It looks really good, only I don't think their spines are bending enough. The Deer looks good though
thats what i thought so too! their backs seem a bit stiff ❤
Critical much

Whoa I'd love to see those in a video game, they're pretty realistic!

BlueWereWolf fallout 5
That's exactly what I thought too :D
while the animation might not be the top notch polished ones, the modeling texturing and rendering is pretty out of the world. keep it up ~! its awesome :D
All the animals are missing that up and down motion which provides the creatures with weight, but yes lovely models. 2:43 in particular, you can almost imagine a crane holding up the animal as it's trying to walk. It's like walking whilst being carried.
Ken Tan the equines were actually pretty dang polished. My only problems were with some things just needing a little bit more movement.
Yes! It’s vey good, but he could add more animation with the back.
They all look floofy
The coloring is very impressive, but the animation is missing the subtler movements that make a creature come alive. Weight on the feet, hair moving after body mass, that sort of thing. Most noticeable to me were the cats, both big and small. Front feet don't pivot in one plane. When a cat picks up it's front feet, the foot angles toward the middle as it swings forward. That then makes the paw appear to hit the ground outer toes first, then inner toes second. Cats and lions are elastic and their bodies move fluidly. Their motion "rolls" ; from the sway of the spine to the rocking of the shoulders, to the way the paws engage the ground. You're animations are close though. Perhaps observe some actual feline walking sequences. Domestic cats walk the same way, but without the weight on their paws so much. Oh, and also your deer are too stiff. They are longer limbed too. They move in short periods, stopping to listen or graze frequently. They walk only in groups most of the time, and the ears are constantly listening for danger.
Inu no Taisho deer hop a lot too lol
But it's for the walk cycles, not the other features. Can you read?
Bon_Bon64 :3 salty, much? He/she meant to say some advice only
Smart Obsession try me.
Smart Obsession This is constructive criticism so stop acting stupid, and also to critique you do not have to do it yourself that’s like saying to eat food you need to know how to make it.
AND I WOULD WALK 500..... wait wrong vid

