  • I have a 2002 GMC Chevy Savanna 3500 with a cage. Just like this one. I love my van. 350,000 miles on it and still runs awesome. Wish I had $$ to do what you did with yours. Good Job

I'm working on my van now with hope to be camping by next summer. Then a few runs to make sure everything is GtoG before we head to Alaska. Wanna go visit my army buddy in Kenai Peninsula. Great job

    @charliestrickland6194@charliestrickland61942 жыл бұрын
    • Thank you! We don't seem to have that problem at all with our cooler. I do put warm water in my 6 gallon water jugs when I fill them to prevent condensation.

  • I’ve got the same van, have hopes of building out something close to how good yours looks. Only issue is I have a slider door on the side instead of barn doors, any suggestions from you or any others as to what to do with that space? Thanks

    @Obscamping@Obscamping2 жыл бұрын
    • If I had bought a van with a slide door, I would have built the van the same way. I probably figure out how to make the ARB screen room work, probably the same way.. Allow the door to slide in the room after the magnets are attached.. IDK

  • Is it diesel? Did you get the fuel operated auxiliary heat generator option? Very cool build

    @tombeneteau819@tombeneteau819 Жыл бұрын
    • Our van isn’t a diesel. We use a propane heater for a few minutes if we get cold. Since our van isn’t AWD we don’t drive it in the winter. Thanks for the comment. (Side note. My work van(Mercedes Sprinter)is a diesel and there is a diesel heater in the back)

  • I have 1 question. It is well laid out and made. You have a cute dog, and if it were possible I'd like to reach through the screen and pet his head...... the 1 question? does your rig have a bathroom?

    @robertdragoff6909@robertdragoff69093 жыл бұрын
    • It does not. It does have an emergency bucket toilet located in my utility closet. When ever I get around to doing a Van tour, I hope to show the van in more detail.

      @AlaskaCamperVan@AlaskaCamperVan3 жыл бұрын
  • Nice job. How much did the conversion cost you?
