for me this was the best version of ronaldo...freekicks,dribbling,long shots,short range,headers,penalty,passing,assists,linkup plays,week foot ,speed little bit of defending as well ....this os the best version probably better than man utd Cristiano in 2006-2008 not in terms of entertainment but in terms of entertainment and output ..the most succesfull version was obviously 2015-2018 winning three ucl in a row,a euro and the nations league..but 2010 to 2013 ronaldo had bit of everything ...

Better than Messi at what exactly? Messi is a much better footballer. Why do I think so you may ask? Messi is a complete player he has everything, dribbling, passing, finishing, IQ, vision, consistency, free kicks, penalties, corners, versatility, EVERYTHING but heading. The only thing Ronaldo is clear at than Messi is heading ability and penalties. This Messi-Ronaldo debate is an insult to Messi who is more than just a goal scorer. Players like Messi is what make the beautiful game beautiful. While Ronaldo is more of great athlete and great goal scorer. He’s like the Ultra pace and power merchant. Messi is a superior baller and it’s not even close.

I’m not saying Messi is bad bruv, he’s obviously one of the greatest there is. But Ronaldo I think was possibly the better assist provider bc even though Messi got more assists over all, Ronaldo had better assists and more assists from outside the box. but yeah fair play to Messi in the year 2012 he was slightly better than Ronaldo and one of the best prime years of a player we’ve ever seen.
