I Dont Know How She Does It Movie Trailer [HD]
IN THEATRES SEPTEMBER 16
Sarah Jessica Parker, Greg Kinnear, Pierce Brosnan, Olivia Munn and Christina Hendricks star in I Don't Know How She Does It, a comedy from director Douglas McGrath (Emma, Infamous) and producer Donna Gigliotti (The Reader, Let Me In). Based on the critically acclaimed bestseller by Allison Pearson, I Don't Know How She Does It follows a Boston-based working mother trying desperately to juggle marriage, children, and a high-stress job.
Kate Reddy (Parker) devotes her days to her job with a Boston-based financial management firm. At night she goes home to her adoring, recently-downsized architect husband Richard (Kinnear) and their two young children. It's a non-stop balancing act, the same one that Kate's acerbic best friend and fellow working mother Allison (Christina Hendricks) performs on a daily basis, and that Kate's super-brainy, child-phobic young junior associate Momo (Olivia Munn) fully intends to avoid. When Kate gets handed a major new account that will require frequent trips to New York, Richard also wins the new job he's been hoping for-and both will be spreading themselves even thinner. Complicating matters is Kate's charming new business associate Jack Abelhammer (Brosnan), who begins to prove an unexpected source of temptation.
Am I the only one that watches trailers for fun/entertainment?
Nope it's my new hobby lol. 😂
I do it to
me too
Def when u in 2020 amidst a pandemic 😂
Everytime I go through PMS.. they help with the sadness
huhuhu! his first hair cut! I MISSED IT!
"A recent study shows.." sounds like something carrie would start off saying...
The book this movie is based on was excellent. It described how hard it is to have work-life balance for career women in very realistic terms, and was far from cutesy. I have high hopes for this movie based on the original material.
Just can't imagine Carrie Bradshaw at a kindergarten bake sale😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't understand the point of bake sales ... just buy some cheap cake at the store and worry about it who cares ...
......fundraising.
Also some PTAs are huge sticklers about that kind of crap
Two of my favourite actors....how perfect
i actually love this movie. its realistic. struggles of a mother
I’m seeing this in 2018 and it says coming soon I loafed so hard 😂
Two of my favourite actors Sarah and pierce
FYI ! The beautiful song at 1:38 is Sabrina Starke "A Woman's Gonna Try" - check her out I LOVE her songs! Had to do a lot of clever googling to find out! Lx
odličan...edukativan..ponajprije za očeve !!!
2:13 this boy is a legend with his laugh
I remember watching this ages ago. Question - does her husband do ANY childcare or housework? I can't remember but doesn't look like it.
At the end haha
Super powerhouse cast, Greg and Pierce
Oh i want to see this movie. I'm 40 and with young kids and a busy career. My partner do almost 50-50 at home but he don't cook. We both do lists...that we never be able to accomplish!
Now time for him to learn to cook
Loved this movie. Really stuck with me.
Does Seth Meyers ever age? He looks amazing!!!
Cutest movie the mammogram excuse 😂 plus Pierce Bronson a doll❤❤
It was good but missed some of it going to watch it again
Song at the end: Sabrina Starke - A Woman's Gonna Try
realistically she would've left her man for Pierce Brosnan... just sayin'
Who wouldn't??
I know I would....hahaha
I’m in.
No... She does love the man she created her beautiful children with :)
@@saritapatil1788 I hope your not married. And if you are I hope you don't break his heart .
It's striking how there's no scene with the dad struggling to take care of his kids.. The kind of dad that thinks if he is taking care of the kids he is babysitting.
Iam JUST reading this book! Lol. Now i have motivation to complete it faster.
This film is so good and sometimes really sad
This movie is something!!!!
love this movie
This is definitely a movie I want to see!
Angelena Pulis no. Trust me you don’t. 👎
My Mom and Dad had 13 children and never missed a beat. Do a movie on her.
Woah. Yes! I'll watch that.
I really respect Sarah Jessica Parker since she's apparently been able through her roles to strike a chord with the female audience. That means that I respect her audience, so that must be some talent there that I, as a male (you fill up as many adjectives as you want - feel free to do it) simply cannot grasp. Sometimes my wife forces me (you know they have that power) to watch one of her films - it makes my wife happy and if she's happy then I'm happy too. Then back to action movies.
what's the song toward the ending?
where else did u copy n paste?
