  • The worst thing A&M did all night was Buzz taking the timeout down 4 late in OT when his guy was driving to the hoop for an easy 2, and probably an and-1 with how many fouls these refs were calling. So he basically takes 2 points off the board, draws up a play that doesn’t work, A&M puts up a bad 3 and misses, Houston rebounds, game over.

    • Alabama for sure. They were given an absolute gift like ive never seen. Smallish teams the first 2 games . They folded like an accordian with Florida, Auburn and Kentucky. Finally about to play A team with bigger guys and the severe lack of defense will rear its head as it did when Alabama played better SEC teams. Skinny mustache guy gets bounced around like A pinball. As for Tennessee, they have alot better chance. But i wouldnt be surprised if they did exit ​@@KWarrior88

  • Are you suggesting that they sometimes push middle and sometimes baseline based on where gap help is? That is like ridiculously difficult to install. Buzz wants to play like Texas Tech in 2019, he just doesn’t have the athletes to execute it.

  • Looked at the Box Score at one point, I think in the early part of the 2nd Half. Texas A & M was 16 for 30 on Free Throws. Lost the game at the Line 😞😭

    • They still kept it close and couldn't capitalize. That entire team could have steamrolled Houston if they hit their free throws and had a decent defense. Too bad they couldn't though.

    • A&M is a team that was Almost but never was. A&M players are not what you call star players. A&M players are leftovers from other teams. On a good team A&M players would not even start . Most of them are backups. Good defensive players are a rare breed. It's. An instinct. I said if A&M was going to be at Houston their defense is going to have to much improve and it did not. I know Coach Williams is a good coach but his assistants sucks. He needs to find an assistant who knows defense. That's got to change. But that timeout with the player going down for the layup was absolutely uncall for. Gotta wonder

  • Every team plays the same sh*tty defense scheme. I don’t know how fan boys enjoy seeing the same sh*t games after game. I love the whole close out on the shooter BS, like running at him from 20 ft away is gonna do anything. I would just play a 1-3-1 zone and be done with it, just like Boehieim at Syracuse with the 2-3.

  • A lot of red flags here tell me you have never actually coached basketball. I turned it off after 2 minutes but they literally never doubled. Saying to force the ball middle, nobody forces the ball middle except pack-line defense. Calling help on a dribble drive a double team. People like this? Some guy who doesn’t know anything about basketball shitting on kids and coaches? Sad.

    • You must not have followed Aggie basketball for long. 3 post season appearances, 3 deep conference tourney runs in a row. This was the #1 ranked basketball team in the country...we had to take chances. If we make 1 more FT in regulation- dude here has no video to make. Show the last 2 minutes where Houston had their bungholes tighter than Fort Knox...and completely forgot how to play basketball!

    • ​@jowoshy2691 coaches don't play. A&M had 5 guys they could count on and that's it. Horrible= Blown out like last year against Penn State where the game was over inthe first 5 minutes of the first half. This was a Game for 95% of it strictly because of coaching. To say otherwise just shows you haven't followed this Aggie team very well as A&M had no business being in that game.

Throughout the entire game their defense was late to rotations and they had a poor timeout call near the end of the game and shot like shit from 3. 2 out of the 3 of those are the coaches fault. They hustled but looked lost, you can't teach toughness but their coach failed them for defense.
