I recently bought a 2012 SE. 10 years later it still feels like the perfect blend of form and function; for anyone looking to buy, I would highly recommend the 4 cylinder. It’s a pleasure filling up once every 450 miles in a vehicle that does everything it should, easily.
V6 is better
that torque converter tho killed my camry
I fill up every 395-420 miles on my V6.
Same here and I’m still smokin v6’s I wldnt lie 🤷🏽♂️😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😂

That V6 sounds awesome! And the horn doesn't sound like roadrunner!
just got a camry identical to this today. I love it!
I like how all of your videos show the cars from similar angles and cover the similar basics, so it's easy to compare. Great job
I recently rented one of these in the 4 cylinder version and I was totally impressed with the car. It was comfortable, had a very quiet cabin, and the 4 cylinder outperformed itself in every situation. The MPGs were astounding, I got about 27 mpg in total city driving while I had it. I can totally see why people are buying these cars left and right. The Camry gives you the feel of a luxury sport sedan while giving optimal gas mileage. The interior was a little plasticky, (if that's a word) but the performance of the car is nothing short of outstanding.
I drove a 13 Camry SE as a rental. Loved it toyota nailed it with this gen camry. I'm not normally a Toyota guy but these new camrys are nice,
+GreenLifeSource Even '14 and '15 corollas are nice!
+Will, Follower of Jesus Even with the V6 mileage is excellent. I've done 31mpg highway in an older '08 Camry V6, 3mpg above EPA estimate. It's very quiet, very smooth, with none of the harshness turbo four cylinders have. I've always seen Camrys as boring blobs especially the earlier XV40 models, but now I'm trying to find a good used one.
Kyle you're probably the best reviewer I have found yet Kyle, your ES350 reviews were awesome.
These toyotas always rev so smooth! Makes me want one
This car is my dream car,I will definitely get this as my first car,V6 engine and everthing
Thank You Kyle for the upload; I love Camrys!
My wife and I are looking at this exact vehicle right now. We have the 2015 Sienna with the same 3.5L V6 and it’s awesome! So I imagine having the same V6 in the Camry would be even better being that it’s 1000lbs lighter than the Sienna.
you makes every review so interesting that it makes every car look good and make us to go for it .....
Love your reviews. They all follow a set format and are very detailed. Lots of great info when you are looking for a new car.
I install the exhaust on these cars! Its always awesome to see cars you helped build on the road
This model and the 2014 model (which are basically the same) looks better than the new 2015 model.
I agree. the 2012-2014 looks much better than the new face lift the 8th generation received in 2015.
2018 model is even better dudes
2018 looks like a lexus
Manny C don't agree I still take the 15th model over any other
But, the 2014 model has that awful CVT transmission...
My first Toyota sedan!! Wonderful job bro.
I'm from England and we need THIS over here! What a great looking car!
I have a 2020 Camry SE with the 4 cylinder engine. I can’t believe this older model had heated seats and JBL audio as options. Those features are only available nowadays on the XLE and XSE trims.
Back then XSE did not exist
Man has Toyota really stepped up their game lately. I have a 2011 Highlander myself, and I'm really impressed with it. Granted, I have just the base model or LE trim, but I'm still impressed with the giant improvements Toyota has made with all of their cars. The inclusion of such standard features as automatic lights, heated mirrors, and a windshield de-icer is pretty nice. I'm even impressed with how comfy the seats are. For being just cloth seats, I thought they were actually pretty comfortable for taking this thing on its first long (4.5-5 hours) drive from WI up to MN (which is where I go to college). The only thing I'm slightly disappointed about them is that at least the driver seat (also the front passenger seat) isn't powered, but that doesn't matter too much because I'm the only one driving the car. This means that I've only had to set it once, and then forget about it. I also really like that there's now an auxiliary jack built in. This means I don't have to futz with cumbersome FM transmitters. I don't even mind that my car didn't come standard with Bluetooth, as that aux jack is the next best thing. I can have any music playing through my iPhone (or any other audio device) as well as have my navigation done through it, and along with that, I can just use Siri for my voice commands (which in my opinion works a hell of a lot better than some current built-in systems). Speaking of all this audio talk, I personally think that the standard 6-speaker audio system actually sounds pretty good. Toyota has been pretty good about that though. With just the right settings, it can sound like the next best thing to a premium audio system. Needless to say, Toyota really has made many leaps and bounds with the quality of their cars, and I couldn't be happier with my '11 Highlander.
really like your reviews very thorough!
