As in any field (pun not intended), one of the fundamental principles of performance measure is what you do with the resources you have available. If you manage a team with the highest budget, you are expected to win. You must win. Anything but the title is an underachievement. So, a very simple metric would be comparing the final table to the spending table. (I'd love to see what Pep would do with Brighton and what De Zerbi would do at City.)

The new rule re the ball boys is good in my opinion . It wasn't just Leno. There have been many incidents involving ball boys over the years, the incident with hazard definitely comes to mind
Yeah, I don't see the problem with it. All players will know exactly where the next ball will be, which makes things more consistent and obviously removes the possibility of ballboys going quicker or slower and a player acting out at him.

Roberto De Zerbi is the only manager who looks like the real deal after Pep and Klopp. To take Brighton to the levels he has after Graeme Potter shows how good he is. Arteta should get there one day.
But look how poor Potter was after he left. Maybe Brighton's just got great stability which makes it easier for the manager. Not saying he's not a good manager but it's tough to judge on 1 season.
@@russellward4624 Potter was a good manager, and i can’t blame him for taking up the Chelsea role, but Chelsea were, and are still not functioning due to the number of players the chairman signed. Pochettino is a good manager but he has struggled as well.

They were asked who they Wouk prefer to play for, that is a different question. Until he gets silverware Arteta cannot be considered a great coach. Ponch was considered a great coach for Spurs when he developed a great team but did not achieve anything so they sacked him.