Linda pelicula
Love her
agree 100%
Love Greg kenerre too❤
I love it :)
I'm 26 and I'm dreading the time when I'll become her. Having to work but missing my children.
I feel exactly the same
Ok, so, I have seen the film already with this trailer ...
what mother's can do because of love! :)
What mothers are expected to do so that men don't have to change their lives.
@lashwynter Thank you!!
Hi
I can only think of SJP as Carrie
that's the guy from the last song
This is like a poor man's Sex in the City haha
I knw how she does it.. its called.. HUSTLE.. !!
It's called burnout and misplaced priorities. Baking for a school sale isn't important, buy the stuff or have the nanny do it. Nobody can do it all and live a healthy life and have healthy relationships.
@@SAS-ye3tz r u a mother because if ur not then i dont think u understand not everyone wants somebody else to do what they should be doing especially as a mother its not misplaced priorities her doing all of this is to let her children know that no matter what they are going through she will always be there for them whats the point hiring someone to decorate for christmas when most memories from people who celebrate anything is cooking and decoratin with there family its not a burnout and i dont think that u understand now just think about it if the genders were reversed the man would be seen as a hero and that cares about his children she shouldnt have to just focus of work beause if she did her kids would grow to think that she never cared for them or was never there this is what a superom looks like shes able to do many things and still be able to balance her work life with it i rlly dont think that u understand the plot of the movies as much ur picking out irrelevant things that arent what the movie was supposed to send out as a message
Lots of clips in the trailer arent even in the film :/
Funny thing is there comes a time when we are old and wrinkled. We will miss being this busy! But nothing will turn back time.
There a difference between hectic and fulfilled.
you don’t know how she does it, yet she has a nanny to help her out...
She still is a mother, and wants to be.
That happend in the middle of the movie ...
Lol. Do you think motherhood is any easier with a nanny?
@@shubhajaggi5487 yes. You have more time. And because of that more money for stuff. That makes it easier than having no Job and trying to get through. Also you have more time for yourself, even if its just at work. My best friend has 3 kids and does well, but she doesnt have one minute alone. I cant say that is good for our friendship, even if i love her kids... They need time.
@@anja6983 Not meaning to be judgemental, but you obviously don't have kids yet :) Mom's hiring nannies face different issues (guilt, like here Sarah feels she missed the 1st haircut, judgement from other women like you and me, insecurity and further guilt about leaving her kids alone, and financial loss ofcourse) My point isn't to go on justifying it, or to fetch another long winded justification from you. My only take is always that every mother is unique, everyone's journey is different and the least we can do as a woman is respect the power of CHOICE.
سلام دوستان .چرا پخش نمیشه فیلمها.لطفان راهنماییم کنید
How about she doesn't have a choice? 💀💀😂😂💪💪. Ppl will only help you for so long.. Appreciate that help with everything within you.. 😂😂.. I appreciate to the fullest capacity ALL the help I received while taking care of my now grown kids.. 💪💪💪
No I watch hundreds
1:04 Mars attacks?
Net gezien .💖.
1:23 awww XD missed first haircut...
Oh cool, they made a movie about my mom
Stay at home and relax! get a tenant, downsize, whatever you need to do and enjoy life. The kids will be gone before you know it.
Very simple. She was doing all of it happily, no stress involved. She never felt it was stressful eventho8gh she was doing a lot. Until 1 one stranger interfered and messed up with everything she does. He poked his nose into everything she did. Now, she has so much less to do. Yet, she finds it stressful because she didn't like it anymore.
She sounds like Meredith from greys anatomy
@TheQuinncyjones haha i was thinking the same thing
Just look after your kids! They grow up in an instant.
She is a lady i look up to
6 kids and going 💪....
@@janematthew7109 wait....no 😂😂😂😂
how does she , she has 3 nannys for her 2 real life kids LOL
mrtigsgirl Really 3 nannies? Thats too much
I'm pretty sure this was on disney channel or nickelodeon growing up..
