  • No one can put feelings and observations into words quite like Leonard Cohen. In my youth, his music was my test of people because he only ever got two reactions - those who listened and those who became hostile and told me to turn it off. Those who listened were kind. Those who reacted badly either didn't have feelings, or were not prepared to acknowledge them and needed to be avoided at all costs.

  • I saw the film McCabe and Mrs Miller in the early 70's and was completely surprised that they had used leonard's first album as the soundtrack! One of the few concerts i've ever gone to was to see him in Milwaukee in 1975. He was primal! I was able to see one of his last concerts in Chicago, and he was such an honest, authentic person.

Twoja muzyka budziła we mnie wrażliwość i nieznane przeczucia: miłości, prawdy, piękna.