Great vid as always Kyle!
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY (x100000) You actually did listen to your viewers who are Toyota fans!!!! This car is amazing, and I cant wait to get my own.
I drove a 2014 v6 xle and it's a fun car to drive and will beat alot of cars you wouldn't expect it to.
My step-dad has a 2011 Toyota Camry LE, bought it brand new in 2011, had 4 miles on it when he bought it brand new, has 281,000 now, drove it to work everyday, he now has a 2022 Toyota Camry SE! I'm just borrowing his old Camry right now til I get a new car. I'm getting a 2017-2021 Toyota Corolla with 20K and with 30K miles on it.
I Was Waiting For This Car ! Thanx Man..!
i have a 2011 and they really did an awesome job redesigning it for 2012.. the exterior and interior are much nicer.. im getting one after my lease is up
I love the looks of these new camry SE V6's!! One of the best looking camrys to date, BY FAR. And it's powerful, sounds pretty mean even with the stock exhaust on there :) Intake, exhaust and a tune would be sweet on it
these are so much better than anything on auto week or motortrend lol props brotha!
Sounds like I got something to look forward to this weekend.
Love the horn on the camry
Yeah i LOVE it
I agree
Don't be so horny
Excellent review . Love the styling . Think the 4 is a better deal . But oh that 6 is sweet !
Thanks again, keep up the good work!
Best car review ever
I remember when these came out and had those wheels.. Some of the four cylinders had it but I think they were an SE-S. I thought those wheels were beautiful..They were really a standout and made the car look great.. the same as the Honda Accord touring wheels on the 2018 to 2020.
i absolutely love this car. it seems im the only one who feels this way.
Many love that car as it is the best seller of midsize sedans.. this the Honda Accord trails it second place. 👍
Great Video Kyle!
Keep up the videos Kyle!
Thanks for this vid...I'm thinking about buying a used 2012 Camry JUST like this one on the vid...after watching you go through all the features, I think I'm gonna go pull the trigger...thanks man!!
Do you bought it how is it still feels any problems
Same! Getting mine soon. ❤
2:34 Best horn on a sedan ever. Perfectly macho, just the right amount of "get the fuck out of my way".
I've always loved Camrys, my first car was a 1984 Camry hatchback. I wouldn't mind another one, especially this one!
Kyle just wanted to let you know I am doing a report at school on you and how your my insporation. Just wanted to thank you for being a good guy. Not to many of them out there now a days.
Request Rav4 2013/2014! Great job with all your videos!
2GR was the best engine Toyota made last decade! Smooth, powerful, responsive and reliable. 0-60 5.8 secs on the Camry and about 6.5 secs on the Lexus ES350. They should’ve continued this car all the way until 2017 with some refresh instead of that 2015-17 model.
Very good review for the date!
hey Jamiel he is your inspiration* and hes inspired alot of people
I want one. This same car to be exact.
I traded my 2012 Volvo s60 for this, and so far I like it. Great Review Kyle!
Wow that’s surprising!!
We used to have the Camry in the UK market years ago but had sadly flopped over there. In America, I assume it was marketed as a family car while in Europe it was marketed as an executive saloon (Audi A6/BMW 5 Series rival) but most people weren't convinced by it so they went for the European built Avensis instead. Love the new 2012 version of this Camry though, looks way better than most Camry's I've seen in the past, a huge improvement I'd say. Great review, saabkyle04! Keep up the good work!
