    @jimmyabayon8307@jimmyabayon830710 ай бұрын
    • Yes, I agree with your analogy regarding Russia thinking that Ukraine was "a sitting duck, (but) that duck turned out to be an eagle." Russia was the recipient of, and a party to the agreements whereby most of the military hardware and air-force planes, including SU-95 heavy bombers were transferred from Ukraine to the Russian Federation following Ukraine's independence. Many of these military and air-force units have since been used by Russia against Ukraine since 2014. Russia, despite claiming that they were going to "de-militarise" Ukraine, knew full well that Ukraine had been militarily neutered following the transfer of most of their weapons to Russia. Presumably Russia believed, while they would have known that Ukraine had been involved in NATO training exercises and operations with NATO Alliance troops, that they had very few other weapons, tanks and transport vehicles. Apart from such weapons as the shoulder mounted NLAWS, the Russians would have considered the Ukrainians would be virtually impotent against the Russian military, air-force and navy. So, even the claim that they wanted to de-militarise Ukraine, among the other false claims, was a sham. "Tupolev Tu-95 From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Tu-95 Tu-95MS Bear H RF-94130 off Scotland in 2014 Role: Strategic heavy bomber; National origin: Soviet Union; Manufacturer: Tupolev; First flight: 12 November 1952; 70 years ago; Introduction: 1956; Status: In service; Primary users: Russian Aerospace Forces; Soviet Air Forces (historical); Soviet Navy (historical); Ukrainian Air Force (historical); Produced: 1952-1993; Number built: >500; Variants: Tupolev Tu-114; Tupolev Tu-142; Tupolev Tu-95LAL; Tupolev Tu-116 "The Tupolev Tu-95 (Russian: Туполев Ту-95; NATO reporting name: "Bear") is a large, four-engine turboprop-powered strategic bomber and missile platform. It is expected to serve the Russian Aerospace Forces until at least 2040. • 9 days before the war started, Zelensky stepped up his shelling of Russian civilian residences to more than 1 shell per minute. To stop the war, all he needs to do is meet Puting's 2 demands: retract his commitment to either go NATO or go nuclear, and stop shelling the Russian civilians and honour the signed Minsk protocol instead. But this is really not about the Ukraine or even Russia. In 2007 Putin made a speech at an international conference in Moscow in which he made his opposition to the New World order clear. It is for this reason, and this reason alone, that the deep state are using the Ukraine, close to the heart of Russia and able to control her only two warm water ports to sell her oil exports to fund her military, to drive a stake into her heart, or, as it transpires, force her to defend herself and her people. While Russia stands against the deep state she will always be a refuge and and ally for the people of the world who are soon to suffer under the coming tyranny. Therefore she must go. The deep state is also accomplishing 2 side goals by sending financial aid to the Ukraine: massive theft of the people's assets so that by 2030 you will own nothing, and massive increase in deep state power via the kickbacks from Zelensky sharing the loot via bitcoin. If you find all this hard to swallow then you simply haven't read widely enough. But don't worry, you won't miss it. It will likely kick off with Pandemic 2.0 scheduled for 2024. That other action item for this year is to get those pesky guns out of the hands of Americans because then the USA cannot be a refuge either.

    • The U.S. will finally get to experience war. From 2018, the planning of WWIII. “A bipartisan commission appointed by Congress issued a lengthy report Tuesday backing the Pentagon’s plans to prepare for a “great-power” war against Russia, China, or both, making clear that the Trump administration’s belligerent policies are shared by the Democratic Party. Safe in the knowledge that its findings will never be seriously reported by the mass media, the authors of this report do not mince words about what such a war will mean. A war between the United States and China, which according to the report might break out within four years, will be “horrendous” and “devastating.” The military will “face greater losses than at any time in decades.” Such a war could lead to “rapid nuclear escalation,” and American civilians will be attacked and likely killed. It is impossible to understand anything in American politics without recognizing one fundamental reality: the events and scandals that dominate political discourse, which make it onto the evening news and into headlines on news sites and social media feeds, have precious little to do with the considerations of those who actually make decisions. The media talking heads play their assigned roles, knowing that the most important topics can be discussed only within very circumscribed limits. Those who actually make policy-a select group of high-ranking members of Congress, Pentagon officials, and think-tank staffers, as well as White House aides-speak an entirely different language among themselves, and in publications they know the general public will not read, and the media will not seriously report.

