For RAID specifically, please give disclaimer of how profficiently they coax people into micros with punishing RNG? It is quite egregious, easily spending 50+ on what looks significant and instead receiving fraction of advertised. Pleaae at least warn if using them for nom-adsense?
Yeah, RAID is easily one of the most predatory games out there when it comes to micro transactions. All of their "events" literally revolve around players having to spend money. There is NO WAY to get most (definitely not all) of the rewards w/o dropping cash. Truly a shitty game.

One thing that should be mentioned is that if you upgrade primal items to 395 you can then convert them into vault heroic tier set appearance, so if one is after the heroic mogs of vault of incarnates that's a full set right there
unfortunately you only have 6 revival charges per character though, and I've already used 2 so I wont be able to make the full set.
@@AshRektum You can bank a maximum of 6, but you can get more after you spend them.
And also you cant upgrade them with valor. So its not a good idea upgrading them to raid set.
If i convert a 395+ mythic dungeon item to a tier set, does it have the same transmog effect?

I think you forgot to mention that you can actually trade the 385 tokens with anyone in the group/raid if the same mob was tagged by both of you, it has a 2 hour trade window just like dungeon/raid loot.
Since launch I've killed the world boss weekly & I've never received 395ilv gear from any one of the 4 dragons that are up, forbidden reach has helped reach ilv 396 with the rares & amulet no thanks to the world bosses that only dropped gold for myself
one quick tip too: you can actually buy more rings, for 10 Currency if you multi-spec so you don't have to keep changing Stones

I feel like maybe they should have had Storm Sigils drop from rares also. Either that or just increase what you get for the Primal Core turn-ins
I have found storm sigils almost impossbile to get.
The elemental overflow gear vendor is also present on the island, just behind the flight path. No need to hearth or fly back on your alts to buy items.

I've gotten the ring on my main (ilvl currently 399) but it sucks because it doesn't have secondary stats, and the stones suck as well given what they offer, so i stopped carrying about going to forbidden reach at all and went back to doing m+.
What should i do with all of this surplus elemental overflow (literally)
Can you farm Forbidden Reach rares or are they dailies?

One note about the gear tokens. They are BoA, but if you are in a party with someone, you can trade them with the same 2 hour trade timer as dungeon loot. Me and my boyfriend found this out last night while questing. So as long as you were eligible to have looted it from the mobs.

I wish they had made getting sigils easier, still only come from doing storms in the regular DF zones. Had a fresh 70 get a full set of 359 gear but not really a quick way to upgrade it.

actually it seems that, at least for now, annulet is not worth it for most classes as crafted rings or raid rings are still better overall so at the end of the day its just a ilvl bump if you need it. If you are heavy into mythic + or mythic raiding you will likely want to avoid using it

That 395 item lvl gear can also be transmog items for heroic tier appearances
I don't think the ilvls should be higher but being able to take that raging tempest gear to the 395 or whatever default 'base' ilvl they want people at now would be useful, I've got 4 plate sets of gear and a single mail drop so far, making those universal 'gloves for whichever class opens this' would be more useful
Definitely wish it was universal. I understand why they didn't do that. You don't have to play as much if they're universal because you'll gear faster, but it's super annoying getting literally 5 cloth drops to 1 of any other, and I have only 1 cloth wearer that I care to gear.

Regarding the overflow method, you are suggesting you take your fresh 70 alt to the reach and try to kill rates correct? Because elemental overflow is not account wide iirc. So my questions are: Can a fresh alt go to the reach right away? Wouldn't doing anything there on an alt be tedious since the mobs are so tanky?
My repsonse is a bit too late, but if it helps I was 70 on my alt troll mage and there were so many people hitting the rare spawns that we just mowed them down. Super easy to kill them but annoying getting the cloth gear drop

The set effects have been broken since launch. I was looking forward to seeing is that damage was worth anything but it just stacks and doesn't actually go off

