    • Nick said it best. No shoes means no grip. The surface of the stage is different than actual ground. Think more cushiony gym mats. Than at the table, there is a square box that is different from the rest of the stage which is flat and slick. Very slippery to the point i was regretting taking my own shoes off cause it made such a big difference. Threw all my power and technique away.
