This video was so good and very informative. I went through three other youtubers videos on how to screen print, but Eddie was the best! My sister and I own an apparel business and we have been using Vinyl for two years, but we finally decided to switch to screen printing! we have not got the materials yet, because we wanted to educate ourselves correctly and Eddie clarified all our questions, so Eddie...Thank you! I am not even interested in screen printing and I watched the whole way through! It was thorough and one of the best How-To's I have watched! I am a screen printer and this is the most accurate video I have seen out there. Everything you did is confirming what I do. Overtime my husband who is very handy made my job easier by building a light box and a dark box for drying screens. Question, have you ever worked with puff ink?
Once you have done this, is this a permanent screen print. I'm looking at vinyl stencil also.

Am having an order to screen print on leather. The job was going on smoothly until one day the buyer wanted the print to be resistant to solvents such as white petrol. Can you kindly suggest me any workaround?

Like he said at the end, it all depends on the end goal. General you need: screen, ink, squeegee, emulsion, a t shirt, and your design. Speedball sells kits for beginners and up, I've been using one to make 1 of 1 shirts for fun and it wasn't a gigantic investment

Thank you for the video. One of the first ones I’ve seen on this topic where the person seems genuinely interested in helping others and point them in a solid direction to start. Others I’ve watched seemed like the didn’t care and almost felt like they want others to have poor information as to open the industry up more for themselves. End of the day I just want to make some cool shirts for myself and family.

Best screen printing video I have seen hands down.
Really good video. Clear, concise and no hype or BS.
I made my first (handmade) screen in my basement in 1979. Sprayed it out in the laundry room sink. The process hasn't changed much since then but your process is super refined, fast and accurate. The biggest leap forward I can see is the scoop coater. I bet the the patent holder of the scoop coater is RICH. That is one cool device but probably takes some time to learn. Really good video.