I liked it better with shadowlands where you just spend anima to buy catch up gear and you can send anima to alts. Easy enough for even new players to get behind but this catch up is only good for alts new players are screwed in more ways than one.
I think the most disappointing thing about the Annulet, is the lack of secondary stats.
You’re not understanding the true power of the procs/modifiers that get socketed into it then…Also, from a PvP perspective they’re incredible which you may say, “So who cares or I don’t PvP or Blizz shouldn’t cater to just them…” However, most of the tier sets and set bonuses coming out are irrelevant to PvP and I honestly believe this was an olive branch to offset the tier bonuses while providing applicable sockets for BOTH PvE and PvP. I’d encourage you to really look at what can be socketed…there’s easily cases to be made for M+, Raiding, and PvP
@@Ace561wpb For most if not all classes, the 424 annulet with optimal primordial stones is a downgrade compared to an equivalent ilvl or even lower ilvl ring. For example for BM the 424 annulet w optimal stones is equivalent to a 412 ilvl normal ring and for fury its equivalent to a 405ilvl ring... so not really useful. You can find the thorycrafting for all classes on wowhead. Regarding PvP the ring's effects are nerfed by 70% so useless here too. Overal the annulet is a fun item but a major letdown compared to whats already in the game in terms of power level.

the Gear Tokens are great, but it would be nice if you can buy them using Overflow, RNG sucks and i havent seen a single weapon as of yet, nor a trinket.

0:00. I REALLY like that visual. The titan ruins/structure in the Deepholm-like crystal cavern aesthetic. Gorgeous. It reminds me a bit of the central temple in Deepholm, though I've always wondered why the architecture of that place (where the Pillar of Earth was housed) looked very similar to Titan architecture. Also giving me Blackreach vibes.
Storm sigils are what you get for completing future winter zone boss, right? So shouldn't be too awful hard to upgrade that elemental overdrive gear, should it? Idk storm sigil gear costs or if that future winter area is a once a week thing.
They are time gated. You can get 11 a week in total iirc: 1 for the weekly quest of gathering 75 elemental overflow (so yeah, kill one mob now :p), 2 for the first primalist future boss and 2 each for handing in the token of each elemental storm (fire,air, earth, water)
Is there anything that you need to do to unlock weapon, trinket, neck and ring tokens? have done introduction, storyline and every rare and treassure I could get my hands on on 5 different characters but have yet to get a single 1 of them.
Not as far as I know, should just be a random drop.

Just go to dungeon journal, put custom and chose the *vault key farming* they are spamming the same rout inside the room full of elites, if u have a few friends u can get ur hands on rings weapons and trinkets fast, they are tradable.. Do this fast before blizzard nerf it
This. I'd really love to see them add the ability to buy tokens with some Elemental Overflow currency, Just like on the Timeless Isle you could get the random drops or buy from a vendor. Trying to get two rings and 2 trinkets for my alts so I can send them into the solo vault without dying instantly is kind of a mess. I keep going back to the Primalist Future for the trinkets just so I have something to slot there.
Ive killed about 100+ of the rares already - only one weapon token dropped so far - Horrendous RNG on them. It's not a viable way to option a weapon crafting would be better.
Finally i can farm gear in just ONE spot, thx god.
the Keys drop off basically everything and the knowledge off rares, or bound chests. i would suggest find a group that runs those Rares they take about 30mins to respawn after map is cleared 1 time and keep running over and over again. youll have full sets for all alts easy. for the Vault youll need 28 keys weekly.

You don't need any items. You just use charges on the revival catalyst. There's a macro to see how many charges you have banked per character. The revival catalyst itself does not display number of charges you have.

44 hours playing with my druid and I have him full 395 ilvl and have allot gear for my other alts, this expansion is so great in terms of gearing up. Warclaw zandalari druid twisting nether Europe. You can see my gear, just missing 1 trinket
The Annulet is very... unbalanced? A maxxed out Annulet with best gems, perform very different on classes. For example a frostmage with a 370ilevel ring performs better than a 424 maxed annulet (the lack of secondary stats), but for a feral druid a 424 annulet performs on the same level as a 431!!!!!!! ilevel normalring.
Bit now raider are like hour wait if not more ( I end up giving up ) cuz no one raiding lol