And yet, the commentariat accepts the premise knowing nothing, understanding nothing. Any discontent in Russia is centered around the *conduct* of the war, not justification of it. Most Russians understand that their country has been lied to and targeted by the West, and the Ukraine's existence was transformed by these interests into an existential threat to Russia. Unfortunately, with interviews and "journalism" like this, very few people in the West have any idea of the reality.

    • How was Ukraine joining the EU an existential threat to Russia?

      @awf6554@awf655410 ай бұрын
    • @@awf6554 It's a matter of perception. Assuming for the moment that your question is genuine, think of the U.S. reaction to the deployment of intermediate range ballistic missiles in Cuba in 1962. Did the U.S. simply accept this, or was there a more serious and dangerous reaction? That's a rhetorical question, obviously. To the point: Read Putin's speeches going back to the Munich Security Conference in 2008, as I have. In every major security speech since then, there is a singular theme: Ukraine cannot join NATO, because that would mean NATO could deploy hypersonic missiles within range of Russia's nuclear deterrent, which would give the Russian government only about 5 minutes to respond to a launch. This threat is stated over and over again in virtually every major speech, and was also cited in the February 24, 2022 speech. At no point in the history of these major speeches did any major country of the West even acknowledge these concerns, much less de-escalate. Few people in the West are aware of the nature of Russia's perception of the West, because they are so badly misinformed. We now know, and the Russians know, that the West never had any intention of requiring Ukraine to adhere to the Minsk Agreement(s), and that these undertakings were merely a device to flood Ukraine with weapons from the West - a few Western politicians involved in the negotiations admitted all of this. Beyond all of this, and equally disturbing to Russians are several things I don't have time to get into, but briefly: 1) There are certain Western think tanks which have continually proposed for decades the breakup of the Federation into smaller states; 2) A significant lean towards open fascism in Ukraine; 3) Publicly stated proposals in Ukraine to ethnically cleanse the Donbass and Crimea; 4) The ongoing shelling of civilian targets in Donbass since 2014, mainly against people of Russian ethnicity. This is not even a complete list of the major issues every Russian is aware of with respect to Ukraine. If you bring all of these things together, it's not hard to imagine why many Russians perceive an existential threat to Russia as a state and society with Ukraine a key component of that threat. /end.

This is for the UN and NATO countries to raise a multi million or even a billion dollars reward money for the head of the War Criminal Putin, dead or alive. It will be the Russian soldiers themselves close to him who will do the job. This must be done before said criminal will use nuclear bombs against those who stand against him. There is no other way.

  • Isn't it interesting how the detractors here can't defend their idol's actions? It's as if they know going head to head on morals and ethics will leave them bludgeoned and paralysed, so all they do is attack the messenger(s).

  • As much as the Kremlin try to ridicule Britain they obviously take us seriously and to some extent fear us, the Russian elite dare not attack the US like this but are trying to break Britain's support for Ukraine. They know if Britain stops supporting Ukraine the rest of Europes will, will crumble.

  • The title is misleading. On the whole Russians are not rejecting this war. The phrase or word reject means that someone or a group of people in this case have come together to either publicly or physically taken a stand. That has not happened. So I rejected the Clickbait title of this KZhead interview.

    • Is that why half a million of them left when a mobilisation occurred. I don't think so. I think State run propaganda news channels, no free press has the more senior population fooled. But not the younger. Fear of what will happen to them if they say anything outside of the government propaganda ruins any true indication of how Russian population really feels. 200,000 dead Russian soldier estimates they all have relatives. young people have VPN's

  • Drones are gonna mess up. Drones should be all tagged from now on. If one is used then they can track and ask are you the owner etc. And if not then a big trace happens and new tax money. And this way no Alien or Unknown drones.

  • Not only is it unthinkable to use nukes (someone will do a Ceausescu on Putin if he reaches for the button - Russians love their kids too), it is also unrealistic when you consider that Russia's well known curruption has also rendered its early warning system unreliable. Someone creamed off the cash and used dodgy components with the result that they can fire off their missiles, but can't see any coming back at them. Saw an item on this a little while ago. The bluff is guff, therefore. I am also not convinced that a "blitz mentality" will develop in Russia as a result of being under attack. That is reserved for those who have not been subjugated and stifled for so many years. They are indifferent and, I expect, almost impossible to motivate. They will watch the regime topple on the news, then switch over to their favourite game show.
