Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.[1] The eighth main and tenth overall installment in the Tekken series, the game is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
According to director Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 8 gameplay will focus on "aggressiveness" and will have a new "Heat" gauge system, in addition to returning gameplay features from Tekken 7, such as Rage system-based attacks, with the Rage Drive having been separated and reworked as a Heat system-based move known as Heat Smash, leaving the Rage State that can only have an access to use Rage Art once more like prior to the Fated Retribution version of Tekken 7. The gameplay will reward aggressiveness rather than those who "turtle up". Similar to Soul Charge state from Soulcalibur VI, the Heat State grants not only chip damage and additional move sets, but also changes the properties of some characters’ move sets, such as a heavy guard break. Fighters can also dash cancel their designate moves into the Heat State, similar to MAX Mode from The King of Fighters series. The Heat State’s timer can be stopped if fighters’ move sets are being used

Nina is a fucking plastic paddy XD
Assassins like Nina can train themselves to lose their accent. And maybe Xiaoyu was raised in Japan
@SylvainCosmos Yeah, but what's funny is that around the time they announced tekken 7, I think they were proud to say that characters would be voiced by people from their respective countries. But still certain characters remained a certain way. Coming from a country where some people try to change their accent to sound better, I get it, doesn't stop it from being weird and phoney though.
King is Mexican and he couldn't speak human language
@@jongmingu8098 Bro speaks Jaguar for kayfabe
Explanation on why they speak a different language Xiaoyu: grew up in japan seen in Tekken 3. Her grandfather who was playable speaks Chinese Law: based on Bruce lee Nina: like her sister she's a international assassin were her true accent had been overlapped in time. Lars: half-japanese Lee: originally from china but got adopted to the Mishima family and can also speak fluent English Alisa: Her language is set to Japanese
Bonus: why king just roars is part of being mysterious. Like the original king, he just roars however he grew up at an orphanage in Mexico where he idolize the original king.
Law speaks English though (it's just his battle cries that sound like Bruce Lee). He's good friends with Paul.
And safina ? Why she speak English?
@@enguelberthbernal5341 Zafina is a member of a secret organization & speaks English to hide her background. Harada said on his twit
I always have a hard time to accept that lars is from Sweden when heihachi is his father and dude speak only japanese
Ethnically he is half Japanese, half Swedish but he was born in Sweden so that's how it is.
I meam Xiaoyu is Listed as Chinese but almost nothing would indicate that aside from her martial art and the game explicitly saying so.
KIng is from Mexico but he don't even speak spanish, indeed he don't even speak, he just do "GRRRR" all the time.
I have a harder time accepting that Nina is from Ireland
@@Raliuga999but his physique and outfits represent that very well
Pretty sure jack 8 is from Russia
On its body there is an inscription in Russian "ВОСЕМЬ", which translates as eight
Until model 2, then from 4 to 8 is either build by G Corp or Mishima, it's Russian only in the name now
Author is afraid that he'll be banned for russian flag and Dragunov as he is definitely russian
the name is jack but is it from russia? not make sense
You didn't show Sergei Dragunov and his flag!

He's so fine!
Kinda confused. Xiaoyu is from China and Lars is from Sweden and yet they speak clear Japanese. ^^’
And king speaks in roarnese
Xiaoyu is studying in Japanese high school, it's not a miracle for Chinese to learn Japanese, they got the advantage because of Kanji
That’s pretty cool, didn’t realize Xiaoyu was speaking Japanese this whole time.
i mean a lot of people speaks english despite never set foot in an english speaking country
by the way even Lee Chaolan is Chinese, but as a an adopted son by Heihachi he speaks Japanese, Lars being related to Mishima he probably grew speaking Japanese
The announcers voice scared the hell out of me.
Irritante!!🙄
Nina never had an Irish accent, sad 😢
There is only half ot T8 chars. where Reina, Victor, Azucena, Feng, Jun, Lee, Yoshimitsu etc?
I always thought that Lili was French but her personality makes sens

@@gryla5290Monaco is a rich country
There's a ton missing though.
I can't understand why they give so much priority to creating American characters. The number of American characters is huge in this franchise.
Who cares about them
Because we're more important than whatever shithole country you're from
i guess because there is a war.
Why should that matter when this is a video game for people to enjoy?
Target audience is American
Didn't know Nina was Irish
Especially Anna
Then why she dont spoke Gaelic?
@@protocetus499 she's an assassin, and her accent is the way it is because of the fact that assassins usually are well travelled and can on occasion understand/speak other languages. Or at least that's the way I'm interpreting it.

Nina Nationality: Ireland Accent: American Me: WTF I thought she’s American, but seriously she should really have an Irish accent if she’s really from Ireland, that goes the same for Anna as well
Maybe because they are JAPS they dont really care about the accent, or maybe its just hard to find Irish VA in japan.
Nah that would sounds trash on them
@@salieri89 no offense to anyone i do like it too but cmon look at nina and anna how they looks if they speaks with accent it would sound weird and their dialogs and catch phrase won't sounds as powerful
The excuse was that since Nina and Anna are international spies they want to keep their home country a secret
Maybe it’s bc she moved to America and grew up with an American accent. Idk the lore of Nina. I can tell you I knew someone personally who had a British accent and then already got their American accent a year later.

Hwoarang's face looks strange in this game.
Nina’s voice is so American i couldn’t tell she was meant to be Irish. Bad casting, or was this deliberate?

In this game, China is very disappointed. Chinese martial arts, but with an American character.
At least we have Feng and maybe Xiaoyu
Feng and Wang: *Cough*
Xiaouyu is chinese but spoke in japanes? lmao
20 years late. It's because she was raised in Japan most of her life
a lot of the non japanese characters also spoke japanese pretty sure its just the language setting on it is set to japanese for the characters
@@chicken1459No, what unique about Tekken is most characters speaks their own language. There's no such thing as Japanese audio language. Some of the exception has their own backstory, Xiaoyu Grew up in Japan with Jin, Lars is a half japanese and is Heihachi's son.

Why doesn't all the character in Tekken speak English and the reason for why i ask it's because it's very hard to understand them and even with the subtitles it's still hard to understand them so can you please at least try to make it easier for us fans to understand the characters in fact we love the game but one downside about it is that no one speaks English in it at all and that's a problem that needs to be fixed.
Tekken is a confusing game. And canonically all the characters understand eachother just fine.
