Being able to adjust the inventory using a save wizard unlocks a lot of potential! Beating the game only using the Whistle or to continue your Throwing Knife saga!
Yeah I'm not sure if I can adjust inventory limits though. Throwing knives is basically impossible otherwise

@@JKLeedsYou can make some items have unlimited usage if you mess around in advanced mode. I managed to make blood vials and bullets. Or you can give yourself many stacks of the same thing. Also, you can make the most busted gems known to man, it's great

Actually Gatling guns ( not chain guns and although not one handed ) have been around a lot longer than you would think. I think they go back at least as far as the civil war so its possible they were around in Victoria era id have to look it up

Awesome video! Something that might help with future runs that require a ton of bullets is something I learned doing a Simon bowblade run. Slotting in 3 of the communion runes actually give you far more bullets to work with than using the formless Oedon runes.

I'd honestly be fine with using the Save Editor to max out your Vials and Bullets in storage in future runs.

Orphan is the only boss in the series that doesn't feel unfair but I also can't get it down. It never takes toooo many tries, but it's still on edge every time, unlike O&S or other popular roadblocks, that feel much easier now.
I beat it on the first try. The pizza cutter takes no prisoners.

Logarius was certainly the hardest boss when I did the a gun only run, with the longer startup of the gatling gun I can imagine that would’ve gun even worse. Great job persevering, even if you had to revolve around to some other bosses to up your damage first

18:20 Mergo's wet nurse was the final boss for me on my first ever playthrough cause I let Gherman kill me. I was so confused because it did not feel like a final boss in the slightest.

I actually like that you started the run with the gun. It can be a bit of a slog watching some challenge runs get started and sometimes it is detrimental to follow the challenge religiously. Like when there is one small obstacle preventing the run form continuing and they just end the run early. I’d rather see the run all the way through knowing that a few rules had to be broken.

That pulsing gem for Orphan was the best part of this run. Passive regen is bae, especially on bloodtinge or arcane because you'll never be fully out of options until you run out of patience. Edit: Definitely want to see more Bloodborne runs, BB and DS2 are my favorite games for challenge runs because they have the most weird little tactics to take advantage of, like pulsing gems for infinite blood bullets.

Ngl I kind of wish more challenge runs would just use hacks instead of "so here's how I used glitches and exploits to defeat every boss between me and this item as well as grind the correct amount of souls" like it just gets incredibly samey.

honestly, respect bro for going through that pain of beating him with the buff did a gun only run and gave myself the liberty of doing one heavy attack behind him (while he charging up) so he doesn't get the buff...i would of gone insane if i didnt lol
I really appreciate the fact you chose to do a niche gun run, and I appreciate it even further that you stayed true to the nature of the run, the sheer lack of glitches, save for the funny chalice, is commendable, and the fact you did every single notable boss in the entire game save for chalice dungeons is incredible, especially seeing as the other gun runs that come to mind, namely ymfah, use a heavy focus on parrying and dual weilding and abuse of BMA, frankly i didn't think the gatling gun had enough damage per bullet to beat the game but you sure showed me! honestly really impressive work.

There are 2 more blood stone chunks in cainhurst castle on the very top floor b4 you go outside up the spiral staircase. Run all the way across an in the middle theres a lil scurry beast who drops 2. Nice vid tho man!

Would the Gatling gun work with in tandem with a set of stun needle launchers? I find that gattling guns alone don’t seem to reload fat enough when facing bosses

Idk if you know or not but there’s antidotes in the back of bsb arena, blood bullets actually scale higher with blood tinge so they do more damage so it’s more optimal to max vials instead of bullets

my favorite build I ever did in this game (granted ive only done like 3) was using the stake driver and gatling gun together for the ultimate doom/quake experience I never really cared much for the gun parry mechanic, so the gatling gun was much more my speed.

If you didn't know, you can actually make the Hemwick witches boss even easier by entering the arena a second time with zero insight since you'll automatically get one for entering the first time. Just activate first, bail out with a hunters mark, spend your insight and return. The witches won't be able to summon any shadow things to slowly lumber around the arena at you so it just becomes a basic game of hide and seek.
Missed a “lizard” in cainhurst. (After you take that ladder you have to reveal run along the sides until you find it) There are also a couple “lizards” that drop chunks in the nightmare frontier.
