This is the Yankees we’ve been waiting to see! Dating back to last season, this is now the 5th win in a row for the Yankees not only against the Astros but IN Houston. Hopefully they can keep this up.

The outfield transformation alone is stark ( Mckinney, Cordero, Bauers, and Willie Calhoun replaced by Soto, Judge, Verdugo, and Grishem with Dominguez and Jones on the way). It's a long season and while twenty years ago your words would be embraced by most, it's now the Trashstros who are much more despised and hated. Just read the comment section. The Yankees never receive this much support from other fanbases. LULZ! The Dodgers aren't far behind in the unpopularity contest. The Yankees rate third because they are so big they'll always have the legions of fans and haters. The Yankees didn't even need Cole to defeat your top two starters. Congrats on your squad's 30 seconds of fame. They've accomplished basically what the Braves did in the 90s, they dominated a league for a good number of years but had limited success in the World Series. Congrats on their 30 seconds of fame. That's what it amounts to in the grand scheme of a sport that's been around nigh 130 years.

This team is only going to get better when judge gets going they're going to be super dangerous and I'm hoping Stanton also gets hot then this is going to be the most feared lineup in baseball in my opinion with Rizzo in the middle of both of those guys. Cabrera has been the hero the last two games and I'm loving his game overall He's a great overall player. The Yankees need to open up the damn wallet and just pay Soto now before he leaves mid season.

Great start out of Javier. As I feared though, the middle-reliever section of our bullpen may be an issue this year. 7-8-9 we’re good, but we need more proven/consistent middle relievers. Especially if Montero can’t return to his 2022 form.
Fire Espada
Montero is clearly the Black Hole in the bullpen and it's beyond me that Espada still chose to bring this loser into the game as he's had a terrible 2023, terrible spring training, and now has allowed runs in first 2 outings in the regular season. That guy needs to only come in for mop up duty in blowouts - not crucial game situations.
We dont have much of a choice imo..martinez isn't any better we gotta find a groove real quick..when we get mcullers and garcia back we can move lance and garcia to middle relief or just lance..Verlander, Valdez, Javier, brown ,france, starting 5

The Astros need some serious bullpen help. Every time the bullpen comes in, unless it’s Abreu or Hader we’re giving up at least 2 runs. I think Scott will be that guy we can go to, but he just doesn’t have enough experience yet. We really need Montero, Pressly, Martinez, and Mushinski to step up
