Let's try to debunk the rumor that Yibo is mean or cold to girls..

Yibo is just being Yibo and I don't believe he has bad intentions. He may come off as cold in some situations, but I think he's just being his good ol' straightforward (and savage) self lol. Most of the time, because of how blunt he can come off (and how much of a gremlin he can be), he gets misunderstood.

Which is why sometimes we shouldn't be quick to jump to the conclusions on what we saw online these days. Many clips are edited and it's not always what we thought them to be. Everyone likes to have their own space. So when Idols or artist get to a point in place where someone gets to close to them... making it so difficult that they can't get thru the crowd. it's pretty obvious very uncomfortable!!! One never knows what to expect. So you have to be cautious. It's rude disrespectful.....Give them some space!! This way noone gets hurt. You'll get better a view of Yibo coming in or leaving the place. In my own opinion Yibo has a unique personality. If Yibo's uncomfortable in his surrounding believe me you will know.
but then again yall are being quite defensive here as well.... while he's not rude, he's still cold and slightly aloof to new people that he's not already acquainted with, isn't he? obviously that's part of his personality and there's nothing wrong with that but it's not gonna be acceptable to everyone all the time yknow? especially because this is showbiz and this is their job, whether or not we entirely like it WE made it this way. another hypothetical situation is, if this isn't yibo or another attractive talented idol people would sell their souls for, would people be as defensive? i don't mean just yibo, literally anyone that responds like him is bound to recieve negative reception as well.
He is kind to those who don't throw themselves at him. He does his job properly and isn't overly aware of the girls unless he has to be on guard. Some girls act the fool, even during his work. He can do well because this is his work but he won't do anything he doesn't want to. He has always made it clear that he doesn't hold girls to the unfair sexist standard and will not baby them or treat them as fragile glass. I think that is very good. But you can tell that flirting makes him very uncomfortable. As it should. It abandons respect.
Yeah. It it irks me when people try to make it seem like he dislikes women completely. He gets along with them just fine as long as they're not flirting with him. He had some sweet moments with the girls on Produce 101 as long as they were treating him like a friend instead of a crush. People just need to stop invading his space.

For example with Ting from Street dance of china! He had a whole prank cam and he held her hand and laughed and smiled at her normally. This is how i behave and everyone hates me. "How can you act like this? She is a girl" wtf does it even mean? I'll treat girls with respect but i will never act like they are delicate and weak. Yup, that’s what I love about him, he has so many sides and is such a great person but people often judge him by the first impression..
I just think he's straightforward and respectful. I remember seeing this one clip where he was at an event and something fell off the table and while he bent to pick it up, he turned away while doing so bc a girl wearing a skirt was standing close by. At the same event while toasting, he held his glass much lower than the girls, which is usually something you'd do for elders and seniors. He's shy and careful in his behaviour as someone who is a popular celebrity. But otherwise if he is comfortable with you, he's really kind, playful and friendly. The bts with wang zixuan and zhao liying are evidence of it.

No matter girls or boys, Yibo will just treat them as he truly feels. He's nice and polite to his co-workers. On the other hands, if you r rude to him, regardless of your gender, he'll show you his cold side. The copy guy n flirty girls from China Street dance 3 and the recent clingy photo guy are the best example. To sum up, he's very comfortable to be who he is. 🤗 P.S. If I do the analysis and follow up for my assignments as serious as I do on Yibo, I'm sure to get high scores.😂

Cool Boy only has the best intentions at heart albeit sometimes cheeky like on One More Try😂. We saw how he respected and appreciated good work and talent on SDC3, dancers like Cici and Da Ting. The people he picked fit the vision for his team (mainly hip hop/b-boys/choreo) and wasn’t gender based. He told Cici he would win a towel for her and he did💚💚. How amazing were his battle dances?! To me, he only teases Cheng Xiao because he is so comfortable with her, they’ve known each other for a long time. He’s had more interaction with her than with many people he’s met. This man-child has no disrespectful bone in his body. What you see is what you get. That’s a rare trait and most under appreciated.

I know it's a running joke that Yibo is cold to girls, but half the time he doesn't even realise what he's doing because it's not him being cold, it's just him being oblivious. He genuinely does not realise what he's doing wrong 😂 That being said, he doesn't ever purposely put a girl in an uncomfortable situation. He is a true gentleman when needed. He just doesn't sweeten up to them the way everyone expects boys his age to do, because he's being polite the way he is supposed to, doesn't mean he is interested in any other way and he makes that very clear. It would be very cool and comfortable if I ever get a friend like him😭 like the type that you could hang out or goofing around without having to sugarcoat or too formally with each other just because you're a girl. Being nice to girls does not mean you have to treat them like babies or only say "flowery" words to them. We can handle honesty, constructive criticism, competition, etc. just like anyone else. That is one of the main character traits Yibo is known for, his honesty. To me it seems like he treats everyone like his friend because he is so casual and just says whatever is on his mind. It's got nothing to do with the fact that they're girls. Huge common misconception. He's naturally distant from everyone until he gets to know them. And if they mesh well and he feels comfortable with them he'll be like a puppy following them around, smacking them, being dorky. That's his way. He's still very young and with time as he meets more people, he'll grow and evolve. It's all a part of growing up. Not everyone is the life of the party in a room full of strangers. He's his own young man and very much a gremlin lol.

Let's just understand that not all people can easily interact with others. Moreover, i love how he treats the girls. I think Yibo is just not someone who flatters anyone, but keeps it real. I think he's just good at enforcing personal boundaries even as a star, and I respect him for that. It seems like he was a bit uncomfortable with those women who were being flirty. I've seen stars play along for the sake of camera and people want that, but Yibo not doing so may seem as unusual and "cold" to some, but I feel that he's just drawing a line and being respectful. When you make him uncomfortable, he'll draw a line. When you're competing with him, he'll treat you as a serious opponent and take advantage of your weaknesses. When you have talent and work hard, he'll give you mad respect. When you ask him a question, he'll tell you what he truly thinks.