You WILL get MORE tokens for gear types that aren't yours than you will for your gear type. Also, the item to upgrade the gear from 385 to 395 has a super low drop rate.
I did farm that just for 1 day and I got every piece of gear, besides legs upgraded to max

The items are obviously great for twinks and the ring is great until you hit somewhere around the 400 ilvl mark. (at least for my BM hunter) From what I have seen at the dummies, At my current iLVL of 408 I lose about 10% AOE damage if I switch from my 411 Valkyr ascension signet for the new ring at 411 and do just about the same damage on single target. The situation is worse for single targen when I switch it for the signet of Melandrus and less severe for AOE. (haste/mastery loss vs crit/haste autoattack bonus loss ) Raidbots simulations paint a very similar picture, although the difference in MT is lower than in my tests (about 4% loss vs my tested 10+%.) and raidbots favours melandrus over Valkyr, which is ridiculous. On 5 targets Valkyr is way stronger than melandrus. I have the ring socketed with the freezing and desirous gems and third is the obscure pastel that icreases the proc chance of the other two from what I have seen. Maybe upgrading it to 424 will change things more in favour of the ring, at least as long as you compare a 424 ring vs. a 411 ring. My bet is, a 415 valkyr or melandrus would still beat the 424 Annulet. All in all, for a ring around which a whole update is centered, it is impressively underwhelming. Losing 4-5% haste/mastery on top of 3-4% crit is not nearly compensated by the flat 10% damage contribution from the ring. Espacially if you lose the 5% mastery on AOE.

Blizzard just can't help themselves with the RNG loot - good luck getting the weapon token - I hope you like having to kill 500+ of these rares - Just put a vendor on the island and let people buy the tokens with elemental overflow - or Lower the Storm sigil requirement one to upgrade not 14 for weapons.

Wowhead's post is not accurate. Don't just check the list and socket what they suggest, do some testing. For example, WoWhead suggets Echoing thunder stone for 3/6 situations on my fury warrior. I got that stone on my first run through the vaults, tested it out and it did so little damage that it didn't even register on my meters, where as my other two stones did 200k and 400k damage in 1 minute.
the storm sigils need removed. We dont need that time gate anymore. upgrade with overlfow instead.

The tokens are driving me INSANE. I just came back to WoW and have gotten well over 35 tokens on my main, but only like 4 of them were leather. I have, however, gotten FULL sets of cloth and mail, and most of the plate set. None of which I have a use for :/ I've also yet to see a single weapon drop.
Yup - Blizzard one step forward two steps back - FIRE the developer who is in love with RNG loot FIRE HIM. He is consistently sabotaging the game. Put in a vendor with the tokens it's that easy
@@audiojake8 I was able to complete my set by joining a token farming group in LFG and spamming Elemental Storms! Everyone trades what they don't need to others in the group, and there is p much always a group up if a storm is up.
Blizzard stated they’re more for gearing up alts than anything. That was the point.

The ring has 1 stat- Stamina that's it. What should be a BIS Ring for every class turns out to be a POS.
This video, while well done, could be 15 secs long. As long as you're 70 and completed the main story line, Blizzard is basically barfing out Primordial gear, just from doing the Reach (as in, it's a reach to call it "new content"), killing mobs at the Elemental & Future Storms and I believe also from doing World Quests. At this point, Blizzard is basically screaming, "make more alts! have every prof covered within your own account such that the AH is rendered meaningless" I have enough gear to create every class from scratch and have em be weapon & armor equipped at ilvl 385 as soon as they ding 70.
The ring is only good til 10.1? Damn what’s the point then….
I’m sure someone can fact check but I found the fastest way to get the 385 ilvl (catch up gear) loot is doing the old primal storm events. All the mobs in the events have a decently high chance of dropping the gear and it’s tradable so just find a farming group and you’ll be in full 385 in an hour

DO NOT BOTHER GETTING AMOLATE! at 424 with all stones you want power is same as 390 gear. Just get 415 gear and use that.
I don't think they thought through having so many rares up at one time. Right now there are a lot of people... but I'm guessing in the next week or so there will not be enough people at 1 rare to kill it
