    • ​@@yllucas4776As a Linux expert I explain to you: Linux does not use antivirus since it does not run .exe or anything that is Windows for that, Wine is used When you run it with that tool, the virus may or may not work, some are not compatible I have been using Linux for years and at no time have I had a single virus, since the computer deletes it on its own or the file does not work. I make it clear that bash and jar (java) files are executed on Linux

    • I have run many OS, and I will say Windows has a great default antivirus as most others run in the background causing lag. Linux lacks any equivalent due to running differently by only allowing user accepted code by design unless in some weird OS like Ubuntu

It goes like this; -User downloads typical virus -Antivirus lets it in -Virus begins to download malicious code -Code is detected and quarantined -Antivirus office updates the detection list -The virus is quarantined -The quarantined items are then deleted
