One thing I've noticed is that they removed things from the interaction menu such as sharing cash. I get it was exploited in the past but removing the system entirely just isn't right. Maybe give associates at least half the pay of the CEO's job so the removal of this system could be justified.

The cash sharing was disabled long before Chop dlc, but the option was removed from the menu on Chop dlc, on the occasion of restructuring this menu. Definitely a downside from the players pov.
I can’t even tell you what you activities you could share cash from other than maybe robbing a store or bounty money. Even then that’s only like 1-9k so does the removal REALLY matter?
When VIP work was one of the best freemode money making methods, I would hire low levels and share all of my money from each job with them.
They should’ve let us use the Slamtruck, and Wastelander for the tow truck missions. This DLC would’ve given both of these vehicles a purpose, and a reason to buy them instead of just money pits.
Wastelander has own mission and we use it to grab the chasers custom banshees each time they come in the daily exotic list.
Honestly that’s genius, ANYTHING to give the Slamtruck an actual use I’ll happily accept

@@Savage_247 The wastelander mission always have that chasers that drive custom banshees and sultans. We don't put the banshee on the truck bed, we lure and shoot last chasers just near the mission's deliver spot. After the mission passed, the banshees do not despawn if you look them. We hop in them and drive and deliver them to exotic car yellow spot in docks, for an extra 20k pay. But we do this mission only when the banshee 900 is on the daily exotic list, that you get calling Sessanta.

The DLC is good. But I hate the 1 week cooldown.
What im mostly mad about is how we cant use the tow truck to troll people and can only use it for missions 😢
I was level 38 at the LS car meet now I’m at 126. The drift races are fun to do.
Theres a couple unfinished things, 1. During a repo sometimes youll get the text that someone is giving you trouble but there is not a single enemy that is aggro and none that spawn during the repo 2. I can’t buy these cars
Funny you say that there's no aggressive enemies that spawn during the tow work missions, cause in actuality if you wait for a few seconds after you've hooked onto the car but haven't left where it spawned then one hostile NPC will come and try to attack you.

@@Kola25_97Yes, the npc spawn always happens. Just need to wait little time after hooking the car. And is also an early hint that we won't get cops during that repo.

The weird thing is the chop shop update made me wish we got cops n crooks update, also wish we didn’t have to glitch bandanas to wear without hat or glasses. With tow truck I wish we could use the slam can tow truck in story mode.
An add on : WHY can’t we wear caps in cars but we can wear some caps in them?? I got the red auto cap and wanted to wear it on an outfit for towing but it automatically goes off when you get inside the truck.
Best part of the DLC imo are the police vehicles. They look sweet. The other parts of the DLC are mid imo. The battle rifle is a carbon copy of the 69 other ARs in the game, the snowball launcher got vaulted :(, pointless cooldowns and repetitive mission design tear away at what could've been a more exciting update. I have hopes that the Cluckin Bell robbery will be fun to play with its unique mechanics. Solid 6/10 update

The missions are pretty fun but payouts are low. Overall I kinda like this dlc
Using DK's car in the new drift races for the background footage was a nice touch
I feel like the rest of police cars we haven't received might be added in an upcoming DLC this year, the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid could be potentially hinting at the next update being police focused
i see on the gameplay while your discussing the depth review on this dlc, the gameplay what you, your discord allies and randoms in the server are literally roleplaying as nfs most wanted 2005 or carbon pursuit, i do like that clip you made, i was picturing pursuit theme 3 or 2, smart very smart ghillie, its alot more fun doing that, its a nice change of pace pvp playing cops and robbers but nfs mw05 style

