The blood curdling screaming in the audience....my god lol. This is the first time I have noticed them adjusting the sound of the audience (down) and turning up the sound of the band when a guest walked onstage.
It’s just like Frank Sinatra or Beatlemania or Timothée Chalamet or any number of situations where the girls scream for the boys.
@@davidserlin8097 no, they did it for Cecily Strong too, and after the monologue, when Seth listed the guests. Must have been just a few very excited/excitable people.
They have lately toned down the audience in favor of the band during the guest walkout. It's a bit jarring, but pleasant.

I like that Seth doesn’t lie and pretend like he’s watched everything someone is promoting. It’s always felt disingenuous when hosts act like they’re the biggest fan of everyone that comes on the show.

It felt very strange to hear Seth say "Red, White & Royal Blue," but I'm super excited to see Nicholas got to be on the show! I enjoyed the interview and hope to see him on again.
Wonderful to see Nicholas! "Mary and George" looks so good, though it may emotionally break me. I'm really looking forward to "The Idea of you," even more. I hope someday soon to see his "Red, White, and Royal Blue" co-star Taylor Zakhar Perez on with Seth too. By the way, anyone who hasn't watched 😍"Red, White, and Royal Blue"😍 on Amazon Prime because it came out during the strike so Nicholas and Taylor couldn't promote it, I HIGHLY recommend it... It instantaneously became one of my favorite movies ever. There are valid reasons why it went #1 worldwide even in countries that have severe anti-gay laws. It's a beautiful RomCom with emotional moments that touch the audience's heart. ❤💟💙
And it really lives through the two main stars - to be honest, some of the dialogue is really trite, but they manage to sell it through sheer talent, charme and charisma. Especially Nicholas' facial expression come across as so genuine, I'm sure he'll be one of the great ones in his generation.
Much of the dialog is from the book. Director López promised an honest film and to me he delivered. It was better than the book. But he also tried to keep the book fans happy. When Alex and Henry are in bed together after the dance in the museum, just before it cuts away, Henry closes his eyes and smiles. That smile said so much.

I was exposed to Nick in Purple Hearts with his american accent and was shook to find out he was British. I met him and he is so sweet, calm and charming with fans. An energy that is refreshing. He deserves it all 💜. I find it precious this is his first late night 🥺🫶🏻
