In General, I'm not the biggest fan of Ultimate Combinations that pointedly leave out parts of the base mecha; it just feels _wrong_ sidelining the zords that've been with the team since the beginning. Go-Buster King is the one of the few exceptions to this rule. It's an alternative to Great Go-Buster, rather than an outright stronger combination. Using the Tategami Li-Oh as a base, in lieu of Go-Buster Ace, adds _utility_, the ability to combine in the field, rather than outright power. In a show like Go-Busters, which highlights the importance of the machines as individual components (there's strength in numbers, combining doesn't somehow create a robot greater than the sum of it's parts, it predominantly focuses it onto a single target), this makes a LOT of thematic sense. Also, taking out the a bulk of the red, and adding more blue and gold, just makes for a cleaner color palette overall.

Imagine if FS-0O was in Beast Morphers as an Auxiliary Zord and it would be known as the Submarine Zord. And the Megazord Combination between the Racer Zord, Wheeler Zord and FS-0O would be Beast X Megazord Frog. And I think that Beast Morphers should have made Blaze and Roxy as Rangers, with Blaze being the Lion Ranger and Roxy being the Frog Ranger. But that didn’t happen, because FS-0O stays in Japan.

I don’t like the designs from this season but I can forgive it for the attention they give to the robots. They do a lot to show the scale and power, and it really feels like piloting buster machines is a privilege you need to earn. I think thats very cool.

パワーアップスーツとかもあって好きな作品の一つだった。 ただワガママ言わせてもらえれば、タテガミライオーも含めた全合体があると嬉しかった。
CB-01と同じく単独でロボに変形するタイプだから、丸ごと余ったりする事が無いのが高評価ポイント。

まぁ、元々は亜空間突入用の合体だったはずですしね。
レッドバスターがメインパイロットで強い負担がかかるから亜空間に突入後は即座に必殺技で仕留めにかかるのがいつもの流れ

懐かしいなあ。自分、ヒーローファン仲間と話してた時、仮面ライダーウィザードがレッドバスターの代わりにゴーバスターキングを操縦させる事を考えたら、おかしいでしょ、魔法物(ウィザード)がメカ物(ゴーバスターズのロボを操縦)って言われたことありましたわ。
追加戦士の迅さんのキャラ位置がおいしすぎなんだよな。初期メンバー年長者であるリュウさんの憧れの先輩。司令である黒リンと同期。ヨーコの母親との関係。関係性オタクに目覚め始めていた当時、非常に刺激的なキャラだった。 てか、ゴーバスターズて作品、迅さんが入ってくるまでの雰囲気、表面的に真面目なキャラが多いなかヨーコの子供っぽさやバディロイドのコミカルさが悪目立ちしててきらいじゃないけど好きにもなりきれずにいたから、迅さん加入のテコ入れ以降は、おもしろさに説得力が出てきて、完走するころにはかなり好きな作品になったんだよなぁ〜