I love to see more police vehicles be purchasable, but love to see more in general, even some older police cars or older variants of such, I love to see the GTA4 version of the Police Cruiser added, the police Merit and Police Presidente from GTA4, also the Noose Cruiser and Noose Patriot from GTA4 as well as the Enforcer (as a different variant of the Riot Van) and the Police Stockade too, also maybe a Police Brickade also, I also love to see the Police Uranus added along with the regular one as well as a Police Dominator of any variants and so on, so who knows tbh, also an 80's version of the Police Cruiser based on the LTD Crown Vic as well as a regular one too, also a regular version of the current police Cruiser and such tbh, so yeah
In my opinion I actually like the SUVs that they added. The Cavalcade and Aleutian being my favorites not even necessarily for their performance just the looks. But I also would want the other cop cars. Like we can own a ranger Granger and two Staniers so why can’t we buy the regular cop car or the FIB vehicles. I and a few others have also complained about how you’re supposed to be able to keep the robbery vehicles but of course it’s a drip feed thing.
This update is fun even regards with all the negatives like the limit on how many chop shop missions we do and such, too many SUV's, convertibles are fun but wish we've got a fixed roof for the Dominator GT tbh, some vehicles don't have much customisations or missing ones especially with the Vivante not having liveries and such for the non-hsw one, the tow truck is okay but wish it has more customisations and put liveries on it, also should of added the Slamvan version of the towtruck too with a clean one of such, also could of added a more modern towtruck too like a 2000's, 2010 or a 2020 type towtruck tbh, this update could done well with more decent vehicles tbh like more modern and classic cars, the FR36 and the new Astrope should of been tuners cars tbh, new vintage car for Valentines day, should of added GTA4 vehicles especially the Super Drop Diamond for the update tbh, the update is good for a car based dlc, but I love a proper car customisation business that has no restrictions what we can do to such unlike for the Im/Ex and Auto Shop business had, so yeah Also, love more police cars tbh, not just the ones in game that should be purchasable, but ones from GTA4 as well like the Police Merit and the Police Presidente, also the Police Stockade, Enforcer (a version of the Riot Van but different), Noose Cruiser and Noose Patriot, GTA4 Police Cruiser and so on, also some Police variants of other vehicles and some classic police cars like a classic Police Cruiser based on the LTD Crown Vic, Police Uranus and so on, just the possibilities tbh, also fire vehicles too like more fire truck variants, a Fire Cruiser (An LSFD version of the Police Cruiser), Airport firetrucks and so on, also more ambulances and emergency vehicles tbh, also aerial ones too, the possibilities here, but yeah

I vote too for more customization options for the brand new interaction menu. Franklin's payhits reduced payout was not on the happy news. The edited labels on the garrages should be displayed also when u enter a garage where you own more apartments.

Yusuf gives unique phone calls based on what car you bring to him at the Terminal after delivering your first in the session. One other thing that’s missing from this DLC: WHEN CAN WE PUT ROBBERY VEHICLES INTO OUR GARAGES!!?
I wasn’t expecting this update to be all that great but my favorite thing is the option to buy and customize cop cars(which I wasn’t expecting to be in this update.) overall I’d give this update a 6.5/10. I will say, hopefully we get an event week to where we can sell the vehicles for double money from these missions inside the auto shop(if you know what I’m saying)
My favourite car from this dlc has to be the Omaggio. It looks amazing, drives so smooth and it has become my newest daily driver 😊 Overall it’s an ok dlc but it did introduce many bugs and things they simply forgot, like the missing car customization like you mentioned.
Personally, My favorite car has to be the Unmarked Cruiser, largely because it's the closest thing we'll get to a modern Stanier (as of writing this comment).
Yeah the Omaggio reminds me of the Fiametta from WD2. Good car. I like it.
Mine is the FR36. Drives so nice and is kind of under rated i think

I wish the tow missions had more going on, so far most unique one has been a parking lot party, could have had more situations like those old reality shows like operation repo, something like having to sneak around and get a gate open to get the car or having to fight the owner, would be better than the sudden 2 star ones.
Yeah I rly hope they'd allow us to customize the interaction menu in the next update... This reordering is just a lot more inconvenient than streamlining for some of my most used settings...
Not bad, I do wish they had more police cars on the roster (and better customization for them/same as the cruiser).
Honestly having “conversions” for certain cars could be fun. Granger 3600 LX, Bufflao STX, etc etc

