John was such a gangster. Literally he had no fear or concern of anyone. Just fought for his brothers. Arthur was trying to deal with his demon. Tommy was smart but john was a pure gangster

I loved the fact that you can really see a change in the rest of the character after Johns death, they were never the same after that. In other shows when a main character dies, a few episodes later is like nothing happened. Not in this show tho.

- Finn won't resemble John much. The 3 Elder Shelby brothers have seen a gruesome war and have fought in its darkest parts, so they are indestructible and Rutheless, Finn on the other hand is the smaller chiller brother who has lived a normal life so he won't grow up to be the real Gangsters his brothers are
