@@level1865 Big Tiger = Medium Size bear. Tigers in Siberia has been getting smaller and smaller.There is no difference between Siberian and Bengal Tigers anymore. They are same size but sometimes Siberian can get 250kg or even a bit more. In Zoos sometimes even close to 300kg. But avage is 180-200kg in male Tigers. Bears can be anything between 300-950kg. Huge variation in Bear sizes.

The worst part is that the guy thought the Grizzly was going to win and he was going to make him face a Lion right after. Even if I find it awful to make animals that have not asked for anything and will never meet, we now know that the Tiger has the advantage

That bear look really young and was still much bigger than Tiger. Male bear is adult when it is around 10years old. After that they start growing fast. Tiger is lucky to reach 10-14 years age. Bear can live 30years.. Female bears other hand can have cubs after 2 or 3years.

Unfortunately size doesn’t mean everything. And yeah there is recent footage of a bear running away from a tiger, and yes tigers do prey on bears. Their remains have been found in their stomachs. Apparently the opposite has happened too, but I think it’s bears killing and eating tiger cubs.

That tiger too was a sub-adult, maybe bit more advanced state than the Brown Bear. But still none of these were adults at the time of video recording.

@@harsha1989able Probably yes. There is just one thing. When male Bears reach they adulthood Tiger is old or dead at that time. Female Bears can make cubs age 3-5 year old but males comes far behind. That is a reason why u see a lot of "small" bears because they are not full size until 10years old. And they start build more mass after that. So biggest Bears are always older ones and also dominant ones. Tiger live avarage 12 years and mature much faster. So they are almost always full grown. That was really baby Bear i think max 250kg or even less. Hard to tell bc camera can make a tricks.

They're both adolescents so they'll play, and as adults they'll probably ignore each other. Lions thought would try to fight both of them. Because tigers and bears are solitary, and lions are more social. Tigers and bears like being left alone.

It’s natural for bears to be a bit scared of tigers. Although not common, tigers can prey on bears. It doesn’t mean the tiger will win this fight. The tiger’s usual success rate in a hunt is about 25-30%. But if it has the advantage of stealth and the first attack, the tiger can win and bears are on the menu.

This is a fight of who gets a hold of who first. If the brown bear gets its signature spine shot in on the Tiger, it’s done. If the tiger gets the bear’s throat, the bear is done.

I feel like if ANY bigcat gets a hold of a grizzly the bear will throw it down before any major damage can be down. Male tigers, lions, leopards, etc fight for damn near an hour before 1 dies, if it dies.... And even then it usually dies as a result of the fight. Sometimes it does directly from being choked and killed but most time it does from wounds. But me cat fights take 30min-1hour or longer before 1 is major damage. Imagun how long it will take to put away bear. Surly even if a bigcat gets a hold on a big ass grizzly its gonna have to keep getting more and more holds on the bear. Those shits are way to strong and durable. But the time big cat is in a position to attempt a killing bite, its gonna be fucked up by then, especially if that means it has to come face to face to get near bears neck.

Actually it just comes down to the size of the bear and the tiger. But if you have a fully grown male Kodiak or Polar bear weighing more than 1200lbs no tiger has a chance.

Actual biological facts are that amur tigers prey on juveniles ( like the bear in this video ) and hibernating mother bears. A tiger knows how to kill and kill easily without much efforts. A bear is not good at killing. Anyone seen a bear killing a male cougar even. Bears take a lot of time to kill a large dear or moose. Why people think they can easily kill a tiger is beyond me.

No Tiger or Lion even the largest 800-900 lb ones could defeat a Coastal Kodiak Brown bear, that is over 1500 lbs let alone the heaviest 2200-2300 lb Kodiak bears. They are built like tanks, and nothing a large cat could do to them.

Kodiak Bears are big and slow the Tiger is fast and agile. The Tiger is the undisputed most dangerous predator on land..Wolves avoid them,whereas they don’t mind running rings around a big fat slow Bear..Grey Wolf numbers decline with the presence of a Siberian Tiger. It does’t mean a Siberian Tiger will look to eat the largest Bears,they will rarely give way to them however..It’s cousins will tackle Rhino after all. Only if easier food such as smaller Brown Bears at various points of the year and other animals are scarce will they tackle the larger prey. As a predator the overgrown predominantly Salmon eating Bear has nothing on the Tiger.

Saw a small female bear get jumped at the watering hole by a tiger that was substantially larger than the bear. About 5 minutes into the ruckus the tiger was on the wrong side of the exchange. Bears are tanks that clumsy wreck everything. Stay away is the best policy

Funny to see tiger fan boys claiming something over this irrelevant video. If anything it shown that smaller animals can act very bravely behind fences/bars. Dogs for instance bark behind the fence but when outside often seem to shy away. Tigers also get scared sometimes even from tiny animals. BTW, that bear probably has some growth to be done and already looks impressive. And that tiger is a beautiful specimen.

In a less-than-proud moment in our history, loggers in the US Pacific Northwest used to pit such creatures against each other for "entertainment". They weight 2X more and got a thick skin, signature hump that protects their neck. Also brown bears have longer and bigger claws and bigger skull. You can be a tiger fanboy but when it comes to bears they will always lose.

If a Tiger and a Bear were to fight, the bear would have the upper hand and most advantages, however this just wouldn't happen. If a tiger and a bear encountered each other, the tiger would probably scare the bear off or the other way around.

They are same size but sometimes Siberian can get 250kg or even a bit more. In Zoos sometimes even close to 300kg. But avage is 180-200kg in male Tigers. Bears can be anything between 300-950kg. Huge variation in Bear sizes.

That bear look really young and was still much bigger than Tiger. Male bear is adult when it is around 10years old. After that they start growing fast. Tiger is lucky to reach 10-14 years age. Bear can live 30years.. Female bears other hand can have cubs after 2 or 3years.
Unfortunately size doesn’t mean everything. And yeah there is recent footage of a bear running away from a tiger, and yes tigers do prey on bears. Their remains have been found in their stomachs. Apparently the opposite has happened too, but I think it’s bears killing and eating tiger cubs.

That is a reason why u see a lot of "small" bears because they are not full size until 10years old. And they start build more mass after that. So biggest Bears are always older ones and also dominant ones. Tiger live avarage 12 years and mature much faster. So they are almost always full grown. That was really baby Bear i think max 250kg or even less. Hard to tell bc camera can make a tricks.

This is a fight of who gets a hold of who first. If the brown bear gets its signature spine shot in on the Tiger, it’s done. If the tiger gets the bear’s throat, the bear is done.
I feel like if ANY bigcat gets a hold of a grizzly the bear will throw it down before any major damage can be down. Male tigers, lions, leopards, etc fight for damn near an hour before 1 dies, if it dies.... And even then it usually dies as a result of the fight. Sometimes it does directly from being choked and killed but most time it does from wounds. But me cat fights take 30min-1hour or longer before 1 is major damage. Imagun how long it will take to put away bear. Surly even if a bigcat gets a hold on a big ass grizzly its gonna have to keep getting more and more holds on the bear. Those shits are way to strong and durable. But the time big cat is in a position to attempt a killing bite, its gonna be fucked up by then, especially if that means it has to come face to face to get near bears neck.