There's to many hsw vehicles
The tow trucks connecting to other tow trucks was solved years ago by making them disconnect from any vehicle being towed if another tow truck hooks up to it. What is more likely is that R* was concerned players would find exploits that allow for car duplication. That is why player-owned Cargobobs have a hook line so short it's barely useable, and in some cases such as trying to lift a Chernobog, it's close to impossible. I don't know the full details of how it was done but it had something to do with players occupying a vehicle connected to the hook while being moved into the space outside of a property so that there were 2 instances of it in the same session. From there more glitches were done to put a tracker and insurance on the one still connected.
I had a huge idea for thr salvage yard. If I’m salvaging car parts why can’t I build my own project concept car from the ground up? Imagine being able to salvage super car parts and then build an absolute rocket! That’s what should of happened.
This DLC was kinda fun, it's not the best best but truly makes up with the cars

Even the Zentorno has a missing part on left grille since first came out in 2014. X80 Proto has visible emit taillight on top, then the Seven 70 has missing smoke coming out on default exhaust. And the Insurgent has smoke coming but theres no exhaust

Honestly? The best thing from this dlc are the cop cars. And the fact there's a reference to a possible cop dlc in the leaked Cluckin' Bell raid cutscenes? Makes me very eager to see what other cop cars we can expect. Perhaps, the cut ones from the SSASS dlc 3 years back.
One thing I haven't seen anyone address is that they removed the ability to ragdoll down the waterfall and stream under the train bridge up north of the map. Funnily enough, that stream next to the waterfall you can now swim up no problems, sucks because it was a prime mess around spot with friends. The ragdoll made that spot, we've moved to ragdolling npcs and us down Mt. Chilliad now, not the same, but it works.
I'm patiently waiting for a new race option to turn off vehicle class restriction in Land/Stunt/Open-wheel races. It's such a simple thing they could add, that would have the greatest impact on the racing community. I also liked that they gave us ice road props, here's hoping we get more terrain prop options like off road/sand/rocky.
I am mixed on this DLC. On one hand I liked how they brought back the Tow Truck so it is useful for towing vehicles. The BIGGEST problem however it that you cannot use it in freemode. Even when you're toing the Tow Service you cannot tow any other vehicles. It has to be the one that the game tells you to tow. As for the Mini Car Heists meh........its just literally the same type of missions we've become so used too. Its always "Go to this area, kill enemies, get the item, and deliever it" thats basically prepping the heist. As for the heists some of them are creative but others not so much. I mean they make you do a lot of work just to get a car from a Submarine. Seriously who the hell puts cars in a Submarine? As for as the vehicles (sigh) I mean its fine that we finally gotten the option to buy cop cars but again what do you really do with them? You cannot do Vigilante missions with them like you could in the older GTA games. It is useful when you're using the sirens to get traffic to move out of the way if you don't want to worry about those idiotic NPCs crashing into you, but sometimes they still do when they pull in front of you. I know Rockstar is dripfeeding the Vincent missions where he's now a cop and you have to do police work. I'm sure its going to be great but again we are forced to wait months for it. Overall I would say this DLC is better than the San Mecandaries update in Early 2023, it at least tries to give you a new business to work with to make money, Yusif Amir is back but only for a few cutscenes and then he straight up dips afterwards so you're stuck with his Cousin Jamal. The one other negative is that the Car Heists are a one week only and its RNG meaning that you have no idea what kind of car heist you'll do. It is very frustrating having to wait just to do the car heists. I am giving this DLC a 6.5/10

