I think they were actually true.. the episode where Carly was berating Specer and his babysitter girlfriend i think she just got in their heads and caused them to overthink things that really didnt matter... they genuinely did love each other because they were Complety willing to stop insulting and fighting one another (which was like a Lifestyle for them) for each other. True love is shown, not said... ❤
The “I love you too” line from Sam at the end was truly heartbreaking. You can tell that throughout the boyfriends Sam’s had, Freddie was the best one, despite the arguments due to their differences. That’s because Sam knows Freddie for a long time that he would never hurt or betray her behind her back. And even though they admit they didn’t click at the right time, it must’ve killed Sam that they had to break up knowing she loved him first.

Freddie’s relationship with Sam made more sense than with Carly. The relationship with Carly felt forced. The relationship with Sam had amazing chemistry and felt so natural. Even when they fought it was a strong force that brought them together all the time. They didn’t have much in common as far as interests but the attraction was way too intense. I’m so bitter these two didn’t end up together.

I've just read that season 3 of the revival will be very Creddie-centric, which ought to please all Creddie fans. But I personally think Seddie was way better, such a beautifully crafted relationship, such an interesting dynamic, from its very beginning, and to watch it blossom over time was just a treat, and indeed it was time, with its slow and constant development, that gave it so much realism. In the scene of their first kiss, right after they stop kissing, at 4:12 you can catch a glimpse of Sam's true feelings, feelings she was likely unaware of, as she looks at Freddie, before the camera cuts to him. It's just half a second long, but it's perfect. It all started there. Well, with all this multiverse hype, we can assume there is a universe, somewhere, where Sam and Freddie stayed together.

I was in a relationship that was literally the same setup as this, and it did not work out at all, we argued all of the time, it was so toxic but I loved her. Unfortunately it resulted in a very bad break up. I ended up getting abused by her, physically. Compatibility matters. Sometimes the opposites attracts thing works, and sometimes it doesn't. I know this was a kid's show, but the message sticks into realism. It's not as common to see relationships like this last.

Couples don’t have to do everything together. Carly completely sabotaged their relationship. (Not on purpose obviously. But everything they thought they needed to fix was from Carly planting seed of insecurity in their minds) Sam and Freddie cared about each other. They enjoyed spending time together when they could agree on something to do. And they had chemistry. Feelings and attraction are the only things you need to have a relationship. Everything else is secondary. They cared about each other. That’s what mattered.
I think after she saw Sam with Freddie maybe she finally caught feelings for Freddie and that’s why she was trying to sabotage their relationship lol

Carly might have been little jealous that her best friends were dating. Carly had a loving family, boys eager to date her and lots of friends. Sam had no dad, a rough relationship with her mom and no friends besides Carly. She put on a tough persona to protect herself. She put her heart on the line opening herself up to kiss, date and fall in love with Freddie. Freddie in turn loved her in a different way than he loved Carly.

If Sam and Freddie had never gone downstairs that night when Carly talked to Spancer, they certainly wouldn't have broken up because they only broke up because of Carly's example, so they would never have gone downstairs or if Carly had never said that, they might have stayed together ..

You can definitely see progress headed that direction by season 3 maybe even late season 2. She still picked on him but also was a lot more endearing towards him
Only season 1 they genuinely didn't like each other. She was actually violent towards him back then. But after Season 2 you can tell they have a love hate thing going. Sam is no where near as violent and even is soft towards him at times and Freddie rarely says anything mean to her anymore.

Honestly, they were vibin not meddling into each other's hobbies and they didn't think it was weird. They loved each other to the point that they realized and accepted that they have different hobbies. Until Carly said that uhuhuh
I never was a supporter of "Creddie," and I was a bigger supporter of "Seddie," because there are so many differences between the 2, which made both dating an extremely cute thing. I wish that Mrs. Benson supported Freddie when he dated Sam, because maybe it is something that gave them the idea to break up, it was such an interesting period of time to watch Sam uncover the times when she pretended to hate Freddie, while liking Freddie, during their time dating. "Creddie" was something not interesting in my opinion and perspective, because it is something that does not uncover the mysteries, just full of romantic moments, and everybody being enthusiastic about something that we had expected all along. I know my explanation may be confusing, but those of you who understand, you will know how it feels like.
