  • Lovin' the mods. What camera/microphone are you using? video/sound is great!

    • I’ve actually just been using an IPhone 13 for all my videos so far with no add ons.

  • I can never get the nut threaded on the rear shock with the aftermarket bushings. Even with weight on it. I always have to shave them a bit. This is on an FJ though.

  • Excellent video ! Question, do you have to change the shocks? I have seen kits with and without the shocks?

    • My shocks were original ones with almost 200k miles on them so they were blown out. My rear end was very clunky on bumps. The shocks are what make this a long travel kit since they can articulate more than the original ones.

    • So you would recommend changing the shocks since you kinda gotta take them off any way (250k don't know if they are original)? @@eriksadventurelab

    • @@608portraits9 yeah I would definitely recommend changing them if you’re doing a lift. With a lift kit you’ll get more articulation that puts the original shocks outside their working range. With that many miles if you changed shocks you’d feel an improvement in ride quality.