Surprisingly to me at least, this was a good dlc. I love single-player and the car part of gtao so this was a great part of home for me. Personal cop cars/tow truck, freemode missions, animals, etc. Made this dlc really like story mode. The robberies and drift races are super fun and unique and have decent replay-ability. Luke everyone else, my only grip with this dlc is the 1 week cooldown on robberies and menu but overall liked the chop shop
*The Good:* - cop cars finally being made purchasable in the forms of the Stanier LE, Gauntlet Interceptor, Park Ranger, Riot Truck, and Unmarked Cruiser - the relatively straightforward Robbery jobs/prep work, and easy money from obtaining and selling the target cars - the way that Robbery jobs can be executed in a Freemode-esque mission without fear of being attacked by rival players or needing a pre-mission lobby - relatively easy money that can be made from salvaging cars via the Tow Truck service - Yusuf Amir *The Bad:* - the price tag for the Salvage Yard properties and additions - the limit of three Robberies per week - the Battle Rifle rivaling the EMP Launcher in terms of most disappointing weapons in GTA Online *The Ugly:* - the *_price tags_* for the cop cars, because Rockstar knows full well how badly players want them - the Enforcer outfit being the *_one and only_* outfit that players aren't allowed to keep without utilizing glitches/workarounds *The Hope:* - that cop cars are being made purchasable meaning Cops and Crooks may be back on the table for GTA Online and/or GTA 6
I don’t know if anyone has covered it yet, but you can save up a car for the following week to get more money in the new event week, so say you sell all the robbery cars except for one when the new event week drops and they rotate the car robberies out, it will use that extra slot making it possible to sell 4 cars to Yusuf in one week instead of 3 ( i hope that makes sense..)
True,but you're actually not making more money than you would if you just sold the car for the week.
@@jasonstearns1044don’t we make just slightly over or under a mil with the 3 cars they give us a week depending on the price ranges ? If so then having a 4th car to sell would be more than the 3 we sell a week.. i could still be wrong..
@fxithrises4203 yes,we make around $1 mil each week...but,if you forgo selling 1 car for the week, you're shorting yourself the money for that car,which reduces the weeks payout. Then selling it the next week with the other 3 will increase that weeks payout,but you're still only making the same amount of money for those 2 weeks,as you would have made by just selling the other car the previous week.

@fxithrises4203 no problem. The 4th slot is rumored to be part of a supposed update coming where we will supposedly be able to keep and purchase heist cars. Typical gta rumors... I'll believe it when I see it. Then again, I've not seen a single heist car that I'd want and that I haven't already had or currently have. I just so the heists,sell the cars and tow the hell out of some cars. The more you tow,the more money your safe makes and the more money it'll hold...like the agency safe.
I'm still waiting for the drag races and clucking bell raid, I hope those 2 make the update a little bit better

I kinda wish rockstar let us customize all the new outfits. we deserve customisable outfits I still don't understand why they won't let us do that it's the most simplest idea. I don't understand why I am unable to have gloves or glasses on with any of the new outfits. the only one that's kinda customisable is the police outfit. But yet if you wanted a mask glasses and a helmet you still have to do the telescope glitch and I'm quite surprised that hasn't been patched.
I’d say this DLC was a small step above the Drug Wars and Mercenaries Updates. But not up there with some of the best updates in the game. B+
The robbery missions are cool I have no problem with them. (Except the submarine one. That one SUCKS!) I have an issue with the tow truck missions. I was expecting something more exciting. I thought you would have to go to a dangerous area like ballas, take out a couple people then tow a special balla vehicle or something like that. Instead, you just tow crappy civilian cars you see in traffic, no high end/super/luxury cars at all. It’s Yusuf for crying out loud! You just tow the same 5 vehicles and occasionally get the cops. Disappointing. Also, why would they not allow performance modifications for the tow truck? It’s SO SLOW!!! With terrible handling. You can only change the colour??? Smh man
Bit of a letdown, but at this point I’m not holding my breath for anything amazing. 5.5/10 for me. And I think you can spam the tow truck missions by collecting two cars, logging off and logging back in. Both cars have been scrapped and you can rinse and repeat. On PC it only takes a couple of minutes, but unless it’s 2X $$ and RP I’m not sure it’s worth it tbh.

