet diagnosed with PTSD. A lot of issues spun out of control when I came home. This is something i looked up and tried after trying the roller coaster of antidepressants. Day and night difference
How do I reach out to him? Is he on Instagram
Yes, he is, Sporeville.
11:07 The amount of open surface area will help control how much air you can draw, which affects how hot the smoke is (so long as the draw isn't plugged or too tight). The more air you draw in ( and the speed of which you do so) determines how hot the cigar burns. If it burns too hot it won't taste very good.
Do you notice any differences in the flavor using different cutting methods?
vv
@@NikoBellaKhouf it depends on the kind of tobacco, and how hydrated it is. So, yes and no.
@@NikoBellaKhouf No that will only effect draw, which maybe u can argue eventually effects taste... but in general nope only really effects draw.
@@NikoBellaKhouf as stated to hot and you alter the taste, tends to be more bitter, I'd guess from the tar build up based on someone else's comment.

I was a v cut man but after using a punchcut the first time I've never gone back. Perfect depth, air flow, and its on my keys so I'm never losing it
I love my punch cut if I'm smoking at a lounge. I have a guillotine cutter at home. Hopefully I can get a v cutter soon so I can try it
until you lose your keys
I'm new to smoking cigars so now I got to try the punch hole.
I have always enjoyed the punch!
One thing I always keep in mind when selected my cut is the length of the smoke. I enjoy a tight draw, but in a larger cigar, I'll ensure a decent amount of air flow to prevent tar from building up toward the end of the cigar. I hate that bitter taste to the extent that I'll periodically blow out on the cigar to keep the smoke from lingering inside it too long.
I have this problem, I was told it tends to happen if you smoke it to quickly, idk if that's true but figured I'd share.
It's always interesting to hear about different techniques cigar enthusiasts use. Scoring the cap in a circular motion with light pressure and stretching the tobacco sounds like a careful and precise way to create a clean cut. I can see how this method might be especially useful when a V-cut isn't readily available. It's great to know that with a bit of practice, it becomes an efficient and damage-free way to prepare your cigars. Everyone's preference and skill level may vary, but your suggestion adds another useful option to the cigar cutting guide. Happy smoking!
I've watched a couple of these beginner cigar videos and you're the only one to properly point out which end to cut off and also why - thanks for that!

Great vid! Love the editing, especially the punch cut intro! Keep up the good work😁
Thanks for the video. A good friend of mine introduced me to cigars earlier this year, and I forgot how to properly cut a cigar to get the best draw. I had to look this up before making any decisions. Last thing I would want to do is mangle a good cigar. The V cut seems awkward and I'm not too sure how anyone would go about smoking that comfortably and getting a smooth or enjoyable smoke. The straight cut and the punch cut however, are awesome, and I've tried both methods and must say I enjoy them both equally. But depending on the cigar, one method usually works better over the other.
Loved the video! I'm a beginner when it comes to cigars and I learned allot!
What a great video! Awesome content coupled with exceptional vocabulary. Kept me engaged till the end!
Thanks Jeremy - use the v-cut colibri myself but think I'll give the straight cutter a try now - especially for torpedo styles. BTW, thanks for always including international Amazon links when you can... it's a small thing but your Canadian and UK fans appreciate it. Cheers!

Great information!!! No BS. Just plain and simple info for beginners a it should be.
Been a YT addict since it started & this is the first cigar vid I've seen! I had to quit cigars. I got tired of paying $120+ for a box & not being able to smoke some due to being rolled in a hurry or by a rookie. There's no way to fix a too tight roll. The best I smoked were Camacho but damn they were potent. I made the mistake of habing a espresso with one. I was sweating like a pooring rain. Nicotine poisoning. A Coke fixed me right up tho.
All I have to say is that you featured a great selection of cigars in this video.

Dude, that Red Horse cutter is awesome! Pricey... but damn is that one of the coolest cutters I've seen. I think most of cigar smokers past 3-4 years of smoking have used them all. I just started using the XIkar XO Cutter and it is amazing. Thanks for putting up the content man.

I love it! So informative! I had just purchased a punch cutter and you just showed me how to use it correctly! Awesome!
P.S. The beard is so freaking awesome!
If you use a Perfect Cutter on a torpedo, a triple snip is usually perfect in my experience. On box pressed cigars if you use a round cutter, the blade works best if you face the wider sides along with the blades. Less pressure and cuts it cleaner. The Padron 26 and 64 are regulars in my rotation and I’ve never had an issue. I always carry a Colibri V cutter in my case, but it’s rarely ever used. I just don’t like the feel in my mouth with the cut. Punches I used to use 20 years ago when there were virtually no cutters that fit 60 plus ring gauge cigars, but it’s just not ideal for most cigars IMO.
I always use a Samurai sword and let my wife hold the cigar.😝
Great production value. Just got into cigars and buying one at a time as I smoke them. Next will be getting a humidor and learning about how to season it.
I love watching videos like these. I'm not a drinker but I really enjoy smoking cigars. I haven't in months since I have no money. My favorite Brand right now is Punch and Oliva.

Heh. Penetrate. Great vid man. Love it. It's be cool to see a 'how to choose a cigar for beginners' vid. Rock on dude. 🤘🏻
Rationally and overal I would say the straight cut is the best cutter especially the ones with a big ring gauge. Simply because you can cut everything with them, punch and v-cut have their limitations like the ones you mentioned in the video. But since cigars are far away of being something rational i prefer the V-Cut and i switch between the Colibri and the Xikar Cutter, depends on the deepness (is this a real word?) of the cut i want. PS: Thanks for the coffee recommandation! EDIT: Ok sorry if someone these this post a few more times KZhead just wanted to spread my word and posted this shit all over the place here
Depth not deepness good guess tho

Damm right son!.... my whiskey, my cigar....I do as I please and enjoy👍
Never smoked a cigar before, but am sure I treated to try it out. What do you recommend for a beginner?
Tons of great ones out there. Go with something in maybe the 6-8 dollar range. Don’t want to spend too much Incase you don’t like it. A Drew Estate Undercrown is a nice smooth smoke. Also hard to go wrong with any light wrapper Montecristo for a first try. Lots of great ones out there so hard to pick just one. 😉
If i were you don't even start dude,
start with a Connecticut in the $6-$8 range. I would recommend a Macanudo
I personally started with an Ashton Churchill. $12.50 for a longer one but it’s quite smooth and very mild. I think it’s a great introduction as you don’t have a strong taste like other cigars.
@@JeremySiers I took a business trip to China some time ago, and was able to smoke a Cuban, and it was good, but not enough better than a nicaraguan to pay the extra money (Cuban cigars are now legal in the United States when it comes to traveling abroad and bringing them back into the country for personal use.
