Always think that goal gets forgotten because of how the match ended. It’s equally as good as Zidane’s volley in the 02 final.
All beautiful goals, but Ramires vs Barcelona is my favorite. There is just something about that goal for me, the calmness, the technique for the chip, the importance of that goal (not because we needed one goal, but it killed the Barcelona team spirit, prior to that goal it was onslaught of attacks from Barca, their attacking tempo was reduced) his celebration (doing a silly dance while Barcelona fans were going mad with hate).

Ramires goal killed Barca’s spirit lol? In the 2nd half Barca had almost 20 shots and a penalty missed. Only god know how Chelsea conceded 2 goals in 180 minutes. 4 times Barca hit the post 1 penalty missed 3 1vs1 chances missed
It is RIGHT up there!!! What a crucial and crippling moment. When everything was against us. I watched with a friend and our stream died for a few seconds just enough for us to miss the whole thing... and we saw 2-1 and then the replay!!! Then jumped like a bunch of mad kids hahahha.

Drogba goal vs Everton is the first goal I remember watching as a kid and going absolutely mad for. Terry was out for most that season and our defence shipped so many goals . Everton had gone 2-1 up, lamps scored a great equaliser that in itself could have been on this real ... and then the king smashed that in. Every game that Chelsea struggled in that season, Drogba turned up and found a way to keep us in the title race and win us two cups. Blue through and through. If we ever build a new stadium, the man deserves a stand named after him.
100% agree. This match against Everton wasn't easy at all. If I remember well, Chelsea only led on the very last minute of the game, thanks to Drogba's magic.

By countless FA Cups you mean 6. That's less in the same time period than Arsenal. Chelsea have definitely dominated the last 20 years though. Though rarely ever with what people who consider the 'best' side. There were maybe a year here or there you could say Chelsea were the actual best side in the country on paper but they always managed to win out when it mattered with the right kinds of players and magic from some.

As an avid Chelsea supporter for over 30 years, I don’t mind admitting that this video brought back to mind, several amazing players for us that I’d all but forgotten, and whose contribution to our club justifies their never being forgotten. In my defence, when you support a club that is home to such an array of world-beating talent year after year, it’s understandable that my old brain forgets things from time to time. Kudos to anyone else who has supported since the early 90s and can hand on heart say that there were no faces in this video that made them think “oh yeah! He was an amazing player for us back then!” 👍

I remember Drogba scored a similar turn and first time volley against Barca in the CL group game, that was class too. Alex has another thunderbolt free kick vs arsenal that almost broke the net and the neck of the audience between. Hazard at his prime is another level.
