Join DarkViperAU and the racing maestro, Broughy1322, as we take on the electrifying challenge of "Gfred Survival" in GTA Online! Dive deep into the heart of Los Santos as we navigate through 5 treacherous checkpoints with the entire lobby on our tail, attempting adrenaline-fueled kamikazee strikes!     • @@andrej7825 people who are offended seem to forget that Matt is Australian, not American. 9/11 was seen globally, but affected the U.S. the most. In all seriousness it was a devastating event and people were affected... that being said, humor is subjective and there's more than enough dark humor around a lot of terrible events or experiences.

  • The fact that The DarkViper thought of an optimal strategy, found the best vehicle for chilliad, found the optimal rout to chilliad, AND gave the 9F the 9F Broughy treatment all while being his first time, makes him The DarkViper. Best duo ever. Can't wait to see him do an actual Gfred run.

    • @@kevinm.n.5158 Gfred is a race that Broughy's crew does that's become a staple of his channel and is a cult classic. It's got a lot of its own in jokes and references on its own. 9F is an AWD sports car that spawns naturally in traffic, so great top speed AND great off road traction, and one of the few naturally spawning cars that has that combo of traits. This makes it incredibly powerful in Gfred which has a healthy mix of both on road and off road sections, so good that it's been banned for specific variants of Gfred like weather variants. It's not uncommon for Broughy to manage to trash his 9Fs when he gets them and to my knowledge he generally prefers the Infernus. Chiliad is a difficult segment of the race because you come at it from such odd angles, and it has so few easily climbable sections that it's hard to do both quickly (competitive relative to Gfred times) and consistently.

  • 20:33 Matto, I'm surprised you didn't try to do that climb in First Person, you probably would have gotten up there without stumbling, if you had the railgun you could have also aimed whilst walking, your character will gain magic uphill walking skills...

    • @@xWolfykins to be fair, the 9f is the fastest but it's not the easiest to get a good time with. The infernus is slightly slower overall but much easier to drive which is why many people do prefer it

    • ​@@dodo9360 GFRED races are what Broughy1322 does most weeks, and is made up of the checkpoints in this video. Starts on an island near where the cars initially spawned for this challenge, then the quarry, LSIA's parking garage, the top of Mt Chiliad, the Observatory, and finally the finishing island on the north west side of the map. it's usually 25+ people going gumball race style to make it to the final island first, like you saw here. Matto and Broughy here just split up the checkpoints between the two of them.

  • Man I’ve been watching dark viper for a long time and see a full gameplay video with another creator. I thought this would never happen, I remember yelling about not being able to play with other with among us. And just seeing this is fucking beautiful. It really seems like I’ve seen a change.