Moral of the story: don't have kids or they will ruin your life, your marriage, your sanity
So...... Carrie Bradshaw with kids?
What is the name of the second song in the trailer.?
duffy mercy
a woman’s gonna try
Kinda cute I suppose.
Why doesn’t the husband help? I watched till the end and can see he was suggesting a few things but it bothers me how she works full time , not a stay at home mum, yet she does the drop off, cooking etc . It’s just not fair
I wonder if Sarah Jessica Parker felt like that throughout her acting career.
Why is the woman crying?
Nanny, lots of money, piblic school.....
First world problems.
The start of the trailer sounds like sex and the city
Intentional marketing. The promo poster has four women too, including the red-haired lawyer friend.
omg i can't watching her in this role.....she is carrie from sex and the city for me!when i looked at her lying on bed on this trailer she so reminded me of carrie!
olivia muuunnnn
IS THHIS JUST ME about first hair cut HAIR THING
mom of 16 kiddos, all mine at birth and think this looks god! ill see- can relate!!
16 kids!!! you're a superhero! wish to have 8 of my own one day. how do you do it???
Omg 😨 16 kids ? Congratulations. Personally for me I want 1 healthy kid that's it .
Whatever this is I don't want it for my home life. I want a stay at home wife.
where's the top comment?! xD
The book was so boring, I couldn't finish it. The movie looked okay.
Wait is her youngest turning 3 still in a diaper not pull-ups a
Sex and the city!!! 😁
TANKA FETAST VAR HÄR!!!!
Terrible she knew what was going on when the movie started I saw he wanted her
Is this a movie centered around a horse caring for her young calf?
That's why if you want to have a family it's best to be prepared to be a stay at home mom while your children are young
I agree. Something will fall short. I want a career so I'm not having kids. My dad worked two jobs so my mom could stay home with us until we were old enough to go to school. She always thanks him for that.
T
Can we have some oats for the horse please?
in America there’s no life/work balance and Americans are okay with it. Families come second. I guess it’s okay with them putting $$$ above all human needs. This movie is about most Americans. It’s sad life.
give me a top comment :P
The Weinstein Company presents... hmmmm..
OMG... HOOOOORSE!!! :D
Pésima pelìcula. Aburrida x1000
I didn't know the used real horses in this movie.
they actually made a movie starring a horse
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww Sarah Jessica Parker. :(
And that's why One parent has to work and the other has stay home for kids. It's nature for God's sake !
so one person can follow their dreams and accomplishments and one cant? otherwise you cant have kids? stupid comment.
Rozz Ok I'll try to give you a smart thing. what is more important? establishing a family or dreams and accomplishments?
My parents weren't stay at home parents, and I still have had a healthy and happy childhood. It's about finding balance. My Dad runs his own Law Firm=a lot less time. But he always makes sure to spend an hour with my sister and I in the morning and eat dinner with the whole family at night. He and I also have our GOT Marathons together. My Mother is the main breadwinner of our family, and despite all the demands of her at work, she makes time for me (somehow). It is possible, it just requires an idea of time commitments. Of course, it probably helps that there were 5 1/2 years between my sister and I.
Both my parents work and i’ve had a fine childhood. Sure some days my parents have been exhausted but my mom even tried to stay at home and she couldn’t do it, she said herself that she needed having something productive other then taking care of kids to help her get through her days. I’m not sure about how you were raised but both my parents definitely preferred to work and do what they wanted, but I still got time to be with them and we still went on vacations and did everything a normal family does. Honestly I liked the fact that both my parents work because it also gave me some alone time, and not always have someone’s else there, even if it was my parent. And as to your comment about it just being nature, that’s completely untrue and sexist. As I said before my mother loves her work and finds having a job so much better for her mentally than staying at home all day, and my dad loves his job. So don’t say thinks like it being “nature” for one parent to stay home where a good bit of two adult families in America, both of the parents work, and their kids still receive an adequate childhood.
Asaad Luaibi ohh pls... ths is why both parents have to share responsibilities of the children..
in America there’s no life/work balance and Americans are okay with it. Families come second. I guess it’s okay with them putting $$$ above all human needs. This movie is about most Americans. It’s sad life.
