  • Great test! I think Nio really need to fix the weird acceleration problem during autopilot. I think this is a key problem downgrading the range of the car. Also -1 °C certainly causes the range to drop, even if other Bjorn Videos are in even colder conditions ;-)

  • Regarding the Soundsystem. When I first got my ET5 in May, the Soundsystem were undertweaked and the bass that is in the trunk was horrible. But when the update Banyan 2.0 hit, the whole system was "upgraded" and the sound is so much better. I learn from this that the settings on the first models were not quite right. Very comfortable with the Soundsystem today. The only negative is there is lacking "punch" from the bass. Which is a subjective preference :) Regarding the Lidar, I have yet to experience any faults after 10 000 km. And I have experienced all types of weather in this time

  • I belive you ask some good questions when it comes to swap. 1. The possibility to swap will probably increase the degradation since owners "does not" care about the battery. Why keep charge below 70% if you can just swap 2. Swapping would replace a brand new battery with a old one when you buy a new car. The ET5T har deliveres with a battery that can handle 180kW charging. But then you swap... 3. You can just change the battery size as promised before. You have to re register the car with the DMV.

      @Arpedk@Arpedk5 ай бұрын
    • @@Arpedk The Highland not yet. As soon as I have the chance to sit in it I will go for it. But I know Tesla to good to be surprised by what I have seen so far. They still thrive for cost efficiency and this is still present in the M3 Highland. One example is the cheap carpet in the back of the car or the simplistic design language. Don't get me wrong but it is a very different feeling sitting in a NIO than sitting in an Tesla and NIO cars are very simplistic aswell but you can really feel the difference of Materials and Quality. To be fair thats what I am also expecting because NIO aims to be a premium brand like Audi, BMW, etc. From an Engineering standpoint Tesla is cost efficient oriented keeps everything at a certain level but doesn't invest to much energy into it.

  • Nio is a good car, but too "hungry" and expensive.

  • Calling this a "stasjonsvogn" is kind of silly. They have stretched that term quite far these days IMO.

    • I would say that Porce Taycan and Zeekr 001 is more "stretched" when it comes to that therm

    • @@bjornnyland These days the back is quite tapered and they don't seem as high in the back as they used to. After 2010 they got more and more tapered and the old almost vertical hatch has slowly gone. Only one I know that really have kept that flat even form all the back mostly is the Passat and to and Volvo.

  • If compared to Tesla is seems a lot heavier, less efficient, has lots of small issues and it's more expensive. You've really got to not want a Tesla to get one.

    • For me it is better built, more quiet, looks better has more room charges faster and you will never have to worry about the battery.

    • are you saying theres more panel gaps and rattling on the nio than tesla because both model 3 and y have been the worst built cars i have ever owned. Only exception of tesla is supercharging, BMS, motor and software. everything else is poor quality. I would buy a ET5 over a tesla anyday but its not available in my country.

  • For the price asked for a chinese car, nah, too expensive to be justified. And we wonder why there's inflation and the comfort is going away. Sellers hiking up prices and everyone doesn't give a damn, just has tunnel vision and looks at narrow aspects, not the big picture.

  • They used copy and paste from Tesla's UI a bit too much. Would never buy a Chinese car. It reminds me of the knockoff products I would find at a flea market like Sony with 3 ys.
