    • @@SteveWalsh-hx3ge Getting older is great. I get paid to be 62+ and I buy abandoned Storage units like in Storage Wars. I miss bowling but at 68 I dont have to pop I used to have when I was 30.

    • @@SarcasticStorageStacker sorry, you lost the "pop" with bowling. Here I am, 58 and a stroke survivor and, after I move from Phoenix to Wichita, I will be taking myself out on the PBA50 circuit. Now if I can just find a ball sponsor.....lol

  • I have a 90s WWF The Rock 16 lb bowling ball that was given to me when I started bowling last June. Now that I've gotten into the sport, the WWF The Rock is on my shelf as a collector's ball. The Kaboom would go great beside The Rock.

  • So i was born in 1978 and in my youth i loved Columbia's. I tried out for the ECC bowling team and unfortunately didn't make but my roommate was on the team and gave me his Columbia Pulse & Rage. I still have those balls today. I then shortly after got the Tremor & Messenger but always wanted an OG Beast. I eventually got a Beast Mode many years later. Loved that ball. Still have that too. I'm big supporter of Columbia still today. I recently dropped to 14lb and I've had to rebuild my arsenal slowly. After watching your video for the Cypher I ordered that. I thought about the Kaboom but really needed a symmetric solid more in my bag. I kept most of my old equipment from my youth but did trade some away over the years. I've recently bought some older gems i always wanted. In fact one arrived today in the mail, a Columbia Primal Rage to go with OG Black Rage. I probably wouldn't throw that beast but I would display it next to all my other OG Columbia's. Thanks for all your great video's. I'm glad you're a free agent now and can do the 7 Brands of Brunswick.

  • The original Beast was urethane and it had 5 teeth and 2 fangs on the logo. Whereas the early resin Beast has 4 teeth and 2 fangs to differ the 2. The resin Beast is a little darker purple in color.

  • Most of my best bowling was in the 80's and the 90's. I had to stop for 22yrs, but I've been back to league bowling 2 years now. I have purchased all new equipment to be competitive on today's conditions, but for my 7 pins (I'm lefty), everyone said you have to buy a plastic ball that doesn't hook. I was laughing to myself when I saw you were throwing the Beast at that spare, because that's what I'm using for my corner spares. I polished up my 25yr old, 16lb Beast and it works fine for me. Love your bowling and your content.

  • I remember these balls growing up. I heard all the "old timers" complaining about the reactive resin balls and how they are "hook in a box". Aka basically the same complaining they are now. My first true reactive ball was a falcon/R @13 (1993) after that I upgraded to the Ebonite Wolf (1995/6 era). I first learned how to throw a "hook" at 10 with a 16# fab hammer (don't ask). When I got my first ball drilled for me it was a gyro 1 urethane at 11/12 semi fingertip (because my dad threw semi finger tip). I have a nostaliga for the bowling balls of that era. I am trying to find an original Sun Storm, a Wolf (not seawolf or werewolf the original blue wolf) and a few others.

  • Old Columbia balls were awesome. I never threw this one, but I know my dad, uncle, and grandpa all had this ball. I remember them talking about it when I found one of their old balls. I'd love to have this ball just to show them for nostalgia... though honestly I might redrill and throw it, just because. This got a bit wordy, but basically what all this is really saying is "oh oh oh oh, pick me pick me!! Please please!" Only trying not to sound so desperate.... either way, if I get the ball or not, you keep being awesome and making great videos!
