  • This is the most helpful educational video I've ever seen. Interestingly, when we state "I know English as B2 or C1" actually we forget to notice that we might know grammar and maybe spoken English, but honestly we don't know these simple words like Spice Rack or Set of drawers. I found this video very informative for me and all of your work is appreciated by mine. Thank you, Vanessa!

    • yeah right, sometimes i feel like "okay, i can speak English, im a b2 or c1" , then i see a very basic object and i realize that i don't know the word for it. it is strange, i get like "what, how come you don't know what this very simple and daily-used thing is called?!" its because I've never had the need to use/know these words but they are so common and simple

    • @@reivilmaegarrido levels of someone's english. It starts at a1 and goes to c2. A1 and A2 is basic english, b1 and b2 is intermediate and c1 and c2 is advanced

  • This is what I call innovation. I really liked the format, the relaxed way it was presented, and how informative this video was. Even though I teach English, I got to pick up a few words I actually did not know. This only shows we will never know everything there is to know, and that's why we have to keep expanding our knowlege through videos like these.   • In Iranian culture it's common to have carpets and they cover all the floors (except bathroom's floor😂), So we have to put away our shoes and enter houses. We have one thing in common: we both don't have a pantry! And some other things that you didn't mention : Food processor Loundry room Egg beater Juicer Cushion Dustpan Thank you so much for this vital lesson😊🏘

  • To be honest, I never made a course of english, just learned all I know with musics, movies, series, youtube Channel and Duolingo (an app in the playstore and appstore). I really like that language, but I can't do an english course, so I study alone in my home with all ways that I can. Isn't easy, but is satisfatory watch sometin' in english and can understand 70% of video. I dream someday to be able to speak english fluently. My problem isn't speak, because I'm not shy, I like to try speak, even with my pronuciation that isn't good yet, but to me is hard understand outher people speaking... And before that I forget, I love that video! I learned so much with you today! Thanks from Brazil ❤️
