Trailer starts at 2:05 - I'm not the best reactor in the world, but I want the kicking combo ability and I want it NOW
I swear to god if that kick ability is JUST an ash of war and not part of an actual martial arts based fist weapon moveset like the bone fist im gonna be heavily disappointed.
The Sekiro kick returning made me squee. Also, that perfumers bolt crossbow looks intriguing. Also, in the fight with Messmer... is our character wielding a twinblade greatshield?!

Messmer the Impaler being described as zesty is the best thing I've read all day
Messmer The Impaler is totally a twinky top.
Since messmer refers to a "mother", the narrator mentions "blood" earlier and he seems to transform blood into flame, he is probably linked to the formless mother just like Mohg. Outer gods are so intriguing I hope we get to know more about the formless mother in the dlc !
I'm still not fully aware of the lore of the other outer gods, but that makes sense. If we assume we get to the DLC via Miquella's egg/Mohg's Arena, it makes sense the DLC would have a focus on that specific Outer God
@@BillySYT there's a line spoken in the trailer about touching the withered arm to be transported to the realm of Miquella. Which seems to all but confirm that this will be an end game/ng+ dlc area accessible through Miquella's cocoon. Which also means that on a fresh playthrough, Mogh will have to be defeated to access the dlc.
Girl seeing miquella literally glowing at the end and hearing his voice is a treat. I can’t wait to actually meet him in the dlc.
I just hope we get a fun boss fight against him. I really can't tell if we're gearing up for a Miquella battle, or a Miquella ally situation

To be fair, the leather jacket is new. Bought it after I moved out last month, the beard is all normal though, you can see it some of the older videos on my channel where I put myself in the thumbnails.

The lady sitting on the throne, given her purple eyes, is likely the Gloam Eyed Queen. I think this DLC and the shadow realm will be areas under the influence of other outer gods, like the formless mother, the Gloam Eyed Queen's god, the deathrite birds god, and maybe more? I'm super excited!!
Oh, I'd love to hear more about the Gloam Eyed Queen. Given how integral she is to much of the lore, we barely get mention of her in the main game.

based on the interview eurogamer had with myazaki, he said that he will try to blend field areas and legacy dungeons more and make their transitions more seamless, this will take elden ring from my favourite game to my favouriter game, also they nailed messmer's design

So, the beastial boss that was shown, there is a lot of speculation on whether it is an omen cused beast cleric, or if it is Serosh. What's your thoughts Billy?
It does give the same vibes as Serosh. I wouldn't complain if it's perhaps related to Serosh's race? I don't think it'll be as big a deal of a boss as we think though, they never focus on the truly important lore bosses in the opening trailers, with the exception here being Messmer.
@@BillySYT I'm of the mind that it's a beast cleric cursed with Omen blood. It uses lightning, which certain beastmen could do as they communed with the dragons, it has robes similar to the beast cleric half of the Maliketh fight as well. Either way, it's quadrapedal design looks cool as hecc and even if it's a minor boss, I stan. Aside from Messmer and the thing with the boomerang blade riding on the decrepit horse, it had the most intriguing enemy design to me. Also, the spikey monster thing is a Caelid Hippoporcupine. Calling it now.
I'm SO excited for all the lore that we'll probably get!!!

$40 is a lot for a dlc (the main game is $50 most places now), but I'm willing to pay it so long as the dlc is a good size, which it seems to be. I do wish I could buy the dlc in disc form though.
It's pricy, but of any gaming company out there, FromSoft is the only one that could realistically charge that much and actually deliver on the product. They haven't had a single "bad" DLC, and most of the best content from their games come from those DLCs. At least people have until Summer to start saving.

Hmmm... If you're playing on NG+7, you're bound to have a much harder time than someone on NG or NG+. Most DLCs, people tend to play on either NG, NG+ or NG++, so it really comes down to you.
