I love how the cop repays the debt for their saving his son by letting them go. John Woo's movies always remember what integrity and honor is.

@@michaelmoroni4044 Fuqua was basically remote controlled director for hire at this point, hadnt branched out into his own style ( heavily influenced style ) with Training Day, shame his career became so standard with those awful Gerard Butler movies

I think Black Ops 1 took inspiration from this scene. The Kowloon level, when Clark gets shot, he falls off a cat-walk and knocks out a sign with sparks flying.
