  • £50,000 for a 20 second time advantage is very generous. There isn't a massive amount of difference between playing two of them and playing all five - obviously they're all top class quizzers, so unless the questions tend towards areas which the first two aren't specialists in but one of the others is, there probably isn't much advantage in only taking on two. That said, each missed question loses about 5 seconds on the clock, so even if two of them only miss one more than all five would have done, that could still be crucial.

    • They were generous with their offers because its a celebrity episode. Also, the difference between 2 chasers and 5 is absolutely huge. The knowledge base is much bigger.
