Saweetie talks Being a Boss Woman, Vulnerability, Having Nervous Breakdown, Protecting Your Energy

Hard Knock Tv's Nick Huff Barili sits down with Saweetie for in-depth interview at Truth Studios. In part 4 Saweetie and Nick talk about Saweetie's definition of being a boss woman and what success means to her. Saweetie stresses the importance of protecting your energy and not saying yes to everything. She learned this lesson after having a nervousness breakdown right before she was about to perform. Saweetie says she was saying yes to everything at the time, not getting sleep and not eating right and it all caught up to her. She now values the importance of sleep and listening to what her body is telling her she needs. Nick shares a conversation he had with Logic and the importance of needing to speak out when you need time to recharge. Both Nick and Saweetie agree that artists showing vulnerability is important for fans to see because it helps them feel like they are not alone in what they are going through.
