안녕하세요, 왓섭뮤직입니다.
영상의 주인공은 Korean soul 이라고 합니다.
This is Korean soul from South Korea.
-
현재 미국에서 세계적인 가수 Bebe winans와 함께 앨범작업을 하며
미국에서 활동중인 뮤지션들입니다.
We are working on an album with world famous singer 'Bebe winans'
As you know that ..
Different face colors and different lives, But!
Just united, raising hands and praising GOD. We did it.
Bless you all.
Special thank you for sharing the video 'Waleed' from perfecting church.

    • That is one of thee most ignorant comments I’ve seen. For starters, @jarvis thomas THANK YOU. To the other individual that clearly knows very little about what these men came through and whether or not they struggled, and seems to know just as little about Korea if you really want to talk struggles… just wow. How can one make such a comment on such a post? Congratulations for continuing to be part of the problem. Good job 👍🏾

    • @@shaunward3711 and to the obvious troll I say this… do you even know what soul is? You DO NOT, people study it, listen to it, and replicate it but it is something that can NOT just be “learnt” … soul is a part of people, it is a biproduct of slavery, oppression, survival, African roots and many other things… your response was not only ignorant but it was just plain sad… no one is attacking them for being inspired by this important genre…. We are urging people LIKE YOU to stop the narrative that soul is “just a type of music” …

  • We had a Korean gospel choir came to our church a few years back. They couldn't speak English, but they knew the songs in English. They love the soul of gospel music and do their version of how the black church does. And 👏🏽 they 👏🏽 sounded 👏🏽 like 👏🏽 this!!! At first you're blown away because you don't expect it. And they know that. We all love the Lord! I appreciate that gospel music has traveled a cross the globe 20x and back.

    • The sad thing is you had to mention that you don't expect it. Why not? if you're a good cook it doesn't matter what color your skin is. it's your cooking that says who you are..same if you're a good singer. it doesn't matter your skin color, it's your singing that touches my heart just like it would be if your cooking touched my stomach. As a 52-year-old black man living here in East Texas, I listen to Korean r&b and Filipino r&b all the time. And yes black r&b singers have gotten incredibly lazy and repetitive. Today's black country and black rock singers? doing incredible work.Maybe if you're a real music fan you'll open up your mind and start listening to other music made by other people besides blacks. You can thank me later. Much love kinfolk

    • @ Eric Carraway op please correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they meant that because gospel music stylistically is linked to black culture. So it was just surprising not that they sung well, but that they sung in the black gospel style. Of course anyone can be a great musician regardless of race, but it’s surprising when a style that originated in a certain place is done well and passionately all they way across the world

    • It's actually more than that, but that's a good way to put some words to the feeling and emotions and spirit that you are seeing in action when standing up during a song. Its a testament to the song. Its a connection in your spirit to God. Its the beauty of the sounds as a melody, its the deep connection you have to the words of the song, its the beauty of the poetry to rhythm. Its a feeling in your bones & flesh thats some kind of awakening within you. There's SO much stirring in you when you in church and hear a song like this. Those are just some of the ways to describe those feelings. :)

My human owner realized that the only way to save me was to get into the pool and drown. He does it, and I stop dying. Three days later, my human walks out of the pool alive. Now, I am constantly doing special turns, swirls, flips, bubbles, and wiggles trying to show my love and appreciation. I hope you are not offended by my personal take on it. Peace and love.

  • Beautiful song, and sang beautifully. Many people in Korea are Christian. They believe in the power of the lord. I am white but go to a black church, because of the gospels being sung. I am not from the United States but from the Netherlands , we are taught the history of Slavery in school. Also spirituals and that they were at times used as a form of signaling language.

It's also a compliment as We don't tend to do this lightly especially in older generations. This isn't limited to singing or the church in Our culture. Nicely done. 👏🏾