They need to increase the payouts for the salvage yard robberies if they are gonna be once a week
the drift tune is definitely the highlight of this dlc for me. everything else is either more of the same or worse like adding animals which causes much more frequent frame drops. changing the interaction menu is okay its theoretically faster now but having to get used to it was a little annoying
One quality of life thing that they need to make you see that you can call Jamal to start up the setups/preps whatever the hole they are because I honestly don't particularly like having to go back to the salvage yard every single time you want to start up a prep like yeah I get the every now and then one of the perhaps will take you back there and a lot of the time people spawn in there but still some of the perhaps you just complete and you know you're outside it's just I feel like you shouldn't have to do it especially you shouldn't have to go back for the disruption prep that's just for ridiculous like that's what takes up most of the time after you do certain setups and then you're like oh no maybe I should do this one and then that just happens it's just very irritating

the normal cop car is also bugged, the left headlight is on and in the street it's like it was broken.. i like the tow truck missions, just go there and take the car, maybe escape from the cops, it's simple but effective imo.
I do actually think that the Chop Shop is quite underrated way of making money. I already got the platinum award for towing 100 cars making minimum 5 mil worth (think I made around 10 from that alone prior to this x2 week ) and the safe is pretty good aswell (pretty sure I made over 5m from that aswell) ,it's the 2nd best passive safe in the game after the NC. The missions are relatively fun except the submarine one that one can go fk itself . personal favorite is the diamond casino robbery . I do share the same opinion that the 3 per week limit is stupid but perhaps in future it will be removed also when the ability to actually "keep" the cars we steal will come in handy. I don't really like any of the new cars except for the omaggio maybe. cop cars are pretty fun roleplay wise but not for me, i was hoping maybe they add vigilante missions in it. I think it's one of the better updates , 7/10 overall.

You say it’s underrated but if you strictly doing the robbery’s your barely making a million dollars and why would a game full of crim be fun to tow cars around like a 9-5 what happened to robbing banks or the casino or just different businesse for shit ton of money instead of working a 9-5 doing tow truck missions after some ppl already did a 9-5 not worth it plus fully upgraded you have to do the Robbie’s for like 6 weeks to even break even not worth it not to mention Yusuf is what included in 2 cut scenes completely baited us w that shit
I don't know what is your point. It's a different kind of business, one that gives you more money from the "legal" side when you just want to chill and have other more engaging things on cooldown. There arent many of those that also pay relatively well.
I was upset when i heard the Tow truck wasnt a free roam special vehicle we could just mess around with.
At somepoint i heard we will be able to also keep the vehichles we steal for twenty thousand dollars

Its a good dlc. How often does something new, fun, and wholesome get added to freemode? Drifting is smooth and infectious. Getting police cars and cars from GTA VI is also cool. Chop Shop hiests are leagues better than the Autoshop in terms of rng (and dailogue lol) even if we cant do them more often

I like the DLC. I think it was fine, although the missions can become repetitive fast. But at least we don't have to scout every location a second time.
Aight so since the dlc came out I've been having this glitch where all but 260 rounds of my rifle ammo gets deleted every damn time I change lobbies. Anyone know how to fix this?
I don't like the new missions at all. They all have those stupid find missions that developers love to put in games these days. I don't get it. Finding stuff i lost irl is not fun, why do they think that's something i want to do in a game? Then most of the missions have either bad stealth, or fake stealth, where it tells you you can sneak, but as soon as you take a step or 2 you're instantly detected. And the terrible cop mechanics where you're instant wanted when no one is around and this new stupid trend of not being able to call Lester. Overall a frustrating experience that i won't be participating in anymore
With all of these things we've never seen before, like being able to own cop cars, having a 100 car garage (for GTA+ only -_-), animals now roam GTA online, and we can customize garages easier than ever now... I still feel robbed and cheated that Rockstar *still* hasn't given us more hangar storage space! Let me own more than 20 dammit!