This is awesome, and you did an extremely good job. Just a tip, though, the movements (especially on the run cycles), could be jerkier and have more sway. You did really good on this with your lion, wolf (the second one), husky, and polar bear. But excellent art and animation overall. :)
Imagine if this was a video game and you control these animals and more in an open world!!! That would be amazing!!! I don't think there's a game like this
Oh.. I'll check them, thanks : )
wg girl there is games for mobile and computer like this by a company called gluten free games. There animation isn’t this good though.
Goat simulator?
Wildcraft
Ima Patato Wildcraft doesn't have this good of a animation
They all look amazing~ I love that penguin one XD
2:12 Would that wolf walk 500 miles? And walk 500 more?(Sorry)
Wolfie9999 ._.
*high five*
You're not asking the real questions… Does he have a brand new combine harvester, and will he give you the key?
Wolfie9999. Yes they do walk 500 everyday
Yup. And more. And more.
They look great! Although, the upper half of the bodies seem to be a little stiff, while the legs are doing most of the work.
Not gonna lie, the cat in the first clip kinda had swag
of memes and men The greyhound and wolf also have swag
My cat could not stop watching this. Completely mesmerized for 7 minutes straight.
And so this person went on into animating the popular movies we see today
The penguin running is everything
The penguin one was incredible. The walk made the texture and rendering look even more realistic.
You can totally see the improvement! You used the shoulder joints more and more as you went along, which is great. The only one I really have a beef with is the bison run; it's back legs seem to barely touch the ground. I feel like an animal of that size would impact the ground with a lot more force. Otherwise keep up the great work.
woah thats crazy how realistically fluffy they look
The cats were so cute. All of the animations look so good!
You are so talented, the best of people get the least attention. Keep doing what you do
As someone who only models interiors and exhibition stands in 3dmax I think this looks like some magic trick, amazing!
Why do I find this so entertaining? Idk why but I love them all! Keep up the great work!
thx for posting this, it's REALLY useful for studying walk cycle animations :DD
ninesune a lot of these are very inaccurate so i wouldn’t look at them as a ref
SoulCat Productions. The designs of the animals you could use as a ref
5:25 tripped me up, i was like, "Wait hold up...what?" xD
What a FANTASTIC compilation of your work xx
So realistic!! These are far better than most CG movies today.
Awwww they are all so cute and amazing animations i love it Im also a animal lover so i absolutely love these animations
man! this is amazing! cant you do some tutorials??? Nice job....
Yes.Soon I will start making tutorials about the modeling, texturing and rigging my animals....
thanks! A lot... youre good... a lot.. nice job =)
waiting tutorial broown
Martin Cvetkov Are you still going to make them? :D
I am also interested, even if you make it for one animal it would be great for me, I am a beginner in 3D modeling.
Man this is really amazing , the models, texture , and the movement , great job .
Absolutely incredible work! Highest praise!
Penguin one is the most realistic! But I like every single one! They are fantastic!
you need slightly more torso movement on the running, but besides that looks perfect to me!
god it's so amazing to see the improvement with each model, I wanna cry *looks at my first model with 12 thousand triangles, boolean and subdivision surface*
I can watch this all day
7:11 I thought that was an actually penguin. XD
Go make an animated movie XD I would totally watch it and btw I loved this.
I thought I would have a hell of a laugh but it's not what I thought. Great animation, texture, lighting and details.
The penguin running really got me laughing. :P Overall those were incredible! I love how well you captured the swing in the back animals walk. Great work.
The running cycle of the lion was fantastic. As for the walking, i suggest making the front torso to rely or be more shaggy as lions often crouch unconsciously when walking. I'm not really sure though, 'cause i'm just an amateur on animals :P
do it yourself -_-
The *very* first one was kinda stiff. Other than that, I say it’s perfect.
Very.first.one.was.kinda.stiff
Yeah the knees were bending to in a weird way like they were sharp corners
Okay these are quite possibly the most well animated animals I’ve ever seen.
Those are so well-made!
7:12 me when I missed the school bus
Really awesome!! I will say one thing, I know hind legs are super hard to animate, and the foxes walk animation, its hind legs looked a bit, ' stiff ' Im not criticizing Im just letting you know😊😊 Good job!
The improvement from the first ones to the last ones is amazing! It notices how much attention you paid to the whole body instead of only the legs (although I believe the penguin running looks a tad bit robotic, or maybe it's just weird to see a penguien running)
This is stunningly good!!!
This dude has the basic motions down, but the subtleties..... aren't really there. The animation isn't smooth. While there are parts of an animal that move in jerky ways, the limbs, body, and, well... most everything is too stiff. When parts of an animal move, it distorts the area affected by and around the movement. Muscles bulge, tendons pull taught, skin stretchs and creases.... it all effects each other. Here, it just feels like they paid attention to the individual parts.... but not how they fit together. It's much too robotic. It's definitely the most apparent when you look at the limbs, but you can see the stiffness around the ears, neck, and tail. I'm not the best with words so, TL;DR: IT JUST DOESNT "FLOW"! *grumbles* even if you stripped these animations down to their literal skeletons, the gaits are just URGH!!! I'm by no means a pro in any sense of the word (and I've only ever done 2D animations) but it still frustrates me. You don't need to be able to point out every single muscle and what it does to be good at animation (though it would certainly help), but you need to know the "blocks" of shapes that form the main muscles and how they "flow" into each other. Sorry for ranting, I'm into art and also ill at the moment.
Dude he's using 3dsmax, not Houdini..
I’m not familiar with that program, I haven’t had the opportunity to work in 3D yet :P but anyways, ya, he’s not a houdini but it’s not a magic trick that I’m talking about. The movement of body parts affect other body parts, so I’m just saying I want to see more of that. Not saying it’s easy...... just saying it could be more polished. With quality models like that, you can really work some wonders!
Houdini is the name of an actual high end 3d program, compared to which 3dsMax is a toy. Everything you described can be done in H16.5
PFFT I’m sorry! I thought you were saying that he needed to be a houdini to animate like that! xD I’ve wanted to try doing stuff in 3D, but I haven’t had the chance and I’m unfamiliar with all the programs out there. Sorry for the misunderstanding, haha
I agree with you completely. Whilst his modelling skills are good, the animations lack fluidity and the spines definitely don't bend nearly enough. Plus, the tails always seem to move oddly, and the head/neck movement isn't correct in lots of them. Still, you can see their slight improvement between the first and last!
this should be a game!!!!!!!!!! like if u agree
The models look great and the textures and renders are amazing, the animations look like a good start, they're a bit stiff but way better than anything I've ever done, good work! The best was definitely the lion
Bears look sooooo good! Especially the polar bear 😍 And the penguin... So cute
Aww the goat!
The deer fawn was so cute!
It's amazing! I love the realism and the colour style
Woah! It looks so real! Where are your subs? You definetely deserve more!
Sick animating!
It May not be The best animations but the texture is awesome? What program is that?
i didint even say that! xD
Wow! These animations are so amazing!
Dude, that is freaking awesome! I hope you'll get a great animating career in the future :)
Please animate warrior cat series!!!!!!!
Not realistic at all. No feeling of mass and mess with anatomical movements. You should do something with your rig - legs are twitching badly.
😐
This looks so amazing! It helped me look at feet and legs movements for my own animations
Such polished models!
Your models+texture are Perfect
The penguin walk- I can't- so adorable- And YOU- Are amazing fam.
These are all awesome, I'm just getting started with animation and modeling using Maya and Mudbox. Your textures and colors are awesome, too. Thanks for sharing
They look so realistic good job
Wow that's amazing! Great work
Awww my god adorable and so realistic with all that furr and smooth animation
THEYRE ALL SO FLUFFY
These models are so cool! You dude are an amazing artist !!
I was wheezing at the penguin run cycle. It’s even funnier knowing that’s actually how they run!
You're very talented, but since this was about four years ago, I know you have improved. Some of the walk/run cycles were kinda stiff, but I really loved the wolf walk cycle, and the lion walk cycle. The bear also looked really good. After a while you can see you've improved with making them a little less stiff, but now you're probably doing live-action remake-like stuff.
Those models and animations are gorgeous!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍 YOU ARE AMAZING!!! You really should have more subscribers!!!!!!
This was uploaded on my birthday lol these are very well made btw! Great job!
That was... AWSOME! Amazing vid. I bet there was a lot of time spent into that vid!
All you're missing is a horse or some type of equine. I know those are the hardest but you're INCREDIBLE.
Nice job. Top! Wonderful animations
These are all so good!! 😵 One thing I would recommend is have the run cycles on some of them not seem so mechanical, but what am I saying, I could NEVER do better 😂
Keep on with the awesome works
Oh my God , they are amazing and I love them 😍😍
These are great thanks for sharing.
I needed reference for an animation and this really helped! Also these are amazing 3d animations!
I LOVE The dog one! Very talented!
That penguin is downright creepy with how realistic it is-
Aaah!!!! the baby goat is soo ADORABLE!!!!
you have come a long way
Amazing!!! I was very entertained watching this. Love the penguins run cycle!!!
I loved the reindeer, it's really well animated and very cute
Amazing work!
Excellent work
super work, wonderful..
Looks amazing!
they look so real 😍
These are so good!!!
Looks amazing 👏 😍
Top notch ! Well done
Dang, I really want that penguin model. Amazing job with the animations and models.
I could offer a few minor (MINOR) tips, but they're all AMAZING!
