You Won't Want To Miss THIS During The Total Solar Eclipse (3D Eclipse Timeline And Viewing Tips)
The Total Solar Eclipse is Raking Place April 8, 2024. You nee approved specialized glasses to view the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. During Totality, the skies go mainly dark in the middle of the afternoon. This is the only time it’s safe to remove eye protection.
All of the U.S. will be able to see the solar eclipse in some capacity, but totality, the main event of the total solar eclipse will be seen in a sliver from Texas to Maine on April 8, 2024.
The Devil’s comet may also be visible during totality, however only experienced astronomers should try and find it as it may not be visible to the naked eye. It will be hanging out below jupiter to the left of the eclipse. Looking near the sun with binoculars or a telescope is extremely dangerous.

To be clear. In totality only when the moon completely covers the sun…remove your approved eyewear. It will be too dark to see the cool stuff if your glasses are on. The moment totality ends with the diamond ring effect. Put your glasses back on! - Jonathan
Did you mention Pons-brook the "Devil comet"? That will be visible on that day.
Maybe the second black sun, the moon has nothing to do with it.😂

FYI: watchers will also be able to see a very rare sight during this eclipse. 12P Pons Brooks or more commonly known as Devil Comet will be passing through the skies during the alignment of the planets during the eclipse’s peak. This comet is a wandering comet and has a tail millions of miles long so the visual will be astounding. The odds of this eclipse combining with the alignment of the planets and the Devil Comet are 1/32000 years. Making this solar event one of biblical proportions.
Yes. It’s possible but it’s unclear if it will be visible yet. It’s also not advised to try and find it during the eclipse unless you know exactly where it’s at due to the proximity to the sun. - Jonathan
You see the Devil is in the background trying to disrupt God The Fathers plans, how's that worked out for him in the past. @@GladeSwope
Is it really? How is it they say the comet is the size of Houston. Houston? How the hell are we able to see anything the size of Houston from that distance? It's not a comet! It's a planet!

My last total eclipse I saw a small bird on the ground acting like it was totally hypnotized. I actually bent down and gently stroked it and it wasn’t frightened at all. As soon as the eclipse was over it flew away unharmed like nothing happened.

My grandfather taught me to fill a bucket with water and watch using the reflection. It’s awesome, I’ve done it👍🏼 The leaves showing the crescent is amazing. I recorded it once, came out very cool.
That’s a great idea! Thank you! - Jonathan
Reflects all wavelengths equally, so you are still getting a good dose of UV. You need to filter out the UV and IR, use eclipse glasses. They didn’t know that 50 years ago, you won’t really notice the permanent eye damage, but it will be there.
Thank you! awesome idea - will share.
If you film it turn the brightness down first 👍🏼
I would love to see that recording if possible. This will be the first total eclipse for me as we didn't travel for 2017. It's coming right over us in Conway, AR.
It's fun to watch birds during an eclipse. They suddenly get confused probably thinking they should be in their nests readying themselves for nighttime. They will fly around squaking like crazy looking for places to alight. And it seems to get quiet and one will notice a breeze that wasn't there before. This is the effect our sun has on daily living on this planet. We are so used to it that it takes an eclipse to jar our memories.
I wonder if the breeze is due to the temp drop in the zone while it's normal outside of it, causing pressure differences
Hahahah stupid birds.
I've seen alot of eclipses and travel alot where they happen at least every 18 months but in that 3 minutes I've never even noticed any birds having time to even notice anything.

I watched the total eclipse in 2017, it was cool. It never dawnedon me to look for other planets. What I found really cool is the funky shadows cast on everything, especially the crescent shape leaf shadows on the ground. It's wild! My most recent solar eclipse glasses were purchased online, but I checked the NASA list of approved glasses before buying them.
In the past, I have used a mirror to reflect the sun onto a wall and watched the eclipse that way.
No, that wouldn't work. You would just get a solid non-defined light being reflected. To see a reflected image, you need a pinhole camera (aka aperture or camera obscura) to reflect the light and shape. Not a mirror...
@@shonuff4951 I have done it before. The reflected image on a wall shows a reverse image of the eclipses.
Austin, TX here. I have never experienced a total eclipse like the one that's coming so it's very exciting and a little frightening all at the same time. Nature and everything in it never ceases to amaze me.
I'm in the north. This would be my 3rd. My dad cut a pin hole in a box and you r to see the shadow in the box goes over. KZhead has tricks
A little fear is healthy. Just remember two things and you'll be fine. 1. It's more afraid of you than you are of it. 2. Don't corner it, because if it feels trapped it will lash out and kill us all.
Frightening !? I would think maybe awe and wonder. This isn't the dark ages afterall. Then again we live in a country where to some segments of the population scientific facts and study don't matter. In any event, don't be scared. Just enjoy being able to experience a rare astronomical event.
I'm in Waco TX.... We ll have to exchange videos or photos see what it looks like I both areas..
I’m from Austin, TX as well. But didn’t we have eclipse just last year?
It was cool to see the eclipse back in 2017. We went to Nebraska, made it a whole vacation. In the totality, the sky looked like sunset, with the lavender next to the horizon but it went all the way around. It was beautiful! And the temp dropped about 10 degrees
We're flying to Dallas and will drive out to the countryside for the clearest skies. Fingers crossed for good weather. I watched the 2017 event from the high desert of Oregon right on the center line. I can say that anything less than totality doesn't cut it. The world changes in an instant like someone flipped a giant light switch. It was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life.

Well, all is not lost if you miss this one in April in your area because sometimes there are 5 to 7 total eclipses in a year. Usually at least one every 18 months but you have to travel other areas to see them. The total eclipses happen only in a 90 mile wide path though these areas though. I've traveled often and seen alot of total eclipses and I am 59.

When I was a kid, my mom filled a large wide bowl with water. When the eclipse happened, we could see it reflecting onto the water in the bread bowl.

Great Call Out! When I went to see the total solar eclipse in 2017, I looked around right before totality (the few minutes before). The shadowing effect had a VERY surreal appearance! Live in mesquite Nevada. It's started. I can see the beginning of the Sun being eaten by the moon, awesome beautiful weather. Outsitting on a lawn chair enjoying the view. Everyone out there😊 Have a great day.

LUCKY! - Jonathan
The crescent shadows can be seen more clearly with just a white sheet of paper. I discovered this as a teen while sitting on the picnic table under a tree while writing when an eclipse was occurring. FYI It was so cool.
Good point! Thats really cool! - Jonathan
Such a waste….unless you’re doing both??? I mean we do see shadows every day
@@rdtownsend9mm your reply makes no sense. What is a waste? Yes, we see shadows every day. What's your point?

The Return of the King Channel (not lotr) gives a very interesting perspective on the eclipses.
If it's not about science then it isn't relevant ✅

Yes the return of the king is awesome truth and facts . Jesus is coming to take us home for thoso who believe. 1 corthians 15 1-4 Jesus is the only way to Heaven. God's judgment and warnings and signs are here. Pray and repent now Jesus is at the door 🚪 🙏🏻 watching and waiting ❤❤❤
