Word is that Kadri doesn't have to pay for an apartment or hotel when he visits St. Louis, because he lives there rent free for the rest of his life.
Still get teary everytime I watch any video of the Avs winning the cup
Same brotha
Right with ya there
Same bro. I still can’t believe it
same man it feels like it happened yesterday it feels like a fever dream
Same
Watching as the Avs just started the 23-24 season. That Cup run was one of the most fun times of my life. For me the emotions really hit a new high after they finally won round 2. When the Avs won the Cup, that went down as my favorite sports memory all-time.
Dude just the cherry on top. When I was 15 it was Game 7 2020, and Namestikov scored the lead taking goal, I told my Dad WERE GOING TO THE CONFERENCE FINAL. And 10 seconds later we gave up a goal and then when we had to leave the house I pleaded to stay home and watch the rest of the game, and not even 3 minutes later I lie there on the floor bent just in tears because we got eliminated, that shit broke my heart into 20 million pieces. And when Helm scored nearly 2 years later. I refused to say those 6 words. I just yelled and jumped up and down for that goal. I couldn’t believe it with my own eyes
You can really see the Avs depth start to come alive as the playoffs went along. The big guys Mack and Landy in the NSH series, Nuke and Kadri in the Blues series, Compher, Rants, and Lehkonen in the EDM series, and literally everyone in the Finals against Tampa. The 2022 Avalanche were an absolute wagon, nobody was stopping them
I see Landeskog lift the cup for about the fiftieth time and I still want to cry with emotion. I will always remember the year 2001. 🥰❤
Cale Makar is a real life cheat code I love watching that kid play. From a Hawks fan boys good job!
16-4 cup run was incredible. This was the most dominant playoff run I've ever seen. The Nashville series was like if Tyson fought an infant 🤣. Let's go it again! #GoAvsGo
And the scary part is if they had a top grade goaltender for their entire run they could’ve easily been 16-2. Kuemper cost them 2 games. And what if the goal they got called back in game three of the finals stood? They were correct to call it back it was a whopping 1 inch offsides but if that stands could Colorado have won that game? It would’ve been amazingly hilarious to see the controversy if Kadri‘s goal in game four was to complete a sweep.
And the most dominant SC Finals game we’ve ever seen was game 2. Avs looked like they were skating downhill.
7-0 against back to back champs as well
Beautiful highlights. The players made me happy to win the Stanley Cup after 21 years since 2001. Colorado Avalanche forever! I greet the fans in the USA from Central Europe / Czech Republic / the city of Brno
Go Avs! Also I saw a Komety game when I studied in Brno! So much fun.
So much of that offense goes through makar he's an absolute amazing player
This playoffs made me get back in to hockey again I was cheering for the avs since round one and I'm so happy they won the cup.
Avs are just beast mode.
they really are
It’s amazing that the Avs had a long home winning streak and one of the best home records this season and 3 out of their 4 losses in the playoffs were at home.
2 of those 4 losses were in clinching game 5s at home against Tampa and St. Louis. Seems like they had more pressure to close it out at home in front of their fans
omg 9:55
we had 4-7 goal games and back to back hat tricks
I’ve been watching hockey a long time. I’m almost 30. The goal Mack scored against the blues… I’ve never seen anything like it. This dude is doing that at the highest level possible. Against other grown men who are also good enough to be in the nhl.
I still remember cogliano’s shootout goal at the world Jr’s like it was yesterday.
Nashville wasted 8 days of Colorado's time, Binnington couldn't stop a beach ball, Mike Smith played goal the Mike Smith way and Colorado skated circles around Tampa...CONGRATS to the Avalanche...4 losses in 20 games...talk about an absolute beast...
Actually Binnington for St. Louis was very good for 2 games forcing a 1-1 split through 2 games. He then got hurt early in game 3. St. Louis was tough.
So many goals which would be season highlights for other teams, and the Avs make them look routine.
The blues series was still the hardest. That was a great series.
