  • Selena Gomez doesn’t belt and doesn’t have the best technique for her vocals. She isn’t good maintaining her breathing and pitching for the song. But you wanna know why Selenators love her and her singing? Because she’s singing with her heart. She touches her songs with her raw emotions and it magically connecting her to us. If you can’t see it, her songs are the songs that is hard to make covers or stuff despite the fact that they are mostly low pitches, not because she has great vocals but because of the emotions. Which is what today’s singers lack of. So don’t tell her she can’t sing because singing is not just about belting, singing is expressing what the singer’s feelings and touching people with your lyrics... and selena did that.
