  • By far one of the best overlanding videos I've seen, especially because I'm trying to find a GX470. I'm glad yours isn't modded to hell and back yet that way it feels more realistic.

    • Appreciate it, my goal for it is a simple build (lift kit, bigger tires and skid plates) but who knows let see how far I can keep it going.

  • Looks like you will be adding some skid plates and rock sliders… Especially since you took off the running boards, so there’s no door edge protection. Still it’s a cool factory demo.

      @GabesGarage@GabesGarage Жыл бұрын
  • Did you use your lift control for clearance? It raises it in the back a few inches. Mine leaves fluid from under the dadiator cap. See if it's stained. It's hard to see under the plastic covers. A new cap may fix your leak ! I'm keeping mine stoch suspension. Thanks for showing me what it will do. I got stuck bad in deep snow and posted a video.

    @coondogsoutdooradventures2484@coondogsoutdooradventures24842 жыл бұрын
    • I did raise the vehicle to Hi with the lift control it was just not enough ground clearance for some of the spots. The radiator was just the original one and it start a very low leak from the seams. I already replaced the radiator with a Koyo replacement and I also got a new cap as well. I’m very happy with how they perform.

      @W4MBU@W4MBU Жыл бұрын
    • @@W4MBU so you’re saying that you’re more impressed about a samurai than a FJ80 for off-road? I know I don’t have an FJ80 I’m just curious why aren’t you impressed they come with triple lockers and differential are strong as hell I seen many people running 40s on stock diffs and axles. There’s nothing wrong with whatever you said I just don’t think that a samurai is more capable unless like I said seriously modified.