@26:38 -- "Makar fittingly....battling for the puck in the corner" Certainty came right then
Loved it! CHAPMS!!!!!!!!!!
U are the king :)
This series was lost by Smith and Smith alone! He could not stop the puck if it was a tire!!LMAO
Go Avs Go baby!!!!
Thank you for this!!!
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed
@@sportskid7124 this ones better then the NHL version because you have replays and the clips have the announcers reactions.
@@chrisstopher2277 Thank you I appreciate that!
still doesnt seem real , but sure love smiling everytime those big goals happened
the avs were absolutely dominant, sucks to see my oilers get steamrolled like that but they were just a different caliber this year. better than seeing the lightning win again imo
This shit is gonna give me chills until the day I die
Game 1 was the game I decided to follow the Avs "just for the playoffs"... Now two years later, I guess it's still the playoffs 😂
Every time I see MacKinnon’s hat trick goal against the blues I get so angry at Darcy Kuemper because if it wasn’t for that buffoon that would be one of the greatest goals in NHL history. With what MacKinnon and the team had gone through to have that goal be the one to send them to the conference finals would have been perfect.
Dude seeing it again now I feel the same way. They need to highlight that play a lot more. This was before keumper got stabbed in the eye. I dont remember that blues goal or what exactly happened.
@@chrisstopher2277 Kuemper got the stick in the eye against the predators…or at least the first one.
@JABoyle3875 for sure I mixed it up with the Edmonton game where he pulled himself out and it was like 8-6 or something.
After every loss I cone back here and remind myself the Avs won the Cup last year. It’s getting late early in 2023....
I predict that the Avs will sneak into the playoffs and then dominate everyone again
Makar, 2nd goal of the game, Game 2, Makar converts for the touchdown! 7-0 Colorado!
Man I love seeing them put pucks past Lil’ Bitchington.
I love the avalanche goal horn❤
“Rantanen a good two way player.” You think, Panger? 😂
@11:56. That look in Sakic's eye... do you think he knew at that moment that there was nothing that was going to stop this team after that series clinching goal? I always looked at it as if he wanted to vomit. But seeing the rest of the run, and sleeping on it, I'm not so sure.
i,m drunk i havea ashit eating grin lol
13:17 To this day, I'm still wondering how that goal even counted in the first place.
Because it was a delayed offsides situation. Good goal.
The kid at 28:32 is such a legend
Awesome to see
23:53 and the 2 Avs fan who jumped up and knew we won before everyone else.
@@jeromilittle Yeah, love that.
Just to see my blues lose at last second was heartbreaking
Avalanche made a resounding statement with 5 goals in the opening period of the playoffs. Made it clear to everyone that they were going to be tough to beat.
2022 was the best year of the NHL yet. You had Asshill fired, and this Avs team saved the league along with the 2014 Spurs, 2014 Patriots, 2016 Cubs, and 2017 Warriors. And also they foiled Bettman's plans of putting his Bolts in the class of the 90's Bulls and Early 2000's Lakers and Cryer in the class of the greatest coach ever Phil. Now to get rid of Crymie, Queen James, Harvey Daye Jr., John Fenner, Dave Livingston, Radio Host Joe Walsh, Crybaby Casey, Boring Gibby, and Obnoxious Shep in exchange for Don Miller, Bob Saget, Norm Macdonald, Gilbert Gottfried, etc. Most overrated players ever(man children/actors): Crymie and Queen James. Greatest athletes ever: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Miguel Cabrera, David Ortiz, and Tiger Woods. Worst commentators ever: Kirk Gibson, Matt Shepard, Joe Buck, George Blaha, Johnny Kane, Greg Kelser, Jason Strayhorn, Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson, Fred McLeod, Austin Carr, Tom Hamilton, Marv Albert, Brent Musburger, Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Ralph Lawler, Grant Napear, and Mike "Doc" Emerick. Не удивительно, что Кубок выиграла команда, где нет ни одного русского игрока. русские имеют обыкновение обделаться в самый ответственный момент. Да и смотреть русских лузеров не интересно.