The weekly robbery is no issue for me Gives me reason to keep myself from being burn out playing GTA5 as I can do all of it on thursday and play other games or help my friends

Chop shop should have been an Auto Shop expansion. Should have the opportunity to steal to sell, repo or breakdown to repair. Why not side of the road breakdown in game event, shows engine repairs, earn a fee.
Never lose hope guys this might not be the biggest update but we still got hope for next year for maybe a new heist or maybe Michael update
This DLC did meet expectations because mine were very low. Rock* never disappoints
Does no one else call in their oppressor after leaving the sub to lose the cops then once you lose the cops it's smooth sailing all the way back to the salvage yard. It's an easy way to lose the cops on the gangster car robbery also.

Its fun but the only problem about this whole entire thing is that you have to wait every Thursday just to replay the heists again.
The Dorado's armor is glitched at 100%. You crash in it with 100%, and it folds like it has none.

They’re both the same. The better-looking one just has a higher price for preference (some like it old, some like it new). Both work the same.

At least this DLC didn't remove 186 vehicles and add in 2 game breaking bugs
I had hoped PC would get the Next Gen content with this update....
Can we still not keep cars we steal for the chop shop?
It's 50/50 for me, it's not bad like drug wars but it should have had a lot more in it. More weapons, more hair styles, npc type clothing.
The dlc had great portential. The missions are actually fun. But now for the cost of fun the payout is wack. If you are going to make the missions weekly then you should have the payouts way better than it is right now. I literally don’t play gta much now cause I have a ton of money. Ever since this doc came out, I literally get online on Thursday to play the missiiins to then come back next week lol 😂

Yeah, the payouts we've get from these missions compared to the prices for the vehicles in game is appalling, it should be flipped, we cannot do two or three of the chop shop or any businesses or heists for one car, we could of get dozens of cars for said amount we get paid plus some left over, increase the payouts and decrease the vehicle prices, then we have a deal there

@@UwUeboitrue. That is why I am worried for gta 6 being extremely hard for grind cause of low payout. But to me I don’t mind I liked my grind in gta5 from living in a garage under a bridge to literally having 500 million just under at least
imo a good majority of major dlcs we've been getting lately(other than the contract) weren't great and don't really add much aside from a few missions.
I wasn't expecting alot to begin with so it is what it is 🤷

Glitches 🤦 wish they get on them and stop people yea its cool but the community with gate keeping etc its annoying

I've had no expectations at all because of the GTA VI announcement, after almost 7 and a half thousand hours its hard to expect anything new that isn't just reskinned old content. (the arena being used again is nice though) Good update and it'll be great after we get all the content that's in the dripfeed
It wasn’t the best update by far, but me being a car guy, I actually liked it. I’ll give it a 8-1/2 out 10. The car robbers are really fun, to me anyway, and I’m a grinder, so it’s another new form of making money. As far as the new rifle goes, I’m kinda meh on that, I don’t really do PvP so it doesn’t really matter to me much. Mind you, this is just my opinions, yours may vary.

I’m appalled at the fact that they didn’t Imani tech the goddamn calvacade (Escalade) I have been waiting for a decade and now I can’t even use it cuz everyone bombs u on free mode so no point
Just think, with all predictions being right, we may only have 2 GTA O DLCs before we enter the world of Vice City again. Let’s hope they’re bangers, leave the world of Los Santos with a bang 🤞
This update isn't the worst, but the vehicle rob missions being weekly is just stupid, I do like the police cars but it would've been better if we could buy all of em like the N.O.O.S.E SUV, police bike and FIB buffalo also another thing I've noticed is the AI driving is even more broken as they are increasingly crashing into each other and me as a player lol
