At the very least it's visual treatment turned off. However both look like ass anyway so it's not like it matters too much. Importing the x360 visual treatment parameters does wonders, even without the x360 shaders.

I recently bought a copy of the 360 version just because it's hard to find (in Australia) and got it for a good price too.
I just wish it didn't run like hot garbage on modern hardware... Seriously, 3.2 beta is super taxing on the GPU causing frequent performance issues on a RTX 2070. 😵

Hey, thanks for featuring Plak Graphics in your video! On 3:40, these huge light flares are actually like that due to a conflict with one of your texture mods. They are supposed to look quite different in Ultimate Edition. Consider deleting or renaming the 'NextGenGraphics' folder to fix this.

I'm combining Redux 3.0, Xbox360 GUI, Retex, PlakMP (modified), and Reshade (using from the Hot Pursuit Challenge settings) to make Rockport Summer vibe. Overkill? Yes. Hits that summer Vibe? Yes.

@@zuzukyd Update: it used to work back if I have the older rehshade. This is back when I wasn't updating the reshade. And the new reshade arent compatible with PlakMP (I think it was about the C++ if im not mistaken). I'm not quite sure which one is breaking the reshade but Redux 3.0 and PlakMP is working fine as for now. Any maybe use other mods which is better imo. My approach back then is took all the texture (NFS RETEX by CiPHER), and put the texture in the folder "NEXTGENGRAPHICS" and change all settings at the TexturePackInfo.json. I don't remember which mod but I think it's the Xbox360 visual mod. A "stable" approach but tedious to do. I don't recommend to do it.
Pretty sure Vanilla footage isn't even running at highest possible settings, making the comparisons a bit unfair if you ask me.

the problem with ultimate edition that you have seperate NEXTGENGRAPHICS folder which contains flare images that causes the problem when you change the name of the folder problem should be fixed
these mods are cool and all, but just to avoid the hassle of modding this game, i emulate the 360 version which i still have the original disc for

7:09 lol you showed the Retex mod all bugged with the street and sky black 😅 I tried it (it's hard to install correctly thou) and it's one of the most beautiful texture mods I've tried for this game, it actually looks similar to the Remastered 6:33 but with reworked and very detailed street textures, it also includes a "Time of the day" slider

I have Problems installing the retouch by Pain mod. Everything goes fine until I try to get to the world map, free roam or any race. Even with the AMD fixes, as I have a AMD Radeon RX 6700 RT, once adding any of them even the menu turns entirely black and I can literally only see the cars themselves, no backround. Same then again once trying to get to world map I'm just crashing. Is there any Tutorial on how to install it ?
Out of topic: Man, I was wondering if you don't mind sharing your setting for the screen recorder and which software you use to record the gameplay.. I used OBS but the recording result is nowhere near your video and it takes a lot of storage room.. 3 minutes recording of gameplay can take up to 3GB. Do you have references?

Try the following combination: - MW Eternal + SourceLighting - xbox rain droplets - NFS HD content support - NFS HD Reflections (by Aero) - NFSMW Recompiled vynils - NFSMW Remastered UI - NFSU-U2-MW_NewExhaustFlameTextures It will look and feel exactly like original MW but on steroids. Maybe overall a bit more on the sunset orange side rather than piss-yellow, but that's for the better imo.
Could you explain how to remove the addon cars safely from NFS Most Wanted 2005 which were installed with Vilted and Binary mods !
update 1.3 and widescreen fix looks best, looks like xbox 360 and due to pc powers the reflections are on point

The redux version 3.0 mod might be best graphics mod of nfs most wanted 2005 because it looks impressive, upgrade textures, lighting, visuals, skybox, attention to detail, and so much more.☺️
There's a mod called nfs most Wanted Ultimate Edition made by a Brazilian, he added more difficulty to the races, new tracks, lots of content in the game

Nice video but let’s be honest. Vanilla is is showed with very low settings. If you change to High is gonna be imbroved but not like XBOX 360.

I installed ReduxV3, and it is very poorly optimised compared to the feedback i saw online. The game would barely hit 60 fps and the menu would work at like 2 - 5 fps. Any solutions?
Hmm idk mine runs just fine. Make sure you’re using the latest widescreen fix.

i went back to 2.3 version. also he went haywire on branding. most wanted logo swapped with redux logo looks odd

Plak also includes the HRT textures by Pain. $9 for all of that effort, and consistent updates is absolutely worth it. You can even run Reshade on top of it. Hands down it's the best, and if I'm going to spend my precious valuable time replaying an old video game, I rather pay for it. Don't be cheap my friends. Support your modders.

Plak is just 🤢🤮 , 5$ for some dogwater modern look , i would rather go with redux if i want to with modern look for mw , for og graphics latest rework+reshade is the best remaster u can get.
Retouch graphics is better looking than redux imo, and it's open source. But I agree about Plak
@@draftofspasiba2 Redux uses Retouch graphics, i think the problem is some messed up VltEd values because the game still looks weird even after improvements. But after all i think you can manually copy the settings from a normal black edition copy into VltEd Redux to make the Retouch look like it should.

You guys need to move on from this ancient game at once ffs! It's not like there's any fun to be had in this game in today's time so why are people obsessing over this garbage still is beyond me. On the other hand, I'd have loved to see a thriving community for something like a Shift2Unleashed which is truly groundbreaking in many respects-- just needs some AI tweaks and it can give current-gen sims a run for their money.