It’s a beauty hope to get mine soon
Love the duel exhaust!
I want this as my first car!
what did you end up getting lmao
Mom & sister both bought 2013 se editions and wow camry has changed. Its actually pretty quick but somehow what really got my attention were the brakes holy heavens i almost hit my head on the windshield!
Saabkyle, as much as I love your videos and how in depth your reviews are, I think it's time to update to a better camera. I know it's 1080p but I think a new lens might be in order. Great reviews btw.
I love this car!!!
Ant Stein what type of gas do you put in it ? 87 or 89 ?
Miko the best 87
My dream car!!!
Same here! You can find some pretty nice used ones.
Bad Drivers of The Hampton Roads Area Obviously you guys haven't seen the 2018 Camry.
Nobody’s dream car is a Camry
Okudzeto Ackah It is if they're dreaming about the 2018 Camry XSE V6!
Okudzeto Ackah Yeah, you're an idiot
Nice video!
9 years later and now push button to start is everywhere, back in those days, it was still new. I miss those days
Ew push to start 😒
just bought this car as my daily driver with 71k miles.. i had no idea there were many features on the touch screen and now i wasn't too check to see if out had the jbl speakers.
How did it go? 5 years later
@@XDMIIIIIIIII I loved the car! I traded it in for a 2018 challenger RT though.
This car would look better with tinted windows.
I AGREE 😇💯🙏
You can say that with any car
@@lollol-xp4mc The 2015 Toyota Camry XSE ( 4 cylinder ) has 35% tint on it.
@@bradleymeyer9775 thats cool i didnt know cars came like that from the factory
@@lollol-xp4mc there are some that do have tint form the dealer, my car has aftermarket tint. Form the factory, minivans, SUVs and pickup trucks with extended cabs or crew cabs, and I think some passenger vans have rear window tint.
Great job!
That Camry looks Amazing , of course I am sort of Biased lol I work at a Toyota dealership in the Reconditioning department , the lot I work at has 4 of the 2012 Camry SE limited sports , one in attitude Black , one in charcoal grey , a gorgeous white one and a Sandy Beige one all are in amazing condition and they all shine like the one in this Video , it's a fact that Toyotas are great cars reliable and last pretty much forever . Awesome video thanks for making it and sharing it .
a very awesome car, absolutely great performance and excellent for reliability. love it !! and it's comfortable to drive plus takes low fuel.
If I were to get a newer camry, I'd want this generation of the V6 SE!! Definitely not like a normal camry!!!
great review.
Love that chime!
i love this camry when i test drove it the V6 its very fast car and also loved the dodge charger fuckin great cars!
That Dodge charger has terrible reliability stay away from one of those !! The body and interior also have poor quality build. 😤
Yay, now I can finally look at pictures of my fucking dog while I drive
Eric Zuza lol
Kyle has explained how a keyless lock works, like a 1000 times!!!
Would definitely buy one if I had the money! And the reason was : Good full in depth look and explanation by kyle :D
2GRFE is an excellent motor.
what about the transmission?
@@TheSuperchivas100 just as good! reliability wise anyway. not super sporty but who cares
Have you been in one? It's a very nice car.
pretty stylish car!! i like it.....nice review
Sounds lovely
I'm planning to buy this car sometime soon. I was going to buy the Altima, but they have problems with the CVT.
Stay away from those altimas🤬 their transmission really start to give trouble and whine when they get some age on them.. that is the worst thing about Nissan's is their transmissions🤪🤪🤪
@@randyjackson347 I had a 2007 Altima 2.5 S that I bought used a decade ago with 36k miles for $13k. The CVT got replaced at one point under warranty though (thank god) as well as a few other problems. Got rid of it after four years. I had a 2006 Toyota Corolla S before that which had no problems as expected. Replaced the Altima with a new 2015 Camry XSE V6, then a used 2017 Lexus IS200t F-Sport, now currently a 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport that I bought last year all with no problems. No more Nissan for me! Toyota/Lexus forever!
