On November 3, 2023, the X anniversary summit of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Astana. The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan took part in its work, and Hungary and Turkmenistan acted as observers.
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that it is important to ensure the synchronous development of the Turkic states, and it would also be advisable to systematize the standards and terminology of our states.