@@DisneyMusicVideos👍 It's good you got your transmission replaced under warranty in that Altima .. that was the first year they put that CVT in those altimas and they really had a lot of trouble with them. Toyota / Lexus are great cars .Hondas are good as well just second place to them.
@@randyjackson347 Ya, my dad has a 2017 Ridgeline that he bought new in 2017 now with 90k miles & it's been very reliable as well.
And the Camry will be 10x as reliable. BMWs = repair money pits.
Not sure someone looking at a Camry is looking at a bmw also some bmw models are reliable but not all
@@vdimusicgaming um u just replied to an 8 year old comment, but yes there are people like that. They have enough money to look at mercs, bmws, but they settle on a Toyota or Honda since they don’t really care for cars and the features of newer Toyota and Honda models is enough for most people
@@wildk5367 It doesn't matter who old its is also I kinda agree with you..
@@wildk5367 I agree, my budget fits a Merc C class 2015 but I'm looking at this car. I really think saving money is worth it
@@muhammedmayer3988 what did you get?! If you settled on the Camry I’m sure you’re happy with it.
I really want this car its soo sick!!
Awesome video and a great car. Toyota cars always look great and last a long time. I bet it's fun to drive too.
toyota>ford>mercedes
TheKillerace900 Ford = Garbage
TheKillerace900 Mercedes 300 series>Toyota>Ford
I'd like to see proof of both statements there, as I highly doubt you have an 800k ford with original everything, lets be real.
JonnyTheKin6 The engine may be reliable, but back then every company was that. Ford just always sucked on the interior part
and transmissions Ford has always had transmission problems, my companys F-550 dumptruck has gone through about 3 of them now, my grandma's 2016 ecoboost mustang is starting to show signs of having serious transmission problems, and my boss who leases a new top of the line F-150 every 2-3 years has at least 1 problem with each truck regarding transmission, these are all automatics though so I have no real life experience with Manual Fords
mine has remote start
Ok.
I LOVE THIS CAR ITS AWESOME
Wow that sounds like a v12! Sounds great!
Toyota is the new Lexus
Toyota is Lexus...
for real
yup sure is 😌
Corey Chambers Isn't Lexus made by Toyota?
Manny Davis they are the same if you think about it by the remote alarm and more
What I don't really like, it's the microwave bip sound when the engine start.
I agree. It makes the car feel cheap. The old chime is much better.
Maybe just removing the fuse to turn it off 🤷🏻♂️
Excellent ride
That V6 sounds GOOD.
The toyota camry and the honda accord would be always enemies
Frenemies. Competition always breeds success amd the consumer wins in the end
Its not made in Japan, its made in Georgetown Kentucky
MrGreenelight Not the 2018 jerk
Let’s get this straight. The cars are made in america, but Toyota IS A FOREIGN MANUFACTURER!!!
@@crxracer805 2018 Camrys is still being built in Georgetown, Kentucky, FOOL 🤣 🤣 🤣🤣 🤣🤣 🤣
thanks 4 the vid by the way. my mom is thinking about buying one!
Yes! Thanks kyle.
I like this car. Like the reliability. But it's just flat out boring. You see them everywhere, same with corollas, I'm just tired of seeing them. I wish they just had better designs.
Jayden W. Get the 2018 Camry then. It's completely redesigned.
Jayden W. Did you look at it yet? Why are you taking so long to respond?
NoH8 it's funny cause your name is "noh8"
Those rims are sick!!
11:44 that song was popular at the time of this video lol i remember always hearing it on the radio. nice little time capsule.
One of the nicest looking cars
congrast on your new car kyle :) i mean the charger :)
Very nice whip!
Really nice Camry
Beautiful car!
How Nice Car And Cool Camry.
some day I'm getting my hands on one of those bad boiis
I have a 2012 black Camry SE. 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. U can get the SE 4cylinder with a push button start but it's optional. Love the stereo system
Sounds pretty good
